    • @Banditmanuk
      @Banditmanuk 3 года назад +2

      @@UrgetoRide No problem sticking with your channel Al, genuinely think you will make a huge success of it, we are just playing at it. The honest answer about the two Yams is I love the look and the thought of owning the Tenere. If I was your age again that would be the bike for me. I would be planning dirt trails and thinking about taking 6 months out to ride around the world. (A friend has just done that on a Honda CB500X).
      As an overweight 56 year old now I would take the Tracer as I just think my future adventures remain on paved roads and that is the bike to have on tarmac.

    I don't usually go for cute distractions, but damn, you do them and much else very well and all non-annoyingly. I howled several times and could guess at all the research, fiddly work, thought and editing sweat put in. Here's to you seizing your dreams with this, amigo. There's a market for it. Lots of dull and less deep offerings out there to beat out, and you have a presenter's charisma.

    Not only it was fun to watch, and I do like your style, but it is by far the most packed with background information about the Tenere, it's history and former and current development. I have owned the 89' XT600 (made for California market, so basically the European 43F model), added 22 l Acerbis to it, have had a blast for 10 years with it, sold it, got into motorcycle hibernation, then got myself two Teneres (1VJ and 3AJ), considered buying new Tenere 700 but recently went for used GS 1150 just for sake of two up touring (but I am working on my 3AJ to get it back to the roud though)...so yes, I know a bit about Teneres...and can confirm that you did not miss a bit in this great presentation. Subscribed, and I'll share this video massively even to people who do not own or even ride motorcycles :-)

    As a previous xt350 owner . I was hoping for a variation of the xtz660 to be a xt600 twin . But 700 will do. But they didn't start as nothing.. they were a tuning company making pianos.....
    Piano playing in background ...lol

    Great video man! Educative and funny at the same time with great editing, my compliments. Also the story behind the T7, now it makes it even more special. Thanks for the vid.

    Lol Just watched this and thoroughly enjoyed it! And my lol is for the fact that as I was scrolling through the comments after watching the entire vid and I saw that I apparently commented on this vid 11 months ago. Now this vid is not forgettable its just that I have a disturbingly poor memory lol. I do have to concur with my comment 11 months ago though. Awesome Vid👍👍👍

    That was really a great moment to see your video and how you exposed the true history of the Yamaha brand in France and how the tenere came to true !! This is a brillant video. I liked a lot the beautiful tribute to Jean-Claude Olivier, a big piece of motorbike history in the Yamaha world and competition. Your french accent is also incredible true ! Many many thanks for this fantastic video !

      Hahaha thanks for the kinds words :) JCO doesn't get enough credit for all he's done to Yamah as a brand, I hope this video, even in its limited capacity, will help address that

    Great great history lesson on not only the Tenere but on Yamaha also. I absolutely eat up videos like this and appreciate the work you put in to this. BTW... I think the T7 is going to go down as one for history books in motorcycling. Keep up the good work. 🤙🤙🤙

    Well, my urge to sleep just turned to dust straight from Tenere.... I would like to see something about yours XSR, or MT09 or MT10 or SCR950 or... Damn Yamaha is making a lot of cool bikes :D

    You are by far one of the funniest and entertaining upcomming motorcycle channels it was an instant sub from me and i am going to watch all of you vids in the future i was a bit dissapointed when you were talking about de 2008 xt 660 z tenere because it was actually a legend of a bike who is bulletproof AF (and i ride one) but i was looking to buy a ktm for a "bit more power" or in ktm proportions a sh*tload of more power but after watching this piece of refined art of a youtube vid boiiiiii its a t7 for me!

      @Kattrap Cheers:) I meant scrambler - Not Super Motard - Good idea though having two sets of wheels, saves having to change rubber, every time you want to go off-road - just switch the wheels out. I used to do it semi-regularly with my 426. :)
