I really love your dioramas, they are on another level already! Have you seen Luke Towan's channel? if you combine your techniques with some of his, oooh man...
Great stuff as always! What I find odd is that it seems like I saw this video some time ago, much longer than "3 weeks ago" it says this was uploaded? Is this video a "re-upload?"
@@RPRsChannel hey man, no this was not a re-upload. First time ever posting. Not sure what vid you might be thinking of but guarantee it wasn't this one. :)
What a wonderful treat to find this upload from you, Neil. The beautiful harmony produced by the natural materials is very satisfying. Thank you for a lovely ending to a long day, my friend.
Is anyone else here actually a dollhouse miniaturist?? I love learning different craft techniques from other hobbies which can also be used for 1/12 miniatures. Great video!
Love seeing you being some new techniques for some stuff that have a fairly “standard” way of doing them (ie XPS foam) - great production too on the video
I’ve been binging this channel all day, where have you been all my life?! I’m fascinated, impressed, & I’ve learned a ton from you! Your skill, patience, and effort are very obvious and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here…thank you so much for sharing this with us! ✌️😻from Alberta Canada!
@@RealTerrainHobbies I am building a small diorama now , and everything i used to make it i found on the floor or in garbage , it should be done in a week or 2 . Did you see my flying space truck , also all items were found on the floor ., Thanks Mike espo.
Can not express the excitement when I saw the new video. Always happy to watch your videos. Keep up the inspiring content. Thank you for the time, love, and effort you put into this craft.
Same here, @@RealTerrainHobbies. I had to watch this the instant I saw it. I am subscribed to a LOT of channels. But yours are the only ones that I want to watch that much. I can't wait to see what you've been working on.
Great video! It inspired me to put my nose to the grindstone and officially start out in the hobby. Well into my own version of a similar diorama. Acquisition of tools and materials are bit of a slow process but its well underway and I'm enjoying every moment of it! Thanks for motivation and guidance Neal!
Thats really nice. I think its a good idea to have separate pieces that you can use as you can probably save a lot of space doing it this way. The little well looks great!
My interest is in model railways so when I stumbled across your videos I have been hooked. The techniques and the way you tackle your projects are a great inspiration and you produce some fantastic results. I wouldn't worry about the fingernails so much. Firstly it shows you are a grafter and hard worker. Secondly your models stand out so much I bet most are not even paying attention to your nails. I got to admit that I hadn't even noticed until you mentioned it
Your videos always have a really goog lighting and fantastic close up shots. I understand why it takes so long to make one single episode. Really cool.
Beautiful project! And a very soothing video. I'm actually gonna take some idea from this to make a diorama of some of the Well House from the IT movie :)
I was only checking your channel a couple of days ago, to check I haven’t missed anything new. Glad you are still producing content and glad you have something larger going on behind the scenes for us to look forward too. Great work as always 👍🏻
Yep, gotta get my but I’m gear. But this big one is going to be a good one. There’ll be a few more vids in between before that one starts to surface tho, but it’s gonna be good.🙂
This is so cool! You work in construction? No wonder this looks so amazing! I can't wait to use some of these ideas, I'm a beginner but you make it look really easy.
Do you have any videos about those trees behind you? I'm gonna start building dioramas for my 1:10 scale figures and they're so hard to find. Just subscribed! Amazing work!
Well done. From what I have read the people at tabletop World build the masters for their buildings in a similar fashion, stone by stone, for the most realistic look.
I'm new to this and I was just wondering you have a list of items every beginner should have, like a shopping list? I really wanna learn how to do this
Love your techniques dude! You're one of the best on youtube right now IMO. Also LOL at preemptively apologizing for your finger nails for all the angry commenters haha... I'm the same way as you though. I don't even think about the dirt under my nails after a long day!
Thanks man, appreciate the kind words. And yeah lol, I knew the comments would be coming. Just not in the habit of checking things like that. Time to start thinking about these sort of things I suppose 🙄😋
Hallo Neil Great work I admire it again and again, this accuracy and details, so I am absolute beginner and also try to work with a lot of natural materials. Couldn't you even Show what kind of materials you work with, paint, glue .........!!! love greetings from vienna, austria Chris
New to the hobby--do you have to spray/coat your twigs/real organic materials so they won't biodegrade? Or do you just do this expecting your diorama to rot/degrade over the years?
Been a bit but I'm still here! Stay tuned for more, big big project going on behind the scenes. ;)

Hi! I've gotta know, did the Tabletop Tavern ever get finished? The work you did on it looked phenomenal!
Love that you used natural materials for your project. Turned out so realistic . Thanks for sharing.

Nope
This is so gorgeous. I'm so jealous, I might try making one for myself.
Go for it!
Glad I clicked. I like your approach a lot. And what an adorable tiny scene to catch a subscriber with.
It’s so relaxing to watch these videos
Very adorable. Using all natural items makes it all the better.
Love seeing you being some new techniques for some stuff that have a fairly “standard” way of doing them (ie XPS foam) - great production too on the video
This is a great scatter terrain piece! And its playable! Nicely done.

Love your creativity and I too suffer with miniature realism. You are a good teacher
What a great build! When I saw the PL, I thought what a brave soul! Having been a carpenter all my life.. I know how dangerous a move that is!!

Can’t expect them noblemen to build us our well!
Looks good, great job on creating the well.
Excellent ideas thanks for sharing your great talent
Looks awesome! If you spray the grout with alcohol before the scenic cement the cement will soak in better.
Nice project for beginners 👏👏👏👏
thank you for posting this video because it is really realistic and and helpful for my project :D and we don't need to buy materials

This may sound odd but I've never thought about using natural stuff. I love the voice over and your work.
Thanks very much🙂. And yeah, I’m starting to use more and more natural materials and have been getting really good results.
Awsome, i love both RPG and model trains.

Very Cool Diorama.
Hey buddy, get an Excel #13 blade for cutting small sticks. This thing is vicious! I use it to cut open hotwheels hoods/doors.
I’ll never be able to make amazing stuff like that
