Your play call at 3:25 left in the third when Lamar got sacked is a good point but to be fair to Lamar if he had tried to throw that ball the defender would have slapped at his arm or the ball and that could have caused a fumble… that is way worse than taking a sack.
I agree that the Ravens were managing the clock like they had a big lead. There is no reason to burn 30 seconds every play if you are down by a touchdown and a field goal…
To be fair, being used to leading by 10 for the last 30 games in a row would make you think it is best to play the way that got ya there so just play your style… this is what is different about the chiefs coaches. They play chess. The chiefs play regular all season but practice for the playoffs. When they get you in a playoff game they all (players and coaches) do what they have prepared all regular season to do. It’s been a different team in the playoffs for the last half a decade. Am I the only one who sees the chess game?

I believe it’s the Chiefs fault the Ravens lost. They were just in the Zone and they made the ravens plays feel like they should keep working but tha chiefs keep adjusting. I was seeing an adjustment or three every quarter. Spagnuolo is a genius and Andy Reid is the best coach I have ever seen. Hall of famer

my take on the game is coaches hit panic button when Chiefs scored those two early TDs. Running the ball 6 times pretty much tells that story. Another factor was losing their composure with all the really stupid penalties. KC with Reid calling the plays schooled the Ravens on what it takes to not only win games but more importantly championships.
Lamar is one dimensional after you shutdown the run he can't beat top teir defenses passing he isn't good enough passing.
Or maybe the Chiefs just exposed them for not being legendary.
Nah this Ravens team was legendary, which makes the Chiefs win that much more impressive

Well let’s give the chiefs credit. They just know how to win and they have a habit of making really good teams look mediocre in the playoffs. They also know how to get into the opposing teams heads. Kelce did it early and often. Yes the Ravens looked bad but it’s more because the chiefs made them look that way. The chiefs game plan better than any team I’ve seen since the Brady Patriots.

Old guy here. Lamar is a decent QB, not a great one. Very good running QB, but he’s just not very polished in the pocket. I would say he’s just an average pocket QB. It seems like he’s got a great arm, but not very accurate. Plus the ravens were terribly undisciplined with all the unsportsmanlike personal fouls and dirty hits. I don’t like them for that reason.
Ravens were that team all season, because they hadn’t played the Chiefs yet. And found out in the playoffs why they still aren’t that team.
Lamar chokes in the playoffs, he always has.

I put the blame solely on Lamar. Use your god given talent and run first, pass last. Use the run to set up the pass. Not use the pass to set up the run. Championship QB is not in Lamar’s DNA

Why was the word "LEGENDARY" added into the title for this video? No one on the face of the earth with a functioning brain believes the Baltimore Ravens are legendary. It can be correctly argued that the Kansas City Chiefs are legendary now after repeating as Super Bowl champions.
