ST20 - VANDENBURG SKATEPARK | Port Orchard, WA

Happy 11th Birthday to this amazing skatepark! It was opened 6/21/2013 and an additional area of the skatepark was added later. I was at work when my friend Zi hit me up to see if I could make it out to the Port Orchard Skatepark for their 10 year anniversary event last year, and after a long work day I decided to full send it and I'm glad we did. We only caught the tail end of the event, but spirits were still high and we ran into a lot of rippers and made some new friends. After starting this episode with Zi, I knew I had to close out this skatepark before summer was gone so I made plans to go back out to Vandenburg Skatepark with Gabe and conquer the rest of the park. I also got to sesh with my homie Ryan who I used to work in the coffee industry, who's newer to skateboarding but was definitely super fun to have him there for the session.
This skatepark is enormous, certainly many options for all skill levels of transition and street. This was definitely one of my favorite stops so far, and the community out here was so nice and welcoming as well. Looking forward to skating this park again in the future!
Rest in peace to Jarrett MacDonald. Miss you bro and definitely was thinking of you.
