Amazing stuff. My favorite sc fi horror film of all time, now the movie beginning to the end. Love these scenes I’ve never seen before. Never seen that conversation between Ripley and Lambert.
For the original film Ridley Scott first imagined a dark ending where the alien strikes the head off Ripley in the escape shuttle then sits down and records a message in a human voice to be sent to Earth that the last survivor will arrive "home" in a few weeks... The film studio people said that was too bleak an ending and insulting for the audience after hoping Ripley, the last survivor, would escape or defeat the alien somehow.
I HAVE THIS MOVIE AND SEGOVIA WEFOR IS IN THIS MOVIE AND ASH WAS A ROBOT IN THIS MOVIE AND I'VE GOT THIS MOVIE ON DVD AND SEGOVIA WEFOR IS IN THIS MOVIE AND SEGOVIA WEFOR KILLED THE ALION AT THE END OF THIS MOVIE 😁
In the original scripts, Ripley begins to suspect Ash of his actions, especially after the (deleted) Airlock scene, where Ripley is certain that Ash is sabotaging the crew's efforts against the Alien. The original idea for the story also included the crew having sexual intercourse with each other during space travel. The scene where Ripley asks Lambert about Ash's sexual activity is based on the idea that Ripley is thus confirming her own suspicions that Ash is abnormal. She may have suspected Ash of being an android, but this is not mentioned anywhere in the scripts. This is the purpose of the dialogue in the scene. At the time of the original Alien film, Lambert is not transgender or male, she is a female character. James Cameron mixed up Lambert's gender years later in the 1986 film Aliens.

Wow this is amazing! The Alien vs. Lambert science especially, when it stands up after crawling like an insect on it’s back! Crazy good!
My favorite sci-fi horror movie of all time along with the rest of the alien franchise
Thank you so much for putting all of this together.
The novelization of Dallas' scene is much more frightening...but the original is still great!
I saw that one the first time around September 81 in a theater, with my cousin. It was another era.😊
