I can't believe that after all these years of big budget films tanking because they are all CGI style over substance, Hollywood still doesn't get what makes a movie work. You my friend do get it. Pacing, Tension. and of course believable, relatable characters.
I agree! The drivel that comes out of the movie industry these days are just terrible. As far as the superhero movies go, it’s the same movie over and over and over. This short shows great creativity and it shows that you know how to create tension and suspense. Keep putting them out there and I’ll keep watching!😊
In this instance I believe all caps is necessary. THIS PERSON NEEDS TO BE WORKING ON THE 'REAL THING', THE NEXT 'TRUE' ALIEN FILM, SERIES. IF THEY WERE CAPABLE OF THIS ON A SHOE STRING BUDGET. IMAGINE WHAT COULD BE DONE WITH THE FULL SUPPORT OF A 'STUDIO'. Good pacing, red herrings, and suspence building. Effects, lighting, atmo? Brilliant. Consider me a fan.
Yes I agree. I think its homage to the first movie was near perfect perhaps because the director had such a tight budget and he understood that the terror was not just the alien but the ship and in this case the corridors and basement became another part of that terror.
Yep there are and some of them were made oficial because of the quality. You can search it up, I remember the titles "Alien Ore" and "Alien Harvest" but there are many more
To be honest with you, Martin, your short film is actually better than a few of the films in the Alien: Anthology series. While you may not have had the budget, your dedication to telling a good story with the right amount of atmosphere and tension really makes this film stand out! Thank you, again for all of your hard work. By the way, I liked at the end of Part I when you added, "My Lucky Star". I missed that the first time I watched it! lol.
@@jneilson7568 I actually do think some of his points are valid, because the xenomorphs really need a setting for it to work. The more we get to know it, and the more we see it, even in broad daylight like in Alien: Covenant - it really takes away the dread for this creature. But im very hopeful for Alien: Romulus, I hope we get something horrific with this movie 😊
This is hands down the best fan fiction short I've seen (part 1 included), I love the acting, the atmosphere, camerawork, animation of the alien, the car sensor bit is ingenious. Also did anyone notice that the car sticker (the highlighted key) @2:09 looks like a facehuger !! Was that supposed to be a little easter egg or was it just a awesome coincidence?! :D
That was a very intense game of cat and mouse, I haven’t been that scared since I saw the first one in the movies back in 1979 as a kid, masterful job please make more thanks.
You're scared??? Have some sympathy for me, dude! The story of this movie takes place in Sweden, and I live in Norway, right across the border! Where do you live?? Shit! Im going to sleep with one eye open and a pulse rifle in my hands for the rest of my life LOL!
This was fantastic. You captured the suspence, tension, fear and intensity perfectly. Just like watching Alien again for the first time. Absolutely brilliant, well done.
Smart? Ok maybe except the whole I found you now let's let's sit here waste time and hug and love fuck that hugs and loves later you walk in you get his ass up you get out
Okay, now having seen it, I really appreciate that the xenomorph truly has a presence, not just in the really good effects, but lots of fan-films fail to use sound to their advantage when they have a CGI creature moving around. But in this film, every step is heard, there's all the clanking over objects in the garage... fantastic! Also, when the guy went to go charge his phone on the wall, I was thinking a xenomorph would be camouflaged with all the black shiny material near it, and I was so tensed-up for a jumpscare. x-D That's another thing to point out; the jumpscares in this are few and far between, and don't have obnoxious sound design, which is more than I can say for most Hollywood horror movies.
@Cindy Johns Im not sure if I'll be in part 4, 5 and 6, but I'll be the screaming dude getting chased down the street by 3 facehuggers in the title scene of part 3 LOL!
That was marvelous! Truly tense and didn't rely on cheap scares. A wonderful job all around just like the first one. You really deserve to be hired to make Alien movies.
You even captured random objects that look like the xenomorph when viewed in the dark or corner of your eye. Wow. Amazing. It's also very effective that it's not on a space craft or hostile planet.
The only thing I kind of didn't like so much, and it's really not a big deal to me, was the makeshift flamethrower. More so in the first short. If the alien ran away immediately instead of hanging out then running off after being hit with the makeshift flamethrower, it would've been better. This is my opinion of course, but still loved both parts!! Please do more!!
Came here because of Part I. And I am very satisfied to see that while Part II took almost 2 years, it shows some remarkable improvements in the Infestation makers' toolbox. Excellent work!
I liked that scene where he is in the hallway and the camera shows the back of his neck. I think that scene was meant to emphasize the expression "raised the hairs on the back of my neck" when one feels that something is not right. A small detail but effective.
