Hey Delos family I am The Crew remade a new channel for my scuba diving adventures and future life in sailing as promised I said I be you next patron after getting my Padi license and I am holding true to it hope you will watch my history video of Joecassee and my dive.
You met my sons family at the boat show. Probably doesn’t remember to many people. alex and Lily Shannon plus 9 yr old boy and 8 yr old girl. A they are just beginning the adventure on SV Beyzano.
Sr you and your family do make a huge impact on people's life's thanks to you all I'll be buying a sailboat in 2 years going to do what I wanted to do since I was 8 years old thanks to you and your family for the inspiration
Bioluminescence is magical! I lived in the Golfo Dulce, Costa Rica for four years and night swimming watching the dolphins and fish in the bioluminescence is one of my fondest memories. Mermaid status! 🧜🏼♀️ Love you videos! Thanks for sharing!
Love you guys! I’m in New Zealand sick as a dog with covid and feeling extremely sorry for myself!! I’ve just recently discovered you guys and love the channel and your great attitude /sense of humour.. re. Sled boy, classic. What an amazing life
Hey Dog, its people like you that make the world a little better. If ever down in SC. give a heads up, dinners on us ~ you can sit at the head of the table. thx bud.
I felt like I was there with you! The wind snapping the sails, beautiful lightening and the dolphin pod playing around Delos on the night watch!! Scary times, happy times, it looks like the most wonderful life. I’m so happy to see it all through adult eyes and Sierra eyes. Sometimes my face hurts from smiling throughout the episode! Thank you for sharing your experiences, love and hugs from sunny Arizona 💖😎💖
One of the coolest things I've ever experienced sailing was the glowing torpedo dolphins during watch while racing from St. Pete to Havana. Thanks for sharing.
There's nothing that I could say, every Friday I am expecting this kind of content, this is soooo AMAZING! Thank you for sharing your life with us. YOU INSPIRE US!
Oh man, we recently finished Delos' circumnavigation and we've been going through lots of old pics and videos, so many memories, highs and lows, it's almost overwhelming. So many different chapters in the Delos story, each one special in its own way ☺
Aren't all the stories each human has created just amazing?! It boggles my mind sometimes when I think in such a way...like all the people you pass in a day - they all have their stories going on, and I will never know of it. Thank you SO much for sharing your amazing story with us and the also for the AI to learn from. It needs to learn some good stories to balance out the ugh/oof/and horrible, for sure.
Apologies for the unsolicited advice. Modern DSLR or mirrorless cameras can film that low light photography a whole lot better. Frankly all low light photography is difficult, so no worries. I'm always impressed by your cinematography. You have one of the most polished RUclips channels out there. 💨 ⛵ 🙂
@@keebearfull they have a lot of cameras. I'm pretty sure they have a DSLR, or somebody's that was on the boat at one time. Yet for spontaneity and ease of use, the GoPro is still the king. The new DGI Osimo gear is pretty nifty too!
Every Delos installment makes me so happy, it's like an addiction... when I don't see one for awhile, I get frantic. Sure sign, huh? I really admire how you guys work out a great solution for everything that comes your way. A confidence builder... and happy Nuggs just reflects what she sees in you!
Hey guys, I have been watching you for years. I’m sure it’s hard to know how much you impact people you’ve never met. I just want to say I appreciate every bit of work that goes into every video, I look forward to every video that comes out. Because of you guys my wife and I have sold our house in California and are planning to buy a house in Baja Mexico with the hope of someday traveling the world sailing and living as inexpensively as possible. We are actually headed to San Felipe this weekend to check out the scene. I hope someday to be able to buy you a beer in person.
That is a scary story. The entire boat being knocked over, it reminds me of that book I read “The Wave” about rogue waves and just how dangerous they can be. Fascinating book but a lesson in respecting the ocean.
Always look forward to Fridays and the Delos vid. Hoping you're all doing okay, and Kay has spared you any damage and very little clean up. All the best!
Thanks Andy, yep we came through just fine thankfully, but unfortunately some other boats around us dragged into the shallows, pretty scary stuff. Thanks for the well wishes!
Brian and Karen, I am assuming that with Jordans heavy intake of beans that y'all make her stay downwind a lot... Smile... I just subscribed s few days ago; and have been on a binge watch beginning with your Panama Canal venture then going back to the San Blas episodes. Great productions: filled with fun, smiles, and Sierra is definitely the Star. Y'all are so blessed. Thank you for sharing. Cheers! Blue Skies, Fair Winds, and Following Seas. Faithfully, James
You really are inspiring to a lot of people. We hope to join the sailing world in a few years and just signed up to take our ASA 101 and 103 on a sailboat next year. It all started with your videos. Thank you!!!
Karin, for sea sickness, have you tried the acupressure bracelet? It has a plastic pressure point, that you put over the middle of your wrist in the middle. Right where the hand meets the wrist on the underside. I discovered them when I took my Mom whale watching in Maine. It was a super choppy day. The whole boat was puking. But not me or my Mom:)!!! They aren't expensive and can be used over and over. I just did a search on Amazon Prime, and they had a set of 5 pairs for $7.99!
Wow I just watched a video of you guys for the first time, from two years ago. The next video I watch is this one and it’s crazy to see your kid grown that much.
Karen, I reccommend trying Betahistine for seasickness. It works great for me and and doesn't seem to cause any drowsiness/unpleasant side effects. I use it when I'm working in the back of a bouncy, rolly ambulance with not many windows. In the UK it has to be prescribed by a Dr (the rest of the world, I don't know) but it is so much more pleasant than the usual motion sickness medication you can buy at the pharmacy. I know the debilitating feeling of seasickness too well and I really hope this helps you with your life at sea.
