I’ve watched MENA a bit, but after watching NA all weekend, I forgot how damn fast these guys are. Going to be interesting to see them play against the top NA teams.
It is not lol , literally all 3 member of the top 4 Mena team could hit solo plays on the NA teams, in NA only Nass , Daniel and FK canv, that is the diffrence but team synergy is a different thing , Mena just has the most mechy players but their team synergy is the reason why they don't rule globally@@stevena55

The gameplay is so much easier to follow from one perceptive rather than constantly changing, wonder if anybody agrees that there should be slightly less cuts on the broadcasts?
I agree, but not everyone wants to see the same player for a long time. Also, things can happen fast if the camera doesn't keep changing to the player with the ball.
My boy Khalid played incredible the whole tournament but he had a rough series in this grand finals. His mechs this tournament looked smooth and he was a great playmaker with some of the cleanest passing I've ever seen. He was playing speedy at times and slowing it down in front of the opponents box. Here the Falcons were just all over them with speed and Khalid reverted back to that 3rd man style he played last year. I believe in the bounce back tho this series was closer than it appeared.
The thing with khalid is that he either plays phenomenal or dogsh*t. There's no in between lol. (Him playing dogsh*t is still better than any of us though💀)

This new Falcons roster has more youth and more balance with RW9 and Killerez added to the team I think it will help with more offense and defense. With Trk, I think it can propel them forward. Only time will tell! Can't wait to see this new Falcons roster play in majors and worlds! With Rule One, it is basically Falcons without Trk, but I think they will perform worse (no bad intentions just a prediction could be right or wrong) because they don't have Trk and the rumors about Nwpo's personal troubles. In addition, they seem more stuffy and suppressed by the more fast and more reactive Falcons roster. Anyway, these teams are both crazy good, and it's good that MENA has 2 spots so these teams can participate!
It's way too early to put any sam or mena team near eu or na imo. The speed they have is incredible, but playing faster isn't an automatic win condition ( both eu and na are capable of doing the same, but there's a lot more slow play from those regions as well) However falcons look insane and have high potential, and complexity look like no slouches either. Rule one look like a clear 2nd place mena team, but I can't see them going far at all unless I see more from the veteran duo. A lot of their offense lives by nwpo

I feel bad for Nwpo. He's definitely the best player in Mena, but his mates are veterans now. If Mena really wanted a chance to win worlds, they would probably have to mix nwpo with trk or the twins
Its not about how veterans, ahmad n okhalid is, its showed that theyre not trying that much for improovement compare to falcon. Their skill gaps is really showed here.

I'd anticipate Rule One to start edging them out if Nwpo and Ahmad can pop off simultaneously. But Falcons will hold the edge for majors, as the defensive style is more viable to make deep LAN runs
Still the biggest issue for Falcons and I've been saying this since the beginning... they do not follow eachother up on plays, and they do not use their teammates at all for passing or anything. Biggest difference you see from a real team playing at this level like Rule One, their chemistry is unmatched. Falcons still have a long way to go until they figure it out.

Khalid is too passive imo doesn’t take the ball out of defence as confidently as Ahmad or nwpo and always seems to go for safe plays, rule 1 will forever be on the back foot when they play falcons if that remains the case

You can definitely see it taking a toll on him. In the last 2 minutes when he was getting starved, he could only make a play on the ball when he had >40-50 boost. Only 4 plays (or touches) came from him being under 40 boost, and one of them was an unintentional pinch from rw9 or trk into him. And, once he did get the big boost, he immediately scored.

I think the problem is more to do with consistency. G2 (V1) won a regional last season as well in dominating fashion, but then got 9-12th in the other two. Nobody is doubting their peak, but all 3 players are known for being extremely inconsistent. And on paper, GenG are simply the better team.

Ridiculously close games. Okhalid's new team looks like they're still figuring some things out but I'm stoked to see how they progress this season
