Quite an interesting way to look at it. I've had the privilege to learn quite a lot from your conversations and this just gives me a conviction to want to dive into the scriptures & did these for myself
I love y'all brothers! Teach me to number my days, Reminds me of Paul when he says "to life is Christ and to die is gain! To be with Christ is far better." I need this regular practice to remind myself in good times in this life or bad times. There will be a day when I will die and when I resurrect and all these pleasures and sufferings that come on this Earth will not compare to the pleasures and joy i'll experience when I'm with my Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God! Continue to be faithful!
The apex or climax of the demonic is not the overtly explicit Lil Nas X’s of the world, but rather, it is the “Pastor” in the Pulpit using God's gifts to glorify himself.

Hey brothers I thought about the way you two introduce each other before every episode . In the perspective that women were created to be helpmates to men makes me think “what if I start talking to my sons the way you two introduce each other?” “what if wives start addressing their husbands this way ?“. How powerful that would be ! Thanks for encouraging each other the way you do.
I honestly wasn't phased with music video I still haven't watched it cus nothing is new under the sun but the shoes made me a bit way more uncomfortable. And this wasn't helping cus I was getting into all this illuminati and freemason stuff and the "symbols" and it gave me a lot of anxiety. Thank you guys for this episode I needed it.
Thank you KB and Ameen, this was an excellent episode! I really needed to be reminded of death and the fact that the devil’s goal is to distract me from the light of the gospel.
I love everything that’s being said. Don’t clean out the symbols that represent darkness and the demonic while you’re daily walk is so far from the teaching of the Gospel. If I may add, we shouldn’t knowingly use or embrace symbols used in the occult at least for the sake of conscious.
I think you guys should address this: The High Point Police Department is asking the community for information in connection to a deadly shooting Tuesday. Police said 25-year-old Robert Booth was shot around 8:30 p.m. outside his home on Ardale Drive. First responders attempted lifesaving measures and transported Booth to the hospital, where he later died. Advertisement Investigators have not been able to find or apprehend the suspects in the shooting, so now they're turning to the community. Officers, along with members of the group High Point Community Against Violence, canvassed the East Village Apartment Condominiums Friday morning, handing out flyers and talking to neighbors. "We put the information in their hands so they can see and read what we're talking about," said Lt. Matt Truitt. "Some people didn't even know that it happened." Those that did know Booth are living through the grief of losing him, including his fellowship. Booth had been ordained as a pastor just days before his death by Bishop Kerry Thomas. "The streets were Robert's pulpit," Thomas said. "Just the very fabric of who he was, outside of him being a pastor, outside of him being clergy, he was just a good human being." Thomas said Booth's ministry was unique, in the way he could strike up a conversation with anyone, no matter their background. When he heard Booth might've been doing just that, talking with the suspects about God, he said he wasn't surprised. www.wxii12.com/article/high-point-police-canvass-for-information-on-local-pastor-s-murder/36571457

Great show, as always! Also a great explanation on what is important to God and what's important to us. Also really appreciate that you take the time to explain why you make certain choices (the skull for example). Wondering though what do you guys think about the remaining text at 1 corinthians 8. You read untill verse 6, but verse 7 till 13 is about not eating because it could be sinning against the conscience of one of your brothers : However, not all possess this knowledge. But some, athrough former association with idols, eat food as really offered to an idol, and btheir conscience, being weak, is defiled. 8 cFood will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do. 9 But take care dthat this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block eto the weak. 10 For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating3 in an idol’s temple, will he not be encouraged,4 if his conscience is weak, to eat food offered to idols? 11 And so by your knowledge this weak person is fdestroyed, the brother for whom Christ died. 12 Thus, sinning against your brothers5 and gwounding their conscience when it is weak, hyou sin against Christ. 13 Therefore, iif food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble. Not calling you out or something, but just curious about your opinion on these remaining verses.

@@SouthsideRabbi A lot of early 90's black metal bands like Mayhem, Gorgoroth, Burzum etc were involved in church burning, goat sacrifices on stage, church burnings in Norway, shooting fellow band members in the head and using their skull as necklaces etc. Early black metal (especially in the early 90s) was basically a genre based on Satanism and explicitly anti-christian and even Nazi themes
I like the word usage of “superstition” here. The way the culture, especially in the US, views things is very superstitiously, but also very literally and outwardly. Somehow having “Merry Christmas” or not on a cup indicates that Starbucks’ CEO is closer to or farther away from God? If taking away the Merry Christmas words from the Starbucks cup implies God is far from it, does writing it in the cups imply God is closer? No. We see literalism everywhere. The crosses, the skulls, the cups, and even non-religious symbols like the US flag. The flag has no inherent meaning. It’s just cloth. The pledge of allegiance says that we are pledging allegiance to the flag AND to the republic it represents; a republic that is supposed to be one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. People get mad when athletes kneel during the anthem because it “disrespects the flag.” Well if the flag is upset, it’ll tell you. The flag REPRESENTS something that is not currently what it was in theory. We are not a nation under God, we are not divisible, and we do not have liberty and justice for all. Those who kneel understand that it isn’t about the flag, but what the flag is supposed to represent, and that it isn’t a reality. Get mad that Starbucks took Merry Christmas off the cups. You should be more motivated to share the gospel because people who don’t celebrate Christmas don’t know Christ!
