Dude, Re:Zero is incredible, in my opinion one of the best anime shows ever. Great graphics, amazing storyline, great character development (main/side as well), really good emphasiz on emotions/sadness/pain. They managed to tell incredibly confusing story so good, that you will not get lost (dont want to spoil anything). 10/10 for me
After AoT Re:Zero is actually my favorite Anime and it's a 10/10 for me too. Only AoT and Steins;Gate are better imo
I prefer Re:Zero over AOT, simply cause I personally feel the characters are done way better (no offense to aot), especially in arcs 5,6, 7 and currently 8 (novel reader) @@Tarismes
@@Tarismes I also prefer Re:Zero over AOT, I can't deny there's certain aspects of AOT and twists that should probably make it seem slightly better in my eyes, but I can't remove Re:Zero from my top spot

This series has some of the greatest moments of character development ever seen. It's an emotional rollercoaster that gets crazier with every chapter.

If you were to ask me, I'd say OP3 (Season 2 OP1) is my favourite. Just captures Subaru's struggle and emotions so well. Overall, it would be 3>4>2>1
I can only recommend this show. People might say they hate Subaru, but that's only because he has flaws like any human. And that's what makes this show great. The characters aren't just cardboard cutouts and have a lot of depth.
The disrespect to op 1 is crazy. 1>2>3>4
For me the second opening is the worst. Not because of the music, the music is one of the best of the openings, but the visuals ruin me.

Op 3 have the most creative and interesting visuals, best music and i think is the one Who more represent what re:zero is.

Then, everything changed, when the Isekai Quartett happend.
Only Angle Rodriguez, watcher of all 4 isekai, could stopped that.
But when the world needed him most, he didn´t wanted to stop it because that stuff was entertaining af.

One of the best and most emotional anime out there. Also the endings are absolutely worth a listen. I still listen to some of them frequently over the years

Re:Zero is such an amazingly written story. Widely considered to be among the best isekai series there is alongside Mushoku Tensei, to the point where both fan bases argue over it - an argument I refuse to participate in because I enjoy both series equally. In fact, both are in my top 5 favorite series overall, and not just Isekais or fantasies.
And Re:Zero S3 is coming in 2024 (date episode count unannounced yet - although it’s expected to be at least 35 episodes) - and based on the novels it will easily be the best season to date.
The reason why there’s a v1 and a v2 for the first S2 OP is because that OP was used as the ED for the first episode, so it has end credit scroll over it. V2 is how the OP looks with the opening credits.
I would definitely suggest watching the endings as well. This is one of those series where the EDs are as intriguing and good as the OPs.
re zero is a masterpiece
If you like mystery, psychological and thriller, you probably going to like this show. It is dialogue heavy tho.

and the wildest thing of all about the openings and endings is that as the show goes on you barely see them! but you will still hear them, just over scenes. this was done to have even more time for the show. they also bought the entire time slots for live tv, that means no commercials. so the episodes are a little longer! they really did all they could to give this show the proper time it needs and it rules
I just finished this, definitely worth a watch, it gets better and better.

many people hate on subaru, but that's just coz they're way too immature or edgy to understand what character development is. its not just ""ohh lets train and get strong and become badass", no.... that's some cringe ass shounen shit right there.
and for the people who complain about there being no stakes coz he can just return by death.... ummm yea there are, and it is extensively discussed about in season 2 coz apparently this tik tok generation doesnt even have an attention span of 2 minutes

Overlord, konosuba, youjo senki and then re-zero. The Isekai quartet squad now is completed
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but the writing in the last part of opening 3 can be translated to "If it's to save you, I don't care how many times I die." That whole opening is easily my favorite, with the perfect loop of the first one coming in close second. Re:Zero is simultaneously one of my favorite animes and one of the most painful to experience. Even if it's an emotional gut punch, though, it is well worth it for how good the story is.
I'm looking forward to seeing your reaction to re:zero. It's truly a monster unlike any other. And because of that it's ok to react to it differently than you would other anime. When it comes to re:zero fans we LOVE it when you pause and have thoughts about what's going on. So don't be afraid to do that. It's very deep in mystery while also dealing with some seriously intense emotional themes about mental health.
The best re:zero reactions are the ones that stop and have a genuine human moment with the anime.

The endings are on the same level as OPs, so if you like it then there is no way to miss them.
If you gonna react it, for first season you should watch *Director's Cut edition!*
If you watch Re zero, then you can later watch Isekai Quartet, a comedy anime that includes Re:Zero, Konosuba, Overlord and Tanya the evil in one show
