I really like these type of narrative storytelling videos on anything, especially fast machines. And this is the best one I've seen in a while. Great work!
Wow just when I was beginning to think this channel had packed it's bags and moved to outer Mongolia to start a vegan meditation retreat, a new video drops! Its even more amazing, even funnier and those tiny subliminal please like and subscribe messages had me double tapping the subscribe and bell even though I'm already subscribed!
I did ! But the Mongolians werent really into vegan - go figure, so I had to once again pack and head home 😂 youre the best bandit thanks for sticking around
Personally I hate the new look. Assymetrical bmw were soo cool especially the k1300r. Now all bikes look the same. Yamaha just gave up on coming up with a good headlight section. They screwed a led lamp and hi fived themselves. 🤦🏻♂️
This channel is basically a dopamine injection into my ADHD brain that makes me want to get a bike and quit my job. Looking forward for the next video upload in Q2 2022.
I rarely subscribe to any channel, so ... This is a well made, well edited video, kept chuckling every so often on the humour injected, from the German accented English to BMWs are for old folks/cops to the Ewan McGregor clip to the Forest Whitaker comparison. Well done!
Bought a 2020 bmw s1000rr M. As a stock bike it's kinda boring. After modding it to stage 2 with Bren Tuning, it's an absolute animal and amazing in every way possible.
BMW/Triumph/Kawasaki tech here... also own an S1000RR and a handful of other bikes you mention. First video I've seen, laughed all through breakfast, you have earned a sub, sir! Awesome content!
Haha loved it! I got hooked from the Ducati video I have been eagerly waiting for another! You do not disappoint dear Sir, well done, well done! Superb content and hilarious haha cheers mate! Yes yes plz keep them coming..we will be here...waiting... patiently..very patiently haha ta ta
Up to 2018, it sounds almost exactly like the story of the R35 GTR. revolutionary when it came out, but sat on its laurels for a few too many years as the competition caught up, getting more expensive as it went and going from supercar eater to supercar to be eaten.
So, so good! There are so many things I live about this vid! And it's given me an hitherto unfelt (and therefore weird af) sense of cultural pride, hearing your good pronounciation of se Djörmen - ironic or not. Keep it up!
Pretty nice video. I have been with the BMW RR since 2015. I own all the years of S1000RR K46 10/11 , 12-14 , 15/16 , 17-19 ( USA ) , K67 20/21 ( USA ) , K66 M1000RR 21
Great video. You are actually the first one that I watched to mention the fact that S1000R is copied from a Gixxer K5. Any way they still suck in super bike.... And they started installing cheap brakes on the new model....no more Brembo, now it's M Power... hmmmmm😒
I feel old now. When I was a kid (in the eighties) police bikes were either Nortons or BMWs. I even had posters on my wall of the K1 and the Z1, because they looked futuristic. 😂
Let's face it, the Z1 aged muuuuu(how much time do you have)uuuuuch better than the K1... Other than the forks which by today's standards look like tooth picks they're so skinny, the Z1 is still 🔥
IIRC Langen Motorcycles is working on a modern 2 stroke ? don't know much about it but to my knowledge they looked pretty serious about bringing it to market. We desperately need more variety in bike offering so deffo wish them luck
@@UrgetoRide No simply because they burn more oil than their 4 stroke counterparts, meaning more hydrocarbons in the emissions leading to them not passing EU5 and have a significantly worse powerband. Outside of super light weight applications like extreme MX, say Erzberg Rodeo, where riders have to be able to carry their bike up some ascents, there is no point to two stroke
@@UrgetoRide Me too. I rode 2-stroke trail bikes and they a beast. Heard rumons about F1 adopting 2-strokes too, Ferrari had their F134 prototype, there are hi-end supersport 2-strokers around. If they figure out the cavitation at the exaust, fuel management, power band and lubrification it would be a great complement, not suplement with the brother 2-stroke. Most of all.... a lot of power.
Nearly everyone I know in local racing run the R1 for its meatier power band and superior drive off corners. ASBK, WSBK, BSB AMA…. Not many BMW’s I see dominating… Ita a great bike, but pretty much all new 1000cc sports bikes are these days. Its a far stretch to claim the BMW currently dominates???
Brilliant video. Your editing is funny and entertaining as hell. I didn't know BMW had failed at winning any SBK championships with such an amazing bike.
For those that want to know. In the original airing episode of "90210".... there is a BMW K1. (If I remember correctly, Brandon is picked up on it, by an "older" 20 something female rider.) I think I was 16, or 17, and had a Yamaha DT 50... so the K1 was a future sport of tech, and be all end all. Cough cough..wheeze..
I really enjoyed that! Great review on the history of the bike. I’ve seen some reviews on the 900 bikes and people are selling them because they just don’t like them. I wonder about the quality of the lower priced bikes?
A good video. Very good. But those old airhead BMW twins were quite nice machines and could be hustled along. The R90S almost invented the long-distance GT. The R100RS somehow kept that ball rolling. And (some will disagree) the K75 was not a bad sports bike. On the highway, not the track. It was a superior machine to the K100 and all the 4-cylinder variants. On a twisty highway it kept up with almost anything. A lot of your BMW stereotyping is accurate, but some is a bit wide of the mark. I write as one who never owned a BMW and never loved them, but rode quite a few and liked them a lot. Good video anyway...
Nice work... I couldn't care less about owning a superbike(not that I'd mind taking one for a ride... in the same way I wouldn't mind taking that supermodel for a ride) but you kept me until the end, along with the two other viewers. 😐
follow me on instagram for feet pics @urgetorideig 👌

I follow you now also on Instagram...

The S1000RR is just a Japanese K5 1000 bike dressed in a fancy suite 😊😂 i want one and i own a gxxxr
04:50 Aerodynamics of a cow 🤣🤣 I fell of my seat

I can't understand why this channel isn't more liked by "the algorithm". This is excellent content!
Always love your work! Never really cared about the 1000RR, but I still watched and loved your video! Thanks!

It's bonkers how it's consistently rated as the best Superbike to buy, but they still can't win anything in WSBK.
You should watch MotoAmerica, Cameron Beubier (however you spell his last name lol) he’s kicking ass on that new 23’ M1000RR
hey man, appreciate the huge amount of work that went into this video. Hope the channel explodes, as it sure deserves it. Keep up the good work!
Your videos are soooooo good how doesn’t this get more views? Keep the good work 🙌👌🏻
“Just like me with this RUclips thing”😂 okay that said, this was an amazing rrrrrr docuvid👍 Thank you👏

Informative, humorous and a well crafted video too. Explains why it’s been ages since your last posting. Keep them coming👍👍
very interesting continue you are the best
Wow, this really is a great video. Really enjoyed as one of 2021 S1000RR owners. BTW, I am one of those older guys at 50 years old.😉 Cheers

..Just remembered my first awareness of the BMW S1000RR (K46) was their engine.. in a 2008 Yamaha R6. Grrr

Bro please keep up the videos and I know your channel will explode
Amazing video as usual. Bravo
great bmw history video out there ..
13:32 has earned you a sub. I don't own an S1000RR, but that's the same story on all literbikes really, isn't it? 😅

Do you guys think 2-strokes have a place in today or future?
I owned one at the time, and would like to have a modern version being built.
no

Video on the K100 series please
The front looks like a predator. The only bike imo to rival the legacy of the GSXR
Great video!

What about the boxer Cup bikes?
