I always have such a good time watching your videos. They have such a personal vibe to them where you are just teaching me as your friend how to do something new. You've made a real community on your channel and I'm glad to be a part of it :)
Split your thread into 2 or 1 strands, it makes it go further and you can do finer details. Takes forever but its worth it. \i'm currently embroidering some Jordan 1's on to cotton.
@@Shmoxd I get what your saying but i really like having the different textures you get from finer thread and thicker together. Specially for floral patterns. My GF is amazing at textile art and this is how she taught me. Have you ever tried using sewing machine? My friend Margaret Fairhead is so good at it, she paints on the fabric then free machine stitches over the top. rbsagallery.blog/2018/08/04/contemporary-canal-art-margaret-fairheads-textile-art/. I'm sure you could do something great.
All of these instructional videos on how to thread a needle for embroidery/how to tie it off and this video on how to embroider a t-shirt taught me better
It looks like the stitch that’s done for metal heading with silk thread. I don’t remember what it’s called but you basically lay the thread down in the shape you want on the fabric and then make small stitches across it to anchor it down.
The stitch he used to outline the big flowers is a whipped running stitch for anyone wondering 😊 You can do whipped versions of other stitches as well, it really helps to give a smooth and solid look to the line
I've been embroidering for many years and dont watch videos of stuff I can already do bc I just find it boring *BUT* I love his stuff so I will watch many times over!
I absolutely love how this guy is absolutely destroying fragile masculinity, some guys would never try embroidery because "iTs FoR GiRls" but this guy shows people that crafting is for everyone
You just read my mind, I was about to mess up a couple t-shirts til I got the technique down but now I can skip that part and just embroider something nice straight away
i’ve been subscribed to your channel for almost three years and i’ve always loved your videos, i love how you never really changed the intro and how your videos were always soo unique and different like it’s not everyday you see youtubers showing people how to MAKE THEIR OWN PAPER!! like what?! keep up the good work i love it!💕
Wow your a so creative and are really good at what ever you try. It’s cool to watch you work and honestly it inspires me to continue going to do art. So thanks for showing us your videos.
I've been slacking on my embroidery so this gave me a kick in the ass to start up again! Plus it's a rainy day so what better thing to do than cuddle with cats and blanket on the couch with unfinished hoops. 😄
The filti works great in masks!! Lightweight and I trust it more than any other protective filter. It’s not too expensive either. Love the embroidery. Try a better punch needle and monk cloth. Your cotton shirt doesn’t have enough tension to hold the stitches. Hair looks great! 👏
Don't use backing that requires ripping on stretchy fabrics, ever. It'll ruin the stitch as well as the shirt, it might rip holes next to your pretty stitches. ❤️ Use something you cut after embroidery or something water soluble. I used to work in a company and did machine embroidered stuff for years. Your work is amazing!
You are super talented! Really enjoy watching your videos. They're cool, and fun, and creative, and well made! Love how that one with your face and large flowers turned out! Also, wanted to add that you're really smart and a good teacher.
The mustache flowers are the coolest little detail 🥺
hahah thanks!!:)
Why is everything you make so frickin COOL
Wow thanks:)

I'm glad you're apart of it too:)
There’s just something about his type of art and stufff
That one dislike is from a person that hurts themselves with a needle when trying to embroider
And I understand and accept that 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Split your thread into 2 or 1 strands, it makes it go further and you can do finer details. Takes forever but its worth it. \i'm currently embroidering some Jordan 1's on to cotton.
I did that for one part.. and my thought is if you are going to split them, you might as well just use sewing thread:) what do you think?

Yah.. I didn't explain it very well.. but it was super easy:)

It looks like a whipped running stitch 😀

This is probably the tutorial you're looking for then :))

The spacing on the stitching you did on the larger flower back piece came out great. Kind of an illustrator/ tattoo flash end result. Me like.

A tip for transfer paper is once you peel of the backing put parchment paper over top an iron it. Should make it last longer and look cleaner
