The long exposure of the boathouse was extremely nice. I also really liked the interior of the cave while looking outside at the view. But what I liked most of all was your technique of fading yourself out of both the video and audio while explaining something. It gave me a chuckle and I think it’s a brilliant move on your part in creating something a little different and interesting in your videos. Well done!
Think Nikon should give you that z8 either free or at a big reduction... You and your photos would be a fine ambassador for the brand 👍 great photos and great video!
Wow you got some very magical shots on this day🤩 I love the reflections on the water with the misty background, just brilliant. The filming conditions were just incredible and made for some of the most beautiful images.
Enjoyed the video as usual Gary. Looks like you had a brilliant day with the conditions. Absolutely stunning image's mate. Look forward to seeing the next one.
Good to see you covering the honeypot location. I love the Elterwater area; the walk up river from the falls is just a lovely walk. And rarely that busy, given its closeness to Windermere. Keep up the excellent vlogs.
A different, or new tripod Mr Gough. A MeFoto possibly. Looking trim today. Are you converting to the darkside!!!!! Gerr great images taboot. One of your fellower youtubers favorites locations, "Sithee".
It's hard to say from where I'm sitting, but where you were at around 4:00 looked like it might have made a good composition too, with the path leading through those trees. The poo on the path might spoil it a bit though.
Great video , loved the way the video and sound peters off when talking about HDR 😂 Place I've never been but cracking video and images as always. Love the cave shot.
Hi Gary, a magificent vlog with some epic landscape images taken. What a beautiful place to visit. I've been offline for awhile and was surprised when I saw you using the Nikon Z8. Have you switched to Nikon from Canon, or just trialling it? Once again great vlog and loved all of your images. Geoff (St Helens, Tasmania).
Hello Gary I have just viewed your fantastic Holy island, And I find it great, you said you have visited once before but I think you have missed a chance on opposite side of the Castle, Where there is a great view looking back to the castle, at sunset, if you drive into the village there is a narrow road leading around the castle to were you can park, check on Google, regards Tony.
As a Nikon user very interested to see how a 'Canon Fan-Boy' get's on with the Z8! The Elter Water shots answer that question! Never knew about the cave at Rydal Water?
Some great shots again Gary, loved the fog effect in the early shots and the colours in the cave shot. You mentioned the critique shot last month. I seem to have missed these recently. When is the next one please.
Very nice images Gary. As I use Z8's I am interested in why you were using ISO 100 as the native ISO on the Z8 is 64. Not that noise will be an issue between the two but just wondered if there was a particular reason? Another, great video though.
Great shots yet again wouldn’t expect anything else, I just hope you were polite to the coach load of visitors 🙈 Always someone around popular locations to give you a headache when your trying to get the shot 😔
Gary You have numerous videos telling us why your Canon 50meg is the dogs bollox then go and spend the best part of nearly £4k on Nikon. What does your accountant say?
Hi Gary lovely views and some great images of the Lake District beautiful conditions. Have a great week. Looking forward to the next video 😊👍📸
You're right. Those first photos of the morning are just brilliant! Thanks for sharing Gary, see you soon!
What a lovely film from an incredible location, wonderful images Matey, even the less than ideal conditions couldn't keep the man down, well done sir!
class images , great effort travelling that length of time esp on your anniversary, congratulations to you both 🍾🥂
I think Gary needs to have some merch with "look at that"! Written on it. He says it in every video lol. Great pictures as always.

Absolutely lovely! I have been to Rydal water but did not know that there was a cave. Must go back!

One of my favourite areas if rhs Lakes for misty moody mornings. I love that island of treen on the mound, they just stand out so well.

Have you been to 'Slater's Bridge' - 'Cathedral Cave' - 'Loughrigg Tarn' or in Borrowdale 'Ashness Bridge' - 'Surprise View' and Watendlath?
Been there but thanks for the suggestions 👍👍
@@GaryGough Amazed that you had not been to the Brathay Walk and Rydal Cave really.

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the Z8, I'm toying with getting one, currently have the EOS 5D mkiv.
Hi Gary , I must have missed something here , have you jumped ship the Nikon from your trusty Canon ?
Great shots yet again wouldn’t expect anything else, I just hope you were polite to the coach load of visitors 🙈

GG with a Nikon 😂😂😂
