Obviously, Grian and Gem are going to get involved and make it a court case! Because who doesn't like dumping guardians in the nearby lake for farming, And squids too!
I'm kinda dumbfounded how oblivious some of the Hermits are/act when it comes helping another Hermit pushing a storyline for a month now (i.e. XB trying to make a case against Mumbu). We know that they talk regularly and I cannot make sense of it with nice words when I see some like Gem who read XB's letter and then check it off by basically saying "I have no feedback because I have my own food.". A good server mate would say "I have to get my own because shopping at your place is impossible ever since that iron store opened with the horrendous noise and pollution that comes from it." But then you look at how e.g. Mumbo is handling this and the past season, making it appear as though he only keeps making videos because he feels like he owes it to us and to keep the money flowing, because filming alone isn't bringing in enough to pay for his expensive hobbis and making episodes allows him to travel. And oddly enough, it's the second season where he miraculously gets rich from someone's or the whole server's diamonds and as a result has to put minimum effort in mining himself enabling him to get his videos done with the least effort with what can be done in 2-3 days work if not less. So I'm not sure if this is an attempt to keep him on the server for collaboration content and reach or what is going on there. Or Iskall clearly being tired of Hermitcraft for years now and even though he's got one of the most important permits abandoning the server. And Welsknight or Hypno leaving as well after a few months like they have the past few years. Same for Stress. Or you have people who go fulltime and are Hermits for a job, yet still they are unable to get out a video twice a week. Comparing season 10 to e.g. the activity throughout the whole of season 7... it's like half the Hermits don't care anymore and situations like XB failing to get things going show it. But despite that they also don't want to make room (even if they just give up the regular spot and just stay on the WL as more or less regular guests) for new people who'd be happy to play regular and collab with the remaining Hermits. Just imagine the growth the server could have with more people active regularly and constantly collaborating. They are basically thwarting themselves and it really saddens me to see, with how much I like those people and the growth they could have (especially hyper active Hermits like Joe) with the opportunity that is on their hands, if only all server members would pull the same end of the rope.
Well unless be sheer coincidence I happened to get the same thumbnail on my phone, PC, and notification tab, I believe they’ve stopped doing multiple thumbnails
Imp and Skizz talked about this on a recent podcast. The summer always sees a dip both in viewership and in hermits on the server. As the weather cools, people stop taking vacations, people spend less time outside, etc. we should see more hermits getting back into the groove. Not an omen for the server, just a regular, seasonal lull.
Cleo was also sick with an ear infection (making streaming and recording basically impossible). On the plus side, though: Stress just messaged that she should be returning this week!!
There's lots of factors i think Iskall, Ren, and Cleo have been sick. Many hermits also went to twitch con. Recently. Views also tends to drop this time of year
