The howling sound is unlike anything else, so crazy! Happy the storm stayed off shore and no damage done to us or any of the other boats in the marina 🙏
I kinda stopped watching because life got crazy for a little bit but coming back and seeing how much nugs has grown made my heart warm. Such a cute girl and cute family! You guys are awesome keep it up and stay safe you guys!
wow. just checked out this channel after a few years not watching it and I cant believe so many subscribers stayed with you after you ditched your brother, got a baby and said goodbye to everything else that was fun.
Great vid of the storm chasing you up the coast. Sorry you didn't make a stop in Puerto Escondido. I was looking forward to meeting you in person. JORDON, when you go surfing, please take a Gopro with you. Safe journey! 🌞💚😎
Thanks for making all the awesome videos over the years Delos Crew ! ! Music in this episode has been great. Thinking it's time to make a new Sailing SV Delos theme song that plays at the beginning of each episode, no offence but it's growing old.
We are late in the South Pacific cyclone seasons in Fiji. So fingers crossed the cyclones stay away before we can sail west. Thanks for the great video.
I have found memories of Tenacatita. I was there with Paul Allen in 91. He has his crew set up inflable palm trees on the beach and we raced jet skis thur the mangroves. His boat was 150 ft Charade mine was a 76 ft Morgan called Big Toy.
When running from wind.... Blow to the next beautiful hidey hole.... Best advice ever.... For life an sailing... ! Great episode. Thanks for sharing your lives with us grateful ✌🏼💗😊❣️
Need to update that intro map with the last few dots of your circumnavigation. 😅Such an amazing feat! Keep up these amazing videos and congrats to you and your family with fair winds!
The only thing constant is change...that was Heraclitas. He also said "Time is a game played beautifully by children". Watching little Nugget play will confirm that idea.🌻
I’ve been watching Delos for a long long time now. I love everything about her but my very favorite is that little precocious beauty- Sierra, AKA nugget. She’s everything!
Great job filming, editing, and the music was spot on.👌I remember the Ragged Island"s 🏝 What comfort and fun you provided during really trying times. I had a blast and forgot about life for a moment in time each week. Great episode 👏
Brian, maybe he’s not there in the summer, but how could you not show Barra’s best feature,JC the French baker?? He comes to the anchorage and marina every morning (except wed) in his panga loaded with baked goods, croissants galore!! Top shelf! Delivered! Dang I can taste them now………….
Hi everybody, that kind of noise that Kaza doesn’t like, comes from the dome of the church I guess, when the wind goes through those arched openings under the dome, this sound is amplified by the dome itself which works as a subwoofer
Very fun episode. I love the weather, as frightening as it can be. That looks like the "Windy" app that you're using? I recently discovered that too while following the Golden Globe Race. It is really great fun to play around with. Happy and safe travels!
And little did we know we still had several more storms ahead of us that you'll see in future episodes. Sailing during hurricane season is something we hope to avoid doing again in the future for sure!
When to pull in to harbor is a decision anyone who has been to sea is familiar with rode out a typhoon at dock in Shanghai many moons ago. Sierra seems quite happy exploring the beach. Looking forward to next week.
Question about avoiding hurricane season: Brian, you mentioned a while back that Delos was heading for the Sea of Cortez for hurricane season as a safe haven. Is that still the plan, if so, and this might be a really uneducated question, why not make a beeline there vs. stopping in various locations, other than the obvious need to resupply, occasional need to run Baby Nuggs energy off and so on? I grew up pleasure boating in the Midwest with a tiny bit of sailing on really poor, low wind lakes. Really enjoy the channel and wish you all fair winds wherever you may currently be.
Jordan you have a wonderful laugh. I was hoping you were going to show us how your surfing went. I'm currently on a 36 footer sailing up the Chesapeake Bay to take it out for the winter.
So Right, Brian. That WAS a disturbing picture! 🫣🤣🤣You two had me rolling there…😆Awesome look into skirting between 2 moderate Blows, for sure. Central Floridian here, just went thru IAN. 😢🙃TG my Family not as impacted like those around SW Gulf! 😩Little Nuggs growing like a weed now, heh?! Sooo very cute. Just love the memories share off the pic at the end, for sure! ❤️Stay Safe. 👍😎
Absolute Dream I am so addicted to sailing only sailing around in the bay on a friend's small mono and then there is the Hobi Cat Catamaran I loved that as a youngster.
Why is the ship wheel showing to the right of the companionway in the video from 10:40-11:22. Did you do some image flip in editing? Seems the wheel is normally to the left of the companionway.
It does make you realise how terrible the fuel prices are in the UK and how much it costs to do your work commute. Currently in the UK, it is an average of $8.27 a gallon 😬😬
Thanks for the Nord VPN discount! We’ve been meaning to sign up for too long, finally pulled the trigger when I saw your add. Keep up the good work, you are my inspiration! One day I hope to circumnavigate the globe just like you! Thanks for everything you do -Nick
Kinda crazy seeing the best stretch of Mexican coast in the off season! No boats in Tenacatita is bizarre. Missed opportunity not exploring Barra, because it’s amazing. No French baker delivering pastries every morning by dighny? Y’all gotta go back.
I wonder what you do with your wind turbines when you have to hunker down like that - do you use the wind to keep you topped on electricity or you fix it to protect from overload?
"From what I remember..." So, since you circumnavigated our home everything will be a second pass, now! Congratulation to living your dream and looking to more world to explore!
I have seen this now for a while, and it seems like the same thing on most channels; and that is that most do not use rubber dampers on the lines. Actually they are almost always good to have, not just for comfort, but in these cases for safety; they lessen the max loads on cleats and lines significantly. I even use them when anchoring sometimes. Just simple rubber ones that are easy to add and remove.
Love the Wall of Fortune tradition. Fun way to recap some special moments 🤩
"Wooohoooo" never gets old
I like the wall of fortune segment, wish you could link the episodes so we can go back and watch them, the stories are fun
Nugget is growing so fast. you guys truly have the life.
The sound of the wind from the hurricane was truly frightening. Happy that you rode this one out safe.
The howling sound is unlike anything else, so crazy! Happy the storm stayed off shore and no damage done to us or any of the other boats in the marina 🙏
It was bad enough in our home during Ian can't imagine being in a sailing vessel.
I always press the like button at the start of the video, because I know that I will enjoy your video
I kinda stopped watching because life got crazy for a little bit but coming back and seeing how much nugs has grown made my heart warm. Such a cute girl and cute family! You guys are awesome keep it up and stay safe you guys!
Once again thank all 4 of you.
Thanks Kiril for the editing..
Would be great to have a short segment of Jordan’s surf spots. Even if it’s flat would still be cool!!
The bike ride at the end was sweet, hilarious and a tiny bit sad all at the same time.
Love your videos, but I mostly look forward to Sierra’s “whoo hoo!” at the end. Always makes me laugh.
wow. just checked out this channel after a few years not watching it and I cant believe so many subscribers stayed with you after you ditched your brother, got a baby and said goodbye to everything else that was fun.
you are Big na Little Nugget... keep safe in the hurricane God Bless!
Makes me nervous to think of you guys near a hurricane. I’m glad you’re taking good care. Sending love from California💜🤟🏻😎⛵️🇺🇸

