I’m only able to program one remote. I’m trying to program two but one will stop working as soon as I program the other. I can’t have both at the same time. Any help with that would be greatly appreciated.
I have a question. I press the the button to find the relearn remote key but it doesn’t show me that option. I only see calibrate compass and tires. Can I still program my new remote?
That'a strange, to be honest I'm not sure why you are not seeing the "PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY". Factory keyless remotes should have been a standard option on a 07 Acadia SLT.
I can’t see how it wouldn’t be set-up for factory remotes but just to double check, you can take your VIN and call a GM dealership. Speaks with their parts department and they can look up the original build sheet for your Acadia
So you get the point where it says PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY, but then when you press the set/reset button (looks like a check mark) nothing happens?
This programming procedure is for the 2007 - 2010 Acadia. There is no manual way to program fobs for a 2012 - you will need an automotive locksmith or dealership.
@@PYR-Auto 07 gmc acadia. So last night I did it with two seperate keys and since I have aftermarket stereo and chime sounds that came with it, it made no sound when I hopped out and gave up and started pressing all the buttons on the remote while walking away it worked wow.
Instructions in less than 2 minutes - perfect, and thank you

@@PYR-Auto cool it definitely seems weird, may try a factory reset to see if that helps before taking it to the dealership to check out

@PYR-Auto thanks cause Ive seen videos that say the same way for 2012. However thanks for that advice.
You have to press the brake pedle too
Is it the same for 2017?
If your 2017 Acadia takes a regular remote, like the one in the video, then there is no onboard programming procedure for it.
Does remote start work the same?
Yes, it should
@@PYR-Auto I tried it and yes the remote start does work!
