7:45 YES!! Freestyling makes the game way more enjoyable! Being able to do whatever you want in the air gives so much joy like literally!!! I still can't figure out how on earth some ppl stick to this game for like 2k hours and all they care about is basic rotation and shooting (every tutorial says its the best way to rank up, but the gamestyle is soo fknn boringggg) Rly cool u tried this challenge than 👍
Felt! Some days i focus on ground play and rotation and stuff, and i chill on mechs. Usually i win more when i do that. Most days i like to go hard though lol. It's just a blast, and i don't usually care about ranking up. I wish someone big would make a "how to have more fun in rocket league" video bc there are way too many how to rank up vids.
Exactly man, sweating and doing comp is boring. Its time to have fun!! And yeah basic mechs suck, i hate when i get those opponents that have dog water mechs, and score cheap ah goals. I wantt to be able to do anything i want in the air confidently, and have the most fun learning. Thanovic is the best RL RUclipsr because hes realistic and fun, EVERYONE SUB!!!
everyones different bro I do both I wanna have good mechs and good rotation and shooting while ranking up to high ranks in the long term. Just doing mechs won't get you to GC
i decided to practise air rolling or to be precise the lack of air rolling, ive been an avid air roll left holder for years now, but now ive gotten better at tapping air roll left and right instead of holding and spinning like a car wizard, LESS IS MORE when it comes to air roll unless you're zen, nwpo, u know the best of the best with crisp clean mechanics, so after i got used to less air roll more straight air dribbles, i improved alot, now i can properly reset, double reset, do the zen double tap off the ceiling, i feel like a new player, remember this, less air roll is just more control, i also learned to boost less, keep my feathering to a maximum, if you want to become more a well rounded player, learn to control your car with the ball.
yoo i saw you reacting to a clip asking "how do you get your frames that smooth"? But now your own gameplay looks smooth the exact same way, did you change anything to achieve this? Or how do you get it like that? ty ^^
I can attest to this video, I wasn't insane at my mechics but I was good enough to get to GC 3 in 2s and SSL in 1s, but I quit ranked and just had fun and freestyle on an alt account and when I came back onto my main I had improved SO MUCH as my gamesense was still there, I could now just consistently do the things I envisioned.
I've always struggled with mechanics because after all these years training got boring and against people my skill i had a hard time learning. A friend started the game so we only played casual with people between his and my skill level. Since then I'm way more mechanical and can also clip against gc's. Sometimes it's really good to play in a less serious setting for some time to get better.
I am gc2 and genuinely feel behind with aerialing. I have tried leth's rings map and air dribble map but I just cant get the hang of consistent aerial control and literally feel like I can't get any better and know it's what's holding me back...
with rings maps you just have find that certain "Line" idk how to describe it but you can almost feel where it is but once you find it you then just have to focus on momentum and prepare for the next 2-3 rings ahead of your current spot thats where the focus on momentum comes into play if you can find the sweet spot that prepares you for the next few rings it will definitely help
When I got bored with rocket league I switched to squared dead zone and started freestyling. We all suck at first but its fun after u have the muscle memory down and it all starts to become easier and much more fun!
@@RogerH_CxP ah ok thanks i mean i knew that it had like adaptive triggers and stuff but k didnt know it had something to do with the name kinda knew to PlayStation stuff cause i just got the controller cause my xbox one broke
Musty side wall double . That was my basic advance mechs . And then there are people like me that a single.flip reset is the best shot i can hit in freestyle. Wow

@Light_freestyl well if you can do all those mechanics consistently then it's probably your game sense and rotations. You should prob look up videos for them. If you knew all these mechanics and have decent game sense you will have 0 problems reaching champ. For me my gameplay is almost purely game sense because I can't do mechanics so I gotta make it up by knowing how to controll the ground better. If you have problems of knowing when to challenge the ball you will need to work on that aswell. Sorry if I explained it weird Forgot to add this but obviously recovering is a giant part of 1s that needs to be almost perfect in my opinion
you can get a higher rank with or without mechanics. Its just a matter of being able to use them enough and having enough control with them to shoot where the opponent isnt (the flip resets and the musty should be g for this)
Rocket league is most fun when you don’t give two shits about your rank and your just going for cool shit and having fun while improving which is also less addictive
