Yes Shannon the women and men who work for Hospice are truly angels among us! I was the scheduling secretary for 10 years in a Hospice office and those guys never stopped!!!! They worked every day until their patients were settled and would sit with the families as well for as long as the family needed;and they all seemed to have beautiful personalities, some were hilarious, some would tell the best stories, but all were dedicated angels😘 love and prayers to you and your family✌️

I was starting to get worried about you☹️ I need your vids to help me cope with my husband's terminal diagnosis. He was diagnosed with colon stage 4 in march of 2018. ,so about 3 months behind you. You help me be so positive for him and by explaining things,you take the scariness away...you taught us about scream cream! He had it once without and he will never do that again! He is still on folfiri and this recent scan just showed mild progression.we are living everyday to the fullest.God bless you and your family...

Your words really give me strength, you are a joy to watch and yes you keep your videos short and sweet but I love your long ones as well and dont want them to end, but we cant have everything lol. We love you as well and you know already God loves you. He has a plan and knows you are one of his warriors that can handle whatever he puts at your feet. So good to see you. I’ve been thinking about you. I’m glad your pain is being managed well. My brother has stage 4 colorectal cancer and has been very difficult to manage his pain. I just want to thank you for your positivity and for being so encouraging to others who are suffering with this disease. It takes a special person to do that.💜
Hello Shannon, I was worried that you did not post for so long and then you posted again with apparently a lot that happened to you. I am sorry that stivarga did not work the way we were hoping. Still it is inspiring how positive you still are. Thank you for that! How is your family doing? Your children are possible far away, studying and missing you. I went studying for 3 weeks and it was terrible to be so far away. "Thanks" to covid I am back now. My dad has 2 more chemos and then the checks. The doctors are not 100% sure if it is a hemangioma or a mets in his liver. In April they said hemangioma, now they were not sure cause it did grow. He got all the tests but on USG they could not find the spot. His oncologist said hemangioma for sure and was furious... Whatever it is he will be checked with CT, MRI soon. I am thinking for 2nd opinion for that or maybe do a pet scan or whatever... I will hope the best for you!

You're so positive which is no surprise because that's just how Mrs. Warr is. I should have gotten in touch with you long ago when I found out Jesse Gerding was living with one of Lawton's friends. I was so excited to know those 2 knew each other. I just watched your video "I miss my friend" again . Don't ever doubt you made an impact on lives because you & Linda Holcomb made a huge impact on Jesse & Shelby, especially Jesse! Your shot about being a Karen was great! I always cracked up at the ways you handled Tigger like taking his chair away if continued to lean back in it after being told not to repeatedly...okay you can stand for the rest of the day lol! No argument from this mom, my kids had the best! Let us know how the cooking lessons are going with the kids. You are still adorable, bruises & all! Keep that positive attitude & live life. I’m on methadone for chronic pain for a major back injury and have been on it for 7 years. It’s the best pain relief I have ever had and I can be semi normal while taking this medication. So glad you got some pain relief!

I grapple with a different illness (ugh) but I remind myself -- What if I was homeless? What if I didn't have health insurance? (Hello, America.) Your path has been a tough one, but I genuinely believe it will be "smooth sailing" from here on out. Hospice care is fabulous. Good for you.

Hello shannon, ive been missing your updates and wondering how you have been doing lately glad to see you hanging in there. I too have colon cancer, diagnosed in 2019. Stage 4 and on my second round of chemo treatments and radiation. I know its very hard emotionally the worrying and the toll it takes on your loved ones and you . I pray for you and megan schaaf, she is also battling colon cancer. Have faith , pray and do the best you can thats all we can do honestly and have your loved ones there and tell them every day you love them. It would be much more honest of them to say at very beginning: "Just go home and enjoy your life" . But no , first you give them all your time and then they say : " uupss , sorry didn't work ". Love your post and I agree, if you were told to go home and enjoy life like you said then all of the questions and obstacles could be avoided and atleast you would know what's happening. God knows if anyone could handle what she is going through, it would be Shannon. This is what it's all about, taking everything that comes at you in stride and praising God the entire way, it is not him putting you through this, it is him with you the entire way and hes got you. Hello shannon, ive been missing your updates and wondering how you have been doing lately glad to see you hanging in there. I too have colon cancer, diagnosed in 2019. Stage 4 and on my second round of chemo treatments and radiation. I know its very hard emotionally the worrying and the toll it takes on your loved ones and you . I pray for you and megan schaaf, she is also battling colon cancer. Have faith , pray and do the best you can thats all we can do honestly and have your loved ones there and tell them every day you love them. I wish you the best everyday ill be praying for you and all the best to your beautiful family.

God bless you Shannon , I pray for you so you stay pain free . I only can't understand why doctors keep torturing people with chemo knowing that chemo doesn't work . It would be much more honest of them to say at very beginning: "Just go home and enjoy your life" . But no , first you give them all your time and then they say : " uupss , sorry didn't work ". It's not fair
Love your post and I agree, if you were told to go home and enjoy life like you said then all of the questions and obstacles could be avoided and atleast you would know what's happening. God knows if anyone could handle what she is going through, it would be Shannon. This is what it's all about, taking everything that comes at you in stride and praising God the entire way, it is not him putting you through this, it is him with you the entire way and hes got you. Sorry for the rant, it was in me so I couldn't keep quiet lol. God Bless You

@@amberlynn8591 Thank God she's OK and I'm OK but I fell because when I was getting out of the Van because the government picks me up with this Van called diamond and they had AM wires that was sticking down from the arm Van show after that I fell right on my knee but I know that god's got my back and her back there is nothing that God cannot do and evil cannot touch us I'm glad she's OK and she looks very well you never know may be God might just extend her life for another 5 years
