  • The matching concealment side or end table for the concealment x-frame coffee table! This table would be great for your woodworking business or as furniture in your own home! As a sofa end table... or a bedroom side table... this concealment piece actually looks great in any setting. In this video, I will guide you step by step on making this awesome farmhouse concealment table as well as how to distress the top and install the RFID lock.
So on this channel, I teach that in order to create a successful product to sell you need to take something that's "hot" and shake it up. That's what gave me the idea for this build... Farmhouse decor is in... and everyone loves hidden compartments. So why not make Farmhouse furniture that's so slim that no one would ever dream that it could be concealing anything. And don't take this video wrong... It's built for the concealment of anything!
This was a fun build and I hope that It may give my fellow makers a new idea on how to make money with woodworking.

I love that wire wheel technique, I've used it on grey pallet wood that's been baked in the sun and the results are stellar! If you take scotch Brite to the surface afterwards, it smooths out so much like a well worn step.

I might be watching a lot of your videos nearly back to back :) I took away the existence of those gas struts. Never even knew they existed. So yes, I've learned. Still building up the skills to *use* them the way you have here (seriously, the skill you show in these builds is really nice to see). Thank you again!

When I worked at a wood shop, there were a few "tools" that were used. There was a board that had nails protruding out. Mainly, it was a group of nails that were put through a board, then another board screwed over the heads so they didn't fall out when it was hammered. Then, we'd align the board with nails over the wood to be distressed, hammer the top... Walla! a group of "wormholes". We'd also beat the wood to be distressed with a length of chain.

I decided against distressing and repainted and used a lighter stain (top and bottom) followed by satin lacquer. Also went pretty extreme with the wire wheel. It’s just beautiful.
