In general, no, there are not manual techniques performed to the shaft of the penis. Any pelvic floor physical therapist that specializes in males should be able to address this issue.
Can you give me advice what to say to the specialist (appointment on the 1st may) and I'm worried he won't take me serious! I had gangrene in my perineum and I'm getting all the symptoms of hfs plus they don't know what's caused it and I'm at the end of my tether! Been in pain nonstop since I was 14-15 and I'll be 36 next month

Yes, the patient is undressed from the waist down. However we use a drape to cover the patient. We do our best to only expose the tissue we are addressing with manual therapy and cover the rest of the body. The patient's genitals are covered with the drape virtually for the entirety of the treatment.

However, in the off chance that a patient does get an erection, the therapist usually steps out of the room for a few minutes to give the patient some privacy, and then the therapist returns to the treatment room to continue the treatment.
