    Great instructional video, I should of watched it first, I put the snake I found in the garden in my Weber Kettle and lit its tail on fire, it definitely burned... but it gave my ribs an awful taste and the heat didn't last long... 😂😆

    Wayyyyyyy under rated / under viewed video!! Easily the best / most comprehensive snake video I’ve seen to date. Just bookmarked this to send to our clients whenever they ask how to smoke without a smoker. Great job!

    Solid advice and great looking ribs! Lots of kettles have compromised intake dampers that let in too much oxygen. Not to worry, the exhaust damper can control the cooking temp despite of this. I like how this video may inspire people to use the kettle they own for smoking! You do an excellent job of explaining the technique! I plan on sharing this video to people who want to know how the snake method is done! Right on Sal!

    Great video! If we’re using larger briquettes, should we still light 12 initially?

    • @SJCOOKS
      @SJCOOKS  3 месяца назад

      For larger ones I’d still go 12. But 8 to be safe and just let it slowly get up to temp
