Hey Rhett, So good to see you today. Great catch up on the cows heifers and calves. I think it has been a while so when I get the notice I try to watch in short order. It is fun to see the young calves that are grown up and having calves themselves now. I suppose your daughter is getting older. I find on some channels the young kids that were so involved sometimes pull away and really don't want to be on the camera. I am always so happy the parents can respect this and not try to push them. The farm side of the equation is the genetics and the herd sire is a giant piece of that. Moving on from one bull to another is always a big decision. Will be nice to see Gaston move into that role knowing he will be marking time until he is replaced also. God bless y'all take care by for now, Steven
Nice looking bull, we've got a Gaston at our farm too. He was a bull prospect but didn't turn out how we wanted him to so now he's a steer and will compete in market steer classes this year. Hopefully he'll make weight for my county fair in July so he can be sold there but we'll have to wait and see how that goes.
