- I've always wanted to play a pro from RLCS season 1 and compare myself against them. So, that's exactly what I did. I recreated a 1v1 between every pro from each RLCS season to see what it was like.

@@mopedout maybe but you only saw a small portion of that game. I watched a number of matches from season 1 of rlcs as well as a 1s tournament he took part in around the same time before I played against striped and I was surprised how many mistakes pros made in season 1. I had a list of things I shouldn't do because they wouldn't have been done back then so I had to break some of my habits. Striped was happy with what I had done and I even watched another 1s game after we recorded and I was pretty happy with how my performance matched what I was watching

deevo and kronovi both could aerial pretty well, kronovi was one of the better aerial players in season 1, and then deevo was hiting double taps in season 3-5.. little confused on how they tried to imitate the pros.
Keep in mind you're only seeing a very small snippet of the match, I can't speak for the other participants but I watched a number of rlcs matches from season 1 as well as a 1s tournament Kronovi took part in around the same sort of time. Aerials were few and far between and the accuracy of them was not what you'd expect. The mistakes I made weren't far from what I had watched and I watched another 1s game afterwards and there wasn't a massive difference. I also had a list of things to avoid as they weren't happening in the pro scene at the time so I was fighting back a number of my usual habits

Yeah this video isnt very accurate to the beginning esport seasons of RL, which made this video not as good as it coulda been. JSTN would beat TODAY champ 2-gc1 players, from back then.

That’s in game hours. So it’s just the hours you was in a match. But training and private match are not counted in ur profile. And u can see ur real hour if u were in steam
