Lovebites formed in 2016 by Bassist Miho and her ex bandmate from Destrose Haruna on Drums they recruited Midori on Guitar and Miyako on Guitar and Piano then they heard Asami's demo of her R&B music and they liked her singing so she learned to sing power metal and since then they have put out 3 albums, 4 EP's, 4 Live albums and a compilation album of their best hits 2017-2021. In 2018 they won the metal hammer golden god award in London for best new metal band. the name Lovebites believe it or not didn't come from either of the Love Bites songs (Def Leppard, Judas Priest) instead it originated because Asami loved the Halestorm song Love Bites and so do I and sang it with Lzzy Hale onstage at an event.
