Have watched two videos now, and just subscribed. I dont even have a machine yet, but your channel is very informative and I am learning alot. Your channel is very helpful and now I will know what to look for when I purchase one and how to adjust. Thank you
Thank you so much. I have a older model Aero Pilates reformer, the straps needs a little adjusting. I have to find my manual, ugh! You really helped me understand how to adjust these straps. I love your workout on Aero Pilates. Keep them coming!
I am so glad that this video was helpful! And I am glad you have your straps adjusted and are ready to go. Thank you for your thoughtful comment about the workouts on this channel. I hope to have more coming soon. Enjoy your AeroPilates! :)
Yes, having correctly adjusted straps makes a world of difference in your workouts. I am glad that this video was helpful. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! :)
Thank you so much! I actually bought this in 2016 and just put it together! 😮🤷♀️ It’s a long story but I had traumatic event happen and well finally I’m coming out of my depression from the tremendous loss and feel like I am getting back to living. I’m getting on it now for the first time! Thank you so much for your wonderful videos! 🤟💪💃
It is so good to hear from you. I am sorry to hear about your grief. The things life brings our way can be so difficult. I am sorry for your pain and loss. Now that time has passed, it is a wise decision to start using your AeroPilates. It sounds weird, but this machine is like a good friend that has helped me through stress, depressive times, injuries, body aches (and more), and I hope it can be ALL that for you as well. Take care of yourself and please let me know if you have any questions along the way.
Your video is very helpful! I've just recently bought a 5-cord Reformer Plus and it has the exact same fuzzy handles and I have yet to adjust them properly. So, your tips are great! Thank you so much!
No worries, that is an easy fix. It took me some time to find out how to adjust them and once I did, I wanted to share. Which model do you have? Once you get your straps adjusted, you will be ready to go. I hope you are loving your AeroPilates.
@@everythingaeropilates I have the Aero Pilates 5 cord black stamina reformer. I found it on Facebook Marketplace for $250 and the woman never used it. It came with a balance bar, foot bar, ballet bar, headrest for neck, fluffy handle covers, & rebounder. I'm 5"6' but have very long arms and legs and had to adjust the straps as well as the handle. Your video helped so much because I would have never figured out to adjust the handles. This did not come with directions and this is my first time at pilates. Thank you for your videos they are very helpful. I am loving AeroPilates.
How wonderful to have gotten this from your family member! I am excited for you & I hope you will love your AeroPilates. As to the resistance, my first question would be if you have tried adding cords for more resistance? If it still feels loose, it would seem that the cords on the machine are too loose or missing. You can tighten them for better resistance. It is best if you have someone help you tie the cords, but you can do it alone. I am linking a video where I am changing out a cord. The process would be near the same, but instead of pulling a different cord through, you would untie the existing cord, pull it tighter & retie the cord tighter. Please let me know if you have any questions about the process or if you are missing cords. ruclips.net/video/QNTT-5RaRIk/видео.html I think you will really love your new machine!! :)
I apologize for the late response! Were you able to figure out how to get your knot tied back? If not, I have a video that shows how to do it. ruclips.net/video/BmpWvIl2ht4/видео.html Please let me know if you have any other questions. :)
Mine is from 2009, I’m 82 and have used it generally 2-4x a week. I would like to update mine with the red and yellow cords and would really like to add the poles at the head where I could raise the ropes so I looked for my model number. (It is at the foot of the reformer) and then searched for that number online and found a manual for a 12 YO Aeropilates without any trouble (its in pdf form so downloaded and just open to view). Should also have said its a 4 cord on a stand, 55-5516.
I cannot follow this. You don’t explain the strap positions and I cannot see if the smooth or textured side of the Velcro is facing up/down when you start. Ugh.
Your explanation is fantastic! You helped me out so much 😊

I agree!!
Fantastic!!! Great video!! So helpful for me-my straps have been slightly off for a few years.

Omg! My pulley cords are way to long. I’ve never removed the plush part. I had no idea I could adjust them Thank you thank you

I am so glad this was able to help. The 5-cord models are the top of the line. I hope you are loving your AeroPilates! :)
Thank you for the vid! I have fiddled so much with mine, frustrating! They need to make a better system!
I agree! Their new system is better, but has other flaws. Someday perhaps. Thank you for taking the time to comment. :)
I would have loved to see you adjust the straps under the carriage
I wish I found this video sooner. I took the knots out of the ropes to adjust it (LOL). I will have to fix my mistake now.

I didn’t know how to do my loops this saved me today 😂
I am so glad that this was helpful! Having even straps really helps you get the best workout. Enjoy your AeroPilates! :)
I got this from a family member but it seems way too easy. The pad you lay on just glides super easy with almost no resistance. Is this normal?

How do I re-tie my knot if I already I did the wrong side 😢😢

Question? I bought a used Aeropilates, can I buy a manual from Stamina?

@@picnicphoto Thank you, I'll have to look for mine online!
