I try using breather caps on both valve covers and it collects too much moisture in the valve covers so I'm going with the PVC to oil moisture separator hopefully that'll cure the problem but beautiful motor you got there those are some crazy looking headers
Man that sounds good, not to mention how clean it is. I like it. That would be enough horsepower for the street. Dont put a turbo on it. I have had about enough of that crap. Anyways, good job man.
@@Stainlessslayer how many leaf springs if any is in the back still? single leafs and 90/10 shocks up front it should be pulling 1 tire atleast, also are u launching on the street or a prepped track? trans brake or foot brake? Lots of factors to take into account.
I was thinking the exact same thing especially since they only took it to 5k. The other dude (383/6.3) shouldn’t comment on things when he has no clue. There is no formula to calculate HP on all engines as all engines are different. Different displacements, numbers of cylinders, direction of rotation, on and on and on. What a JA.
@@bleustalder8717 while there is no formula there are builds where you use the same specs and get close to the same results everytime...big builders do this all the time.
I bet that engine will still scare the … out of you, should you ever get the chance to drive the chariot it’s put in. I’m not talking about straight line stuff either- I’m referring to flattening hills, and straightening curves. Been there, done that!
Awesome sound.
That motor looks and sounds awesome.
Got daum....snappin off like a snare drum cadence, love that sound
Horsepower rated by the tachometer-right there man it hit it again...

From the looks of the headers #4-6,3,5.are running leen.
Those headers are from another engine that was running bad..
That is cool 😎
Sweat….
My favorite engine and modification.
Sweet!!😡🚘
big heads and big cam for 560 out of a 383
One thing the video shows is how much heat is between the center exhaust ports.

right dont put a turbo put a supercharger on it
@@S.T.W.007 Just keep it NA not every engine needs to be boosted ffs
Good enough for the street? It makes more than a 2020 scatpack charger throw it in a gbody or s10 shortbed and do a wheelie lol.
@@squarebodyscottsdale4773 I have a very close setup in an s10, doesn't quite lift both front tires.

Looks like cylinders #3,5,6 are running lean?

how much?????
Is it for sale
Jet Boat Motor ...Just Change the Headers 💥
I am assuming the 560hp is an educated guess since its not on a dyno?
@@threeeightythree6.3l77 incorrect, dyno actually proves HP.

Those headers look like they've been made for a specific application. I wonder what that is. A Gasser maybe, an altered? Hmmmm, intetesting
Looks like a Corvette sidepipe header.
Those are used headers from another engine.
Sounds stout as hell
Will make less hp 8n a street car with exhaust on it.
Bv
Mufflers don't really rob power...it's everything else on the car that does.
BAD ASSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Not so much the exhaust but trans and rear and accessories will rob over 100hp

@@battlestar7779 I dont disagree, 383 strokers are sweet.
Looks like it might fit under the hood of a 70-73 Camaro or an older Corvette
