So many emotions come out of this music you never know what to do when listening.
In case you aren't aware, Vessel plays all of the instruments except for the drums. II is the drummer, and III and IV are official members of the band, but they only play live. Knowing that it's two people going wild in the studio only makes the music more mind blowing for me. Worship 🙏

I'm part of a few fan groups, and some of those members have direct ties to the band. They have confirmed that Vessel and II are the studio artists and creative minds behind the music. There have been some tracks where I think a producer hopped on to help with the bass or synth (I could be remembering wrong), but it's mostly just the two phenomenal guys.

You’re gonna love listening to II on Sundowning and TPWBYT. He’s completely unleashed. He does play a bit more restrained on TMBTE vs. everything that came before it. He goes bonkers on every track.

This was the song that got me into Sleep Token. I don't remember how I came about it but I was in love!
Vessell II was who got me into ST at first. To me, he's like Joey Jordison (R.I.P.) with his feet and Stewart Copeland who is an absolute genius of a drummer and could do it with the smallest kit.
Can't really hear any Joey in his playing but fair enough
WHELP, in II's Drumeo interview, he named both of those guys as an influence.... at least he named Jordie, not 100 on the Stew, so, freakin bravo, sir.
Fun fact, the guitar riff in the last chorus of TMBTE is this breakdown but slowed way down
Cant help to feel a symmetry between The Offering-The Summoning. Both being the second track on the album and the sense of someone putting up an Offering to Summon something. Maybe Vessel putting an offering to Sleep to summon it, still trying to figure their lore out, very interesting. Thanks for the great reaction, cant wait for more.
Told you you were in for a wild ride. This was the track that hooked me. Sundowning the whole album was released one track at time in order every 2 weeks with the album dropping with the final track

I really enjoyed your reaction, and I'm looking forward to your journey through this album. This band has made huge strides in a relatively short amount of time. If you listen to really early Sleep Token, for example, One (2016) and Two (2017), they are reminiscent of Vessel's first band in a way. Then, Sundowning (2019), This Place Will Become Your Tomb (2021) and ending with Take Me Back To Eden (2023), the progression of the compositions, arrangements, vocals, musicianship and production from album to album has been remarkable in only 7 short years! Stay safe 🤘 ✌️

Sleep Token has such a diverse and high quality body of work that it is damn near impossible to pick a favorite song but this for me is kind of the essential ST song
It just has such a perfect fusion of elements that sun up or epitomize Sleep Token for me.
