Nice work, problem solving is the most fun part of the conversion.

I laughed my way through this. Of course you didn’t expect those riv bits to line up! Because 80% of the time they don’t! 😂. And I loved the part you decided not to show us that you showed us anyway. Nice to see your human. I had many van build days like that.
I’m waiting to see what hinges you use for the cabinet. I’m still smacking my head as I wait, but no pressure 😅
Love you guys, it’s coming out great! Mines pretty much done- I’m going through van build withdrawal.

Hi Trish, I meant to try and install some hinges this past weekend, but got sidetracked. Once this 3rd cabinet is up...I may try and build a shaker door...but the lower cabinet is screaming for me to get started on it as well :). Tania bought those European style hinges, based on a video she watched from Alex and Sara James. It seems like they should work with or without face frames.
Are you going to start a second van? We are already thinking that....

Hey Marc. Great job on this project. I’m at the same point you were. Question: did you leave the spaces on the sides open or did you end up filling them in somehow? Awesome job. Love your episodes!

I dont know. I have seen them listed as rivet nuts, rivnut, plusnuts, blind rivets, etc. There is a UK van builder name Greg Virgoe on You Tube. He has great content. You might ask him what they are called there. They have so many names here in the US. I would imagine same situation there.

Hi and so sorry for the late reply. I remember having to just pull and twist a lot of stuff up there to get it out. Then more twisting and pushing to get it back in
