Mrs. Warr was my 4th grade teacher, back in 2015-2016, who taught me about loving myself and knowing my self-worth. She was truly a blessing to me, and I will forever miss her. She's in a better place, watching over us, giving us every blessing we want to achieve.
She was my fourth grade teacher at Johns Creek Elementary...I'm now a junior in high school. Heartbreaking to discover this, but she will live on in my thoughts for the rest of my life.

Mrs Warr was such an extraordinary person. 2017-18 was the year her and I got so close. Everyday after school, I would come to the library to see her. In 2017, my mom had a sleep study and me being in 5th grade, I freaked out. Mrs. Warr was there through the whole way. I could cry to her and she would be so comforting. She was such a kind hearted person, and affected so many people in a positive way. I know she is looking from heaven right now so proud of everyone. Such an amazing person, miss her more and more everyday :(

OMG this is heartbreaking! I was worried when I didn't see her post in almost a month, I was just praying everything was okay. I lost a spouse back in 2010, not because of cancer but I know what it's like to lose the love of your life, your best friend, your soulmate..I am so terribly sorry and I'm praying for you and your children! There's just no good time to lose a parent, and unfortunately my mom died of Brain cancer 3 years ago, so I too know what that feels like. I'm sure right now you can't see past your grief, but it does get better, not right away but there will come a day when you find yourself thinking about a memory of your wife Shannon, and instead of crying You'll find yourself smiling maybe even laughing! You and your kids will be in my prayers and thoughts, so please except my deepest condolences in losing your beautiful wife. RIP Shannon

He had a chemo, liver resection and colostomy with temporary bag. He is no evidence of disease and going thru clean up chemo. He gets his rescans this month. God bless you. Shannon was a warrior.

My father recently passed away after being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, and Shannon's videos are what got him and I through this very difficult time. She helped him fight when there was nothing left to fight for, and her words 'don't die before you're dead' from one of her videos gave my father something to live for. My prayers go out to her family, whom I am sure are absolutely heartbroken by this loss. I didn't know Shannon; only her RUclips videos, but she truly felt like family to me. I really hope she's in a better place. Her memory will always live on as her videos continue to help many others going through this ruthless battle with cancer. Shannon was brave. John my heart breaks for you, Lawton & Harper. She taught both of my kids Jesse (she & Linda Holcomb called him Tigger) and my daughter Shelby. I can count on 1 hand the number of exceptional teachers my kids had in school and she was one of them. Honestly, I think I learned as much from her as my kids did. She was always so full of life & really just adorable. It's no wonder she was your true love. I'm so glad you had the chance to travel together & show her the world. Unfortunately I had lost touch with her & found out about her cancer from my son who was room mates with a friend of Lawson's. It's no surprise she found another way to teach, she was one of the best and her love of teaching was obvious to anyone that knew her! I thought about her today & checked in only to see the sad news. I was in the hospital with Covid and have been out of touch with the world for about a month so I missed her service. I’m from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 and she taught me so much even other people on other island like Barbados and Grenada looked forward to her educational updates. She was such an inspiration to us as we are third world country and information is limited. I’m deeply saddened by the news but on Saturday I will go down to the ocean and pray that her soul travels in peace and the water Gods protect her on her journey to the afterlife. My father recently passed away after being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, and Shannon's videos are what got him and I through this very difficult time. She helped him fight when there was nothing left to fight for, and her words 'don't die before you're dead' from one of her videos gave my father something to live for. My prayers go out to her family, whom I am sure are absolutely heartbroken by this loss. I didn't know Shannon; only her RUclips videos, but she truly felt like family to me. I really hope she's in a better place. Her memory will always live on as her videos continue to help many others going through this ruthless battle with cancer. Shannon was brave. John my heart breaks for you, Lawton & Harper. She taught both of my kids Jesse (she & Linda Holcomb called him Tigger) and my daughter Shelby. I can count on 1 hand the number of exceptional teachers my kids had in school and she was one of them. Honestly, I think I learned as much from her as my kids did. She was always so full of life & really just adorable. It's no wonder she was your true love. I'm so glad you had the chance to travel together & show her the world. Unfortunately I had lost touch with her & found out about her cancer from my son who was room mates with a friend of Lawson's. It's no surprise she found another way to teach, she was one of the best and her love of teaching was obvious to anyone that knew her! I thought about her today & checked in only to see the sad news. I was in the hospital with Covid and have been out of touch with the world for about a month so I missed her service. I hope you find comfort knowing she is no longer in pain and she has joined her dad who doted on her and the kids so much. May you for peace & comfort in treasured memories. Jenny Gerding

It's so painful I also lost my mom 10-05-2020 from colon cancer. I know that Shannon and my mom will be surrounded by God love for eternity 💕. Rest in peace Shannon.

I came across her channel just a couple of weeks ago and have been bingewatching all of her videos...how eloquent and efficient she was! I learnt a lot ... I was shocked when i saw her last video though ...it was obvious she had no life ahead...RIP and my deepest condolences...

Shannon was so much of an inspiration to us in the Caribbean. I’m from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 and she taught me so much even other people on other island like Barbados and Grenada looked forward to her educational updates. She was such an inspiration to us as we are third world country and information is limited. I’m deeply saddened by the news but on Saturday I will go down to the ocean and pray that her soul travels in peace and the water Gods protect her on her journey to the afterlife. I am so sad for you and those that loved her. I have only heard of of this and am heartbroken of your loss. I believe what I saw was her last video. She was a very strong woman that seemed to have no fear of what her short future on this earth would be. As I watched her strength, I pray for the same as she had for myself. I am older and healthy for my age , but still have fears of a terminal illness. Bless all of you and those that loved her so much! ❤️❤️❤️
