Overall great looking bike, but I’ll miss those signature “shark gill” side vents 😢 I always felt they were visually aggressive and along with the squinty eye of the previous iterations, really made the bike stand out.
Moreover while looking spiffy I really don't understand the practical point of fitting winglets to a production bike for the road. Especially when considering any accidental drop is guaranteed for them to snap off leaving an asymmetrical mess.
Bmw is more comfortable, more usable for daily ride or long rides, better engineered and the overall quality is better so far on BMW motorbikes. And has a fuel gauge!!! :)
@@SuperMKi1 Different strokes. I think if it really came down to it I'd have Speed Triple RR. But for me the Ducati is less desirable than the BMW, I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with that.
Love the new design. I hope the feature for 100% connectivity in pro modes becomes an update on the previous model. Btw 22 mineral grey is still the best out there 😉

The 2023 is def a work of art . I do miss the pitch fork like rear and the asymmetrical headlight . Perhaps they could find a way to put a new version of these on in the future.
The S1000RR has never looked better imo. I especially love the revised, minimal tail with it’s aggressive rake and enhanced clearance. It has always had the best instrument display in the business. Edit : I’m glad that they employed the use of English captions to translate the English speaking narrator. 🙄

Each part of s1009RR impressed me, ispecially the aggresive hed light, it's smooth Excelaration and it's beautiful meter consol this is one of the best good looking bike in the world to me.😊
If anyone thinks the winglets don't work - go ride a current M. They absolutely make a difference anywhere above about 80-90kmh even in a road situation, straights, cornering. It's like having someone quietly & gently pressing down and adding stability the faster you go. It was an odd experience on my M setting up sag manually having to factor the additional growing downforce that grows with speed. But yep, I'm sold on winglets. I do (honestly) miss the mad looking 2012 era weirdo eyes on the front. They were an instant design quirk - but they we endearing. I'd love top see a modern rendition of them. I think this bike is a nice leap forwards (again...)
What is the 2023 ride height, and is it adjustable from the factory? The 2020 bike is very difficult to lower, requires aftermarket lowering links, and cutting and relocation of electronics is required for install. All bike should be 31 in from the factory, or adjustable to 31 in

Great looking bike, but a bit to extreme for me. Went from K1200S to K1600GT a few years ago, but would consider going back if K1300S was still in production.
Wow. Great design Matthias Kottman. Now, for the engine. The 2021 had a flat spot 6-9Rpm range. After a "Brentuning" and "velocity stacks" the engine seemed to open up and run faster with no flat spots. Can the new bike come from the factory without a flat spot?
My buddy keeps ranking on me for having the flared fairings on my 2022 Aprilia RSV4 but all of the new superbikes do this now and I find it not only functional but also aesthetic
Stunning looking machine, not 100% sure about the winglets though! Are they removable and if so, will they leave holes in the fairings? I’m due to update my S1000rr next year but prefer not to have the winglets.

But it is really not though. You can get a Ducati Panigale for insignificantly more money, probably about as much as buying the M package on top.
