I think Momentum/Inertia need to die. I rolled a DH in Legion and got bad Lego RNG but my Monk got BIS and I became my guild’s MT buff for years. Revisited DH this patch, played inertia, got my portals and queen kill. Even parsed decently (80%) and while it is fun to get it right, no other class has to make this insane trade off. There were literally 1% wipes on Fyrakk in liquid because of Inertia on the seeds. That isn’t skill expression, it’s just dumb. It’s also rough in M+ where the community perception is Havoc catching random cleaves. Blizzard very much needs to revisit everything.
For me personally, I have a habit of thinking of throw glaive as the "this is what I use when melee is impossible" so putting in more throw glaive synergy without the tier set that threw glaives for you is a big burden to me. I could see a finisher like bombardment helping to change that way of thinking, so it could just be a habit from my relatively (end of shadowlands) playing time. Though I do like having the option to have a button to press when boss's do a get out mechanic or they just run away (Sikran's dashes as example)
Darkglare Medallion. *mic drop* For those who don't know: Darkglare Medallion gave you a 30 (later buffed to 40) % chance of Eyebeam not incurring its cooldown - that was back in the good old days where Eyebeam actually did damage. You would be forgiven for not remebering.
TBF eyebeam actually does a lot of damage right now, darkglare was mostly used for sinful brand, although it was interesting. I thought about including darkglare but i figured Raddons filled a similar space and was less rng and IMO more enjoyable. Funny venge got it instead of us though
@@VooDooSaurus I played it off meta when everyone else had their silly AI Veng DH summoned, in dungeons you could still outperform any DPS no problem. In raid it was... fine.
i didnt play dh in legion just from bfa onwards, but one of my favourites was the chaos theory legendary version from sl, where the proc goes off and just get to mash chaos strike non stop for 6sec or wahtever, shame the watered down current talent version only applies to your next one and is basically lost in your rotation with no impact on any decisions you make or noticeable in any way
I would like to see that: Streamline my cooldowns as a havoc. So when I use a talent that reduces my CD on Eyebeam, all related CDs should also be shorter accordingly. Bring the basic CD on a common pattern that aligns with all other patterns, such as trinkets. For example, 30 sec, 60 sec, 2 min, and not this wild mix as today. When I'm playing a DD class, I should always be able to choose all DMG cornerstones in my class tree. Basic deff and cc options should be free (no talent point, no resources) as most of the other DMG classes already have. Talent points for more versa or reduced threats don't make sense and should be removed. Mobility is great, but the reward for DMG should be small and give me back mobility when I need it, i.e. to play mechanics. (A retri is, in fact, more mobile in critical situations as I am or what I do now to play a no-movement build in specific fights). Better balance between the secondary stats as of now. Currently, I must sacrifice, especially versa, for greater damage, which makes a squishy class even more squishy. Alternative could be a higher life pool for an havoc to compensate this similar to a WL.
Bring back UBC doing damage and remove the damage amp playstyle from it. When I most enjoyed the movement playstyle was in Shadowlands when UBC hit like a freight train and you got two with the blazing slaughter.
I want the talent on the artifact weapon that causes glaive tempest to explode with fel energy after it finishes. Loved that talent. Fury of the illidari? I think

Essence break should be baseline, then add a talent in it's place on the tree which makes all enemies hit by the slash marked so that your chaos strike cleaves all marked enemies for the short duration. Basically giving some additional cleave. Then add a talent like every time chaos strike refunds fury it reduces essence break's c/d by .2s or something.
Didn't you dislike cycle of hatred? Why would you want other similar iterations back? I mean i personally really like the coh/sd playstile, but i also think they should improve the talent tree in general, especially the hero talents, which are either bland and somewhat weird or straight up anti fun in the case of aldrachi. And barrage shouldn't be a capstone and instead replaced with something that provides both AOE and st at the same time just like all the other capstones. In general though, havoc lacks some sustain aoe especially, they really need back something like chaos cleave, or more damage on blade dance.