I agree would love to see gopro footage of her surfing.

Nice episode. I really enjoyed that final music selection.
We are late in the South Pacific cyclone seasons in Fiji. So fingers crossed the cyclones stay away before we can sail west. Thanks for the great video.
Nugget at the end on her bike….
WooooHooooo👍❤
Great vid stay safe 👍
Gotta love how you stir up bill from calico you 2 are so good 👍 !! Brian thanks for yet another great episode 👏 👍
I have found memories of Tenacatita. I was there with Paul Allen in 91. He has his crew set up inflable palm trees on the beach and we raced jet skis thur the mangroves. His boat was 150 ft Charade mine was a 76 ft Morgan called Big Toy.
These last couple of thumbnails are great ! Artistic creative humor LOL! I'm going to take a guess and say they're the work of Jordan ?
Just love living vicariously through your videos!
When running from wind.... Blow to the next beautiful hidey hole.... Best advice ever.... For life an sailing... ! Great episode. Thanks for sharing your lives with us grateful ✌🏼💗😊❣️

Oh yeah that's true! Gonna have to get on that one :)
Freda and Max need a cameo. The Indian Ocean episodes were really solid too.
Please don't ever remove from the fade out of Sierra riding her bike in the cockpit!
Laughs every time I see it.
WOO HOO 🎉
Our little Victories are important.
I loved that one too
I chuckle everytime they show her riding her little bike into the cockpit.😁
Always reminds me it's the little things in life that you have to enjoy. Always remember it's not the distance it's the journey
The hesitation of wo ho is so funny 🤣
The only thing constant is change...that was Heraclitas.
He also said "Time is a game played beautifully by children".
Watching little Nugget play will confirm that idea.🌻
Even 5 mos. after the fact y'all do not disappoint. Thanks, crew!
It’s awesome just knowing y’all are out there living the dream. Keep on boating
these videos and clips are 5 months old lol
I’ve been watching Delos for a long long time now. I love everything about her but my very favorite is that little precocious beauty- Sierra, AKA nugget. She’s everything!