I love both part 1 and 2. To me since there is no specific time on this video Earth, it could still be well in the future, so to me this is the start of the Aliens infestation on Earth like in the Dark Horse Comics. Small isolated incidents all over the world, each people dealing with this situation and this movie ends in a foreboding of the world beginning to feel the effects of the Aliens beginning to take over the planet. Excellently well done, and it goes to show the love the makers of these 2 films had for the ALIEN franchise, way better than the last 2 official attempts.
:grins: Likewise ... and, no, kind suggestions of subtitles are a little off target here, that would pull you out of the scene in a tense piece like this :D.
These are fantastic! This is where the Xenomorph thrives. As much as I find it a fascinating creature, I find these little stories about regular people forced to face the creature much more enjoyable. I used to think I wanted a larger mythology, but this is really all I want, Alien Anthologies. Short to medium length films with no connection to each other. The alien/predator crossover might even thrive as a short story.
I honestly don’t know if you’ll read this comment, creators of this two fantastic shorts, I just wanna tell you that you did a wonderful job, a job in my opinion superior to basically half of the Alien’s Franchise. You were able to convoy tension, terror and suspense by showing NOTHING for most part of the short and whenever the real monster was on screen it was SUPERB. This is cinema. In his true sense: when with the right angles and cameras you bring inside that place and make me think that there could be an actual xenomorph behind the next corner. I’ll never thank you enough, really hope you are now working in the high industry teaching to many others how with so few you can create so much.
so I need a part three now! this just popped up in my recommendations and I watched both parts and I couldn’t keep watching it full size because I was so scared of what was next! this is such a nice fanfilm series! I NEED MORE! PART THREE NEEDS TO BE RELEASED NOW!
This was seriously scary - as good as the older movies and WAY better than the more recent Prometheus films. Damn, fantastic job with everything, storyline, effects, all of it.
Wow! Thank you for make and share this high quality film. It is amazing the way you have put the Alien into "our world", inside the nowadays environment and how it is influenced by the mindset of regular people. For instance, we do not imagine Ten. Ripley calling the police but it is exacly what someone would does in such situation. Very thanks and congratulations.
Watched both now and I have to say that I like the Swedish touch to the alien genre. As a swede it makes it more real to see it in that environment. Really 10/10 for a fan movie!
Great job!!! Parts 1 and 2 - fantastic! Hope there will be a part 3 and 4! You actually captured the feel and atmosphere, even a look of being isolated in space, on board a ship. The corridors, the lighting, the strobes, the piping... Even when he was pulling into the parking garage, was like a small ship docking. Not to mention the alien itself! Wonderful innovation! Bravo! 👍👍👏👏
I just watched the part 1 & found out your excellent job. This part 2 is as good as the 1rst one! U are greatly talented! I've been a huge Alien fan for years now. Wow! I'm really impressed. Hope U'll post a Part 3. :-) U now have to be hired by a Hollywood company. LOL! U do things as much good as any previous Alien movie director.
This is so good. I really felt the tension and the Xenomorph was excellant. Well done parts 1 and 2. Better than the latest official short ones in my opinion.
This is at least as good, if not better than the anniversary short films for sure. Honestly I enjoyed both of the official shorts I have seen so far, but Infestation totally stands on it's own against any of those.

Both Part I and Part II are very well done. Nice homage to the original. That basement, with its exposed pipes, really does look like the tight corridors of the Nostromo. Kudos to everyone that worked on this. You really did a fantastic job of ramping up the suspense.
Swedish Ripley. The end scene was reminiscent of Hicks and Ripley in Aliens emerging from the elevator.Great little sequel. The fear factor is back. Please take note Ridley.

This is the best fan film I've ever seen. It's the scariest Alien movie since the original. It's amazing as a fan film and even when compared to large budget movies.
This is FANTASTIC. That Xenomorph is incredible. It kind of makes the Xenomorph from the actual Alien films seem like an adorable puppy. He is so menacing and vicious here and the sounds of his loud heavy footsteps echoing throughout the corridors as he runs and walks is incredibly intimidating and frightening. To whoever created/designed this, it is magnificent. The sheer fierceness and raw power of this amazing creature is truly on display. Everything about this looks so professional. Very well done. I honestly never would have guessed that this was just a fanfiction short film.
It's not a pleasant story ... he got his annoying brother to look into an alien egg. But the ends justify the means ... I think you'll agree that it was worth it.
lmao the alien in this looked better than the garbage Covenant aliens... This is why Hollywood attacks fan projects, they are getting better and better.
Totally agree. I'd prefer a movie trilogy made by these guys over that hack Ridley, and the morons at Fox. Now that the Mouse of Doom has it's claws on the Alien franchise I am sure that they will only get worse.
