Very Interesting! I agree the CCC is kinda of one trick pony and I like the way the tourney has played out. Very Impressed with what Capital One has done in the last couple of years of just having a great duo that is basically AF neutral and full of easy to use benefits. Chase and Amex need to step it up
Savorone is goated imo. 10x on Uber covers *all* of Uber. Transportation, food, groceries, all of it gets the Uber 10x. I know the vx is the “sexier” card, but I just don’t know how it can match up with the savorone. In the C1 duo, the S1 is your daily driver, and the vx lets you transfer. While I think the vx takes it, on pure power alone s1 is king in my eyes.
It's a good card that would get more love if it was a chase/amex/citi card... that said, I'm still shocked at the upset
It’s got Food covered and other benefits. Just wish they had gas in there, but i guess you can’t have all three in one card. Definitely the strongest duo setup regardless

Savor one is a Great card. But I decided to wait till Nov/Dec 2024 and see what Cap1 does with it, and not waste a 5/24 slot on it.
@@newagain9964 what cards would you be planning to get for 5/24 such that you couldn’t pick up the savorone? There’s enough room to pick up the chase trifecta and c1 duo as cards 1-5.

Need an NIT series covering the best affiliated cards for head to head matchup between hotels and between airlines.
Citi Custom Cash is my go to card and favorite. Was mad that it got knocked out. After much thought I actually agree that the Capital One Savor is a better card 3% on multiple categories and 10% on Uber/Eats. Also monthly Uber One membership credit, so keeps it active without doing nothing. Both cards are my go to right now.
I have two of them myself. Shocked it got upset
@@RJFinancial I myself have 3 of them and was going to convert my premier to a 4th custom cash, but didn't because they offered me a retention offer. If I could do it again, I would have just product changed. In my opinion the custom cash has taken customers from Discover and Chase because of not having to category activation.

Ryan, I would like to see the concept of the tournament and regions expanded. For example, on travel a hotel card region, two general travel card regions, and airline card region. on cash back: Grocery, dining, gas, general. Would also be great if you could capture data points like if the voter has either or both cards in a match-up and why the voter chose.
We could do 4 regions, it's more about fitting it all in and holding interest. That's my concern. Could always add more questions but we don't get that many votes compared to views as is, so I don't want to burden those that do vote with more questions. I do like the idea of knowing the demographics tho
@@RJFinancial Yeah, I am curious if sometimes a card is chosen but voter would never own. I will say your tournament seemed to be revealing. CO has a lot of value in those cards. Chase should take a lesson IMO they appear to be resting on laurels

Every year this tournament rocks always impressive what cards make it and don’t make it. I love this I do hope it gets expended next year to include maybe other cards. I like that you did a cash back and a travel region. This has been fun to see what cards make it and what not. I can’t wait for the final show and the live stream. RJ the man of the people.
Ah people are really gonna push me to do 4 full regions lol. Timing and holding interest is the key concern but we may be able to pull it off

There is not a card on the market that covers more than the Savor or Savor One. If you are out and about or cooking and having netflix and chill it covers you. I carry it right along with my AMEX Gold, and it won't leave my wallet. I also gave the Altitude Go and it cant touch the Savor. Im hoping the uber one membership stays, at least for the $95 AF version that I have.
It's more like where did this resurgence come from? It's not a new card but this is the first year that it's been this popular

@@newagain9964 I have AR since 2017, when it was launched. There was not a single devaluation, only improvements, and the CS of AR is top notch. You get live person right away. And it's much better servicer than sh!tty Cap1.

Come on,you realy think a card with 1 5% category with a 500 cap is better than a 3% multi category card? There's no math calculation where that's better,i even showed you that a regular 2% card is better,it shouldn't even have made it that far😂
I think it depends on who you are and how you vote. Custom Cash strength is it can be whatever yo want it to be (I have two of them). For those with many cards, this is great. If you only have/want a few cards then sure, Savor all day
@RJFinancial yes, but your competition is a 1v1 and not a 1v5 card setup,so you have to look at if you only have 1 card