Aw thanks, so glad you enjoyed it...and YES the Ragged Island days was such a special moment in time that we will never forget 🥰
Man that sound of the wind whipping through the rigging is terrifying laugh out loud. one of those sounds you will never ever forget!
It's a sound like nothing else for sure 😳
it's really interesting when there's date stamp on the material. 4+ months for this to be posted. Wow!

Wow that is almost like a Texas Tornado, the sound is crazy and the brown sky after the storm. Love ya, happy all are well
Love watching you guys and your transition to your little little family 👪 .. happy sailing
Though your episodes are always good, the music score on this one was extraordinary....especially the hurricanes! 😁💙💛
Woo Hoo! I'm glad to see that Jordan is still with you.
I’ve been loving the surf here in So Cal. Stay safe.
kaza totally looked at the picture prior to your "random" blind folded pick hahaha so great
Very fun episode. I love the weather, as frightening as it can be. That looks like the "Windy" app that you're using? I recently discovered that too while following the Golden Globe Race. It is really great fun to play around with. Happy and safe travels!
Sorry I missed you guys in PV, glad you're safe
Wow amazing episode! Love the music selections!!
The sound of that wind!😮😳
Thank you for sharing
Wow. Well done. I could feel the stress of staying ahead of these storms.
And little did we know we still had several more storms ahead of us that you'll see in future episodes. Sailing during hurricane season is something we hope to avoid doing again in the future for sure!
Great episode! The wind sound is scary.
When to pull in to harbor is a decision anyone who has been to sea is familiar with rode out a typhoon at dock in Shanghai many moons ago. Sierra seems quite happy exploring the beach. Looking forward to next week.
Thank you
Maldito viento Lobo, suerte amigos.
Please release Sierra's whoohoo as a ringtone!
Just missed you all at the boat show. Bummed. Our family has been huge fans for years.
I discovered you guys due to Covid. Ironic how Delos’ Swedish Princess picked a puck from then. Safe travels.
Nuggs is absolutely, "kazzatron",..with a Brian grinn
My advertisement was from delos. Loaded fine.
Can't load the episode.
At least I got to see something new 🤣
Great episode

how many changes were made to the original boat, the best boat in the three oceans.
WooHoo another great video!
Blas is a name from El Salvador BTW. I work wit him regularly. Great guy. Love that Kiril is still editing. Can we get a Face to Face cameo from him?

I washed away worst hangover of my life at that beach. Watch for huge crocs at La Manzania.
I was a bit worried about all the hurricanes popping up around Mexico and you guys being down that way. Thanks for sharing.😎🏜❤👍
Brian has come a long way from using a red pipe cleaner on a map showing his and Brady’s route in the beginning episodes LoL
So funny you mention that, we actually do a little throw back to the pipe cleaner route days in a few episodes from now!
@@svdelos i think its almost 10 years I've been following you guys almost all of episode i think🤔
Hurricanes are what I worry most about when getting ready to purchase a sailboat and travel/ live off grid!
Enjoy your day!!
Great video!!! Stay safe.
Jordan seems a good fit for you all . I did like the last girl you had but she has her own boat . Anyway good stuff .
Jordan is awesome. I really like to see her every Friday.
@@Glide1992 you 😮

If you narrow your fill whole you have more pressure control over eroasion of the intake
Who else wants to live like Jordan and bounce around the world from boat to boat! I bet she lands on Zingaro next! Living the dream✌️✌️✌️
At 11:08 minutes it looks like your steering is on the right side in the cockpit! I always thought it was on the left side. Is it the camera?

so why is the footage mirror image from 10:36 till 11:25 ish? camera setup? great vid .. keep it up thanks for sharing
Kinda crazy seeing the best stretch of Mexican coast in the off season! No boats in Tenacatita is bizarre.
Missed opportunity not exploring Barra, because it’s amazing. No French baker delivering pastries every morning by dighny? Y’all gotta go back.
Hey SV Delos, when you guys going to be in Mazatlan?
enjoyable as always

when there is a hurricane or high winds blowing, is it best to stay on the boat or jump ship and head for shelter that is safe?
