I screamed for help and only one person came to help me. He came right as he was about to hit me again, and my face was almost unrecognizable. The other neighbors I had heard after that had called the police but never came to help. The one neighbor even had a brother that was home who heard it, and he was an MMA fighter🤦‍♀️ Wilson came running at the sound of gun shots. Now that is one hell of a man🙏

This story REALLY hits home hard because a couple of years ago I suddenly was contacted by my former high school girlfriend (we graduated in 1996) and at first I was amiable and was willing to let bygones be bygones, until she started eagerly telling me how her ex husband was making her and her kids lives miserable. Thankfully, I remembered why I ended things with her to begin with and how she had a nasty habit of pitting a new bf against a previous one. I told her she should contact the police about it all and make it clear I wanted no part of her drama. Moral of the story, the person who is your ex, they are an "ex" for a reason......

Darren was completely in love with Jennifer, and she used this to play him and manipulate him into doing anything she wanted.
He wouldn't question her, she was giving him a situation in which they could be together, and that was all he wanted. Even if he found something a bit strange or not making full sense, his mind wanted it all to be true. He wanted to believe and he did.
She had complete control over him and she used him as much as she wanted.

Why can't people just leave because nowadays we all know that no one gets away with this kind of stuff anymore.

And they do, champ. FBI stats show 40% of murders go unsolved.
This murder was solved due to standard law enforcement procedures, and some fortunate evidence.
There are a few “what ifs” in this case. Like what if the murderer chose a different location? What if he used a different vehicle? What if HE had his phone wiped clean? Etc.
Don’t think law enforcement solve every murder. It shows you have zero knowledge of reality.

The contrast between that neighbor’s character vs the character of the two criminals from this case is astounding. That neighbor is brave, honorable, courageous, has integrity and a strong moral compass; literally willing to fight and die in order to protect/save someone he didn’t even know. He is literally a hero.
Then the other two people are all the absolute worst parts of human nature combined between the two of them.