Amazing short movies for the real fans! Big thanks to Martin! Very true to the original idea of the "Alien way of tension" you feel during watching. btw. I appreciate the car scene casting. It's a Skoda Superb made in the Czech Republic, feeling proud of my country ;)
Excelent work! Thank you for it. I was afraid that the second part will be only build on success of the first part, but, Im not dissapointed. Hope that there will be part 3. How the alien get into the building :)
While not perfect, which no film is, this was fantastic!!!! The tension that you build, the horror, dread, desperation and helplessness. This is what an Alien movie, and for that matter any horror film should strive to achieve. This is platinum, you should all be proud of the amazing job you have done! This goes to show you dont need million dollar special effects, a big name cast and Hollywood to make a stellar film! I will tell my friends and family to check this out. You earned a sub, my respect and I cant wait to see what you come out with next!
Some Hollywood moguls would do well to check the series out. Seems they may come away with -- why are millions upon millions of dollars (or any denomination) required... Another Masterstroke!!!
Solid emphasis on horror over jumpscares and bullshit action with blood as is infesting the genre these days. Even Ridley lost it. Well done. Hope hollywood will remember one day. Let alone Ridley.
You have just embarrassed hollywoods best efforts to recreate the early thrill and fears of the alien franchise . Absolutely brilliant work fantastic effort all round and amaxing talent . Well done to everyone who was involved .

For f**ks sake that Xenomorph is so great. How do you do that? 😮
You just need somebody to impregnate with one of those eggs.......
It's not a pleasant story ... he got his annoying brother to look into an alien egg.
But the ends justify the means ...
I think you'll agree that it was worth it.
he just paid a xenomorph to act for him, easy.
@@Dilopho wow where can u find one under your basement XD
@@muhammadowais2873 Yeah, just put up an ad with your number and one might call you. It depends on if you pay well or not.
Well done! Glad I bumped into your Movies! Super grateful for your passion for Aliens too!
THANKS FOR UPLOADING!😚
This was...AWESOME! Had me on edge the whole time... Excellent work!
lmao the alien in this looked better than the garbage Covenant aliens... This is why Hollywood attacks fan projects, they are getting better and better.
Shut up you ungrateful piece of shit
I think he was complimenting the Infestation creators.
Totally agree. I'd prefer a movie trilogy made by these guys over that hack Ridley, and the morons at Fox. Now that the Mouse of Doom has it's claws on the Alien franchise I am sure that they will only get worse.
The Alinverse is a big place with a huge time span. There are lots of possibilities. Have you checked out the Alien shorts from IGN?
Tommy : who are you referring to ? All I see are positive comments !
Amazing short movies for the real fans!
Big thanks to Martin!
Very true to the original idea of the "Alien way of tension" you feel during watching.
btw. I appreciate the car scene casting. It's a Skoda Superb made in the Czech Republic, feeling proud of my country ;)
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! :) And well spotted, it absolutely is a Skoda Superb, I loved that car, it had all the bells and whistles! :)
Awesome film
Wow this was amazing. Really made you care about the characters, love the camera work, the noises, just everything.
Absolutely.
Excelent work! Thank you for it. I was afraid that the second part will be only build on success of the first part, but, Im not dissapointed. Hope that there will be part 3. How the alien get into the building :)
Amazing work! You're a true alien fan, watching this while on Alien Day is so fantastic, and this is a lovely present for all the fans, thanks!
This was damned good! Ridley Scott should watch this and learn how to make new Alien films!!
Another Masterstroke!!!
.. amazing work , the Alien is truly phenomenal , .. the story, the actors , a standing ovation indeed ..
Cool, I like Xenomorphs !!!
When someone said leave, you need to leave! This is so good, i want more!
Damm! I never gonna enter a Building Basement again!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE KNOD TO ALIENS! When he tells the dispatcher he’s at LEVERGEN 426 ...... LV-426 !! Perfect 👌🏼
Solid emphasis on horror over jumpscares and bullshit action with blood as is infesting the genre these days. Even Ridley lost it.
Well done. Hope hollywood will remember one day. Let alone Ridley.
The sheer dread the xenomorph emanates ..holyyy fuuuck. That is what is horror not bullshit jumpscares
Wow you did it again! I love your videos man keep it up! they're way scarier than Prometheous and Covenant!
I'll download before FOx deletes it.... ;D
You have just embarrassed hollywoods best efforts to recreate the early thrill and fears of the alien franchise . Absolutely brilliant work fantastic effort all round and amaxing talent . Well done to everyone who was involved .
