Hi, I was just wondering where you get all these rusty tools. I would love to do something like this myself so that is why I am asking. Love your videos, have a nice day!
I'm as mad as the person who makes these videos and have a collection of all sorts of rusty tools. I have found them in all manner of places: skips/dumpsters, on walks in cities, towns, thrown behind bins, in the woods, at council rubbish tips. Sometimes people put stuff out on the pavement/sidewalk with a "help yourself" sign. Some things, people had cleared out their garages or sheds. Once you start actively looking and asking around you will end up with a boxful so big you will be able to restore to your heart's content! Good luck!
@@nugget1044 lol yeah but I think it’s cause the other person answered first and they creator saw no flaw in the answer so they didn’t say anything… or maybe they just spam heart every comment. I’m not sure 😅
I love your videos! I have a question though.. On one of the cleavers that you restored you chose to use electrolysis to remove the rust. Why was that method used for that project vs other methods? I'm learning there are several methods to remove rust, and I'm curious why one way is better than another.
I cannot comment on the reasoning for the choices in this instance, but I understand electrolysis is a bit less aggressive on the parts than chemical rust removers and mechanical processes such as media blasting or using a wire wheel.
The fact that they actually worked again is amazing- that's definitely restoration enough for me. I don't know what everyone else here is on about haha

That sand blasting part was interesting 🤩👌👏👍👍👏👌🤩🤩👌👏👍👍👏👌🤩
Good luck!
@@happydillpickle thank you so much! I will certainly try some of those places.
@@Alex-fw9wf No worries ☺️
don’t you love how the creator gave your comment a heart, then didn’t even answer your question?
@@nugget1044 lol yeah but I think it’s cause the other person answered first and they creator saw no flaw in the answer so they didn’t say anything… or maybe they just spam heart every comment. I’m not sure 😅
They may never cut paper again, but you certainly honed your skills on it! Nice job!
I LOVE WATCHING THIS GUY
15:33 that is paper
Thank you 🐢
🤗🐢
It was very satisfied 😊and very Nick me and my cousins were amazed
Awesome job❤
Thanks very much! 🐢
@@SerenaBluee 🤔Thank you for that!
The fact that they actually worked again is amazing- that's definitely restoration enough for me. I don't know what everyone else here is on about haha
Thank you so much! 🐢
Fantastic work. It is impressive to see how the scissors were at the beginning, and how well they have turned out.
Congratulations!
Theres nothing impressive about them, somehow he managed to make them look worse than before!
@@Mrcaremal5 I disagree. But I respect your opinion....
@@Mrcaremal5 ok the scissors at the beginning looks *HORRIBLE* even if they didn’t do *GREAT* there’s no possible way it looks worse than before, they actually did pretty good ngl, I don’t respect ur opinion bc u just want attention and I know it.
dude you have the most perfect videos no intro no speaking you're straight to the point and really nice and satisfying tool👌
Thank you very much! 🐢
I usually use your videos to relax, but at 0:18 made me jump hahahaha
😅🐢
Great job 😄 I actually like the no talking with random sounds. Creepy but in a funny way. The first time watching one of these videos, I had to make sure my sound was working. Glad we got to see them cut!
What a huge improvement but what would be Cooler is to take the restoration process one step further and make them to look like new.
😂😂😂😂
Ching cheng hanji
Vielen Dank! 🤗🐢
I'm seeing the restoration he is making. Impressively.
I love to see cutting edge technology sharpening up antiques.
This was quite satisfying to watch. Really amazing job guys !! I really love the antique look it has
Thank you very much! 🐢
Applause for all the work and attempts... but in my opinion, a lot of work for little reward... but it was worth it!!
Wow! When ya have the right tools the job is half done.
Beautiful work!✂️
Sandblasts scissors....
This is something I found that I wasn't looking for that I would do for fun. 👍
Great process video
Nice working
Magical change!
I like the way you converted something almost useless into something almost useful.
Use google translate
Those have so much deep pitting and missing metal from the rusting I really needs to have the craters welded and filled in and then resurfaced
But still a great resto job as usual
I'm very sorry Min... so far, this's the worsts restoration i've ever seen... or will there be a part 2 or 3!? 🤔
Old to new. You're a genius my friend. Hope you'll make more out of your projects better than the first time👍
Well I don’t know if I’d consider it new but it’s a massive improvement
