We are so incredibly lucky to have experienced Montsy. Those who come after will not know what a beautiful character she was. Will opera ever be the same? It will never have the best. We’ve had that.
No doubt, no doubt...she was the best Il pirate. I just listen to it again and fuck she was absolutely the best singing this and then la Callas. I will have to say that I don't want to say that Callas was not great, but vocally speaking, Caballé was better in this opera. Any way, again they both were the best Il pirate ever. I hope that they are having a cup of tea or coffee better in haven while we talk about them and for sure they are laughing about us saying...poor mortals jajaja. Opera will never be the same again, it was another time, it was a time, were the taste for the excellency still exist.

For me not even Callas surpasses Caballé, Il Pirate.