Greeting Delos crew, Well on your Nauti or nice segment today the nice comment talked about how your videos touch people. Well, I agree I'm transported into my happy place watching your videos. I thank you for that. Delos has shown me that at 60 yrs. old I can still dream. Sorry for my foray into your Pateron page a while back.🤣🤣🤣 Loving every minute of it Delos...
I think your amazing Kazza, I have trouble with my equilibrium as well and only been out once sailing and ended up have to come back onshore after being sick! love watching your video's and seeing Sierra growing up!
Great video, Love you guys yes Jordan too her sailor hair is great, the new segment is a hit keep it up and real time glad the hurricane stayed off shore a bit.
Hey guys, I'm from Upland Pennsylvania and been watching since the beginning, I think, love yall, thank you for sharing 👍🙏❤️😎🌊🐬🌴⚓was watching this and alot of news about the queen at the same time, God rest her soul, great video, til next time, ciao ciao
I love watching you guys! Sierra is growing so fast. and has become quite the character, She is only going to get funnier. You make me want to learn to sail but I would definitely have a hard time going such great distances as you do. That and after watching and reading Jaws, Let's just say, I ain't going in no water until the damn boat has SUNK!
I must say, I've noticed you looking more slender, Brian. I just thought it was the summer weather and busy-ness. That tip-over must have scared y'all half to death! Praying you will have safety the rest of the long trip.
Great night time Sailor Stories! Reminds me of the original Jaws where Quint, Hooper, & Chief Broady were telling their death defying stories at sea with the John William's score behind it; "I got that beat, I got that beat"
I used to be a deckhand on a salmon trolling boat in Alaska. It was a cool job because we fished on the open ocean, typically in sight of land, but sometimes 50-80 miles off the coast. The one problem for me is I get seasick. That’s a problem for the skipper too because my seasickness and inability to work cost him money. I only let it affect my productivity once, my very first day on the job. That night I took two Dramamine pills and slept through that tired feeling you get. The next day I was able to fish without any problem so that night I took one and a half pills and slowly wean myself off of the medication over the next few days. If you know you are going to do long passages, I think it could really help you. Seasickness is the worst!
I keep Watching these videos and think - I'd Love to do something like this for 3-4 months. Lets see what the future holds. Thanks alot for the great content - really love your videos.
This video cause my fiancé and I to trip out a little bit because we were just talking about this the day the vid came out. I always wonder how far Delos has been on her side now we know all the way to the Sail’s in the water WOW. We always love watching you guys always inspire us to be more free! “Avenger” We will keep watching the vid as long as you keep making the contact Thx.
Hi everyone! Where are you guys right now? Are you going to head up the coast of California? There's not a Friday I don't look forward to your videos! I've been captaining for awhile now out of San Pedro. Hopefully looking at a cat soon! Brian your a lucky man! Wonderful wife and daughter and a sweet friend to sail with your family. Wish I was there having fun with you guys! My favorite video is that island north of Madagascar out in the middle of no where. I'd be butt naked the whole time. Luv y'all!
Guy's watchin the game of Yahtzee.. thinking about those days of strip Yahtzee an cup a soup... Good times!! My son said "what no skinny dipping with dolphins?" Thanks for sharing your lives with us..✌🏼💗😊❣️
Another awesome vid guys. Loved the naughty or nice segment. You know the mind will wander, there will always be million's of questions and what If's scenario's about your life stile but we will just let our imagination's run wild. 🥰 Hope that hurricane in Mexico wasn't to hard to ride out. Take care.
Haha thanks Bubba, we've been getting a kick out if too going through old videos for good comments 😂 Yep we made it through the hurricane safe and sound!
There's a video just posted up from SV Basik (Onboard lifestyle) who going by the AIS data are pretty much just across the gulf from Delos (they are on the peninsula side, Delos are on the mainland side) and it _looks_ wild but is actually probably not as bad as it looks. IIRC 50-ish knots of wind.
For seasickness, take a grapefruit and cut it into wedges. Just take a wedge and eat it and continue through out the day. I learned this from some old fishing boat and shrimp boat crewmen. Best wishes. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
You know I really wonder how you guys plan on educating the Nugget once she gets to the age where traditional schooling normally takes place. It'd be a lot of time for Kazza to home (or should I say boat) school her, and since you guys got that internet upgrade a few years ago are you planning on paying a tutor? I know this question seems out of place but I'm curious since I'm hoping that the Nugget growing up isn't going to stop you guys from sailing.
What was the Swedish phrase that you had for the naughty segment? Great little family and my wife and I love watching your little family together on such a great adventure. I cherish every minute I get out on the water. Even on the nasty ones. Cheers
I love that little clip of nugget at the end of the video riding her bike into the wall and saying yahoo can you do that for Times on the road for the next video please

I'm still loving that clip of Nugget cheering after going all of six inches before crashing into the bulkhead. Priceless.

Those dolphins were amazing! It's 6 am and I'm having my coffee in smokey Northern Ca. Watching this set my mind right for the day. Thank you!
I love Jordan being onboard. An added bonus

Jordan's smile gives me a soulgasm
Hello all! Sierra's bike ride in the cockpit never gets old! Whoo who!!!
I was just telling that story to some friends....it was both arms in the air ...whoo who ...
I know it's so cute we decided to add it to the endscreen just so we can watch it again every week 😂

I always smile through your videos, but you really got me giggling at the end with the Nauti or Nice segment!
Congrats on such an amazing daughter. I had THREE of 'em. All have degrees and their own families now--job done.
Jordan adds so much smile whenever she is onscreen. And he desire for the naughty choice was a wicked bonus!
It’s crazy how fast life happens. When Brian is talking about the log book, it seems like he really was really reminiscing.
