I don't know about Mythic, am in a small guild that does AoTC, but I can confirm on Heroic, melee does in fact get the portals. It might be because we are melee heavy, but I have gotten them multiple times.
I like this format a lot, keep it up but ideally try to make it much earlier in the patch so that there are more DHs progressing the respective boss and use this guide. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@ekyso2607 they don’t do that well (this boss has been dead for like 3 weeks but I kept pushing it off) and I like to actually have killed the boss on mythic before I post them (i only raid 6 hours a week, one of the top 6 hour guilds but there still only so fast I can post them)
Do you know if the first set of daggers(coming directly from the boss), always target the tank? Or is it someone random? My group occasionally gets rekt because the tight dagger lines coming from the boss face back towards the melee. Wasn't sure if it's 100% on the tank or not
@@FortuneFaded415 never really has been for raid, it’s fine but probably like your 6th/7th best option. 2nd best on use for m+ (after transmitter) but not as good in raid
Just wanna give a shout out, man I think you do a great job at explaining things and always come watch your videos even when I dont play dh in a season My only complaint is that you dont play mage or druid 🤣
At first I was like yeah ima blast on this boss, then I realized it basically has no damage check outside of hof-level, so I just wear the first boss tank trinket and am invincible by the team second int starts
@ I don’t need it, but it’s a 10k dps loss and i’m literally invincible, you can eat the floor slices if you want lmao. Anyone who is progging it rn and has option (not just havoc) would save their guild tons of time doing that sort of thing
@@Kelian3000 this isn’t my footage (as I said in the video), I lost my kyveza footage. Atrayen does his own slightly differently, they’re all very close to each other and it really doesn’t matter
havoc is so bad atm, did a 95 log at kyceza mythic.almost top 100 log and was kinda 10the place on my guild. not even on the meters and the second best did a 88 log.

@@knamliss seems random baited in my experience but I can’t confirm or deny in either way. Certainly doesn’t seem to always go on the tank

why is your opener different from the opener you put in your DH guide video? sims also tell you to do the same opener as your older video

I would imagine it’s bad to VR during the suck since the suck will instantly make you lose the initiative proc.
It would be if we weren’t such a shitty scripted class, you either press vr at 20s or you just hold it for eb anyways

hate to break it to you man havoc dh is a dead spec. we barely pump damage with fel scarred and aldrachi reaver is a complete dead hero spec
