It was always gratifying to listen to the great Jagjit Singh Saab while he was performing live due to his lively interaction with the audience and acute sense of humour ! He had an uncanny ability to catch the imagination of the listeners while performing owing to his majestic voice and unique style of gayiki and carry them along with the rhythm ! Such was the wizardry of this wizard of music ! We owe a lot to this legendary singer for having enthralled us for several decades with soulful music which was very rich in content -- Labz, Sur, Taal and Loy and aesthetic value ! Let us bow our head in reverence to this giant of a singer and noble soul for his impeccable track record and stupendous contributions to the World Of Ghazal Gayiki !
