BigDWiz, can you Dyno the PRV 400.4? Its a crazy small amp that many people seem to like. I was thinking about getting them to run my Mids and highs. Great vids and look forward to more Dyno tests
They could just call it a 150 and then it would be honest and fair . Thus is almost 20% under the rated . Just rate it honest this is rating you expect from Walmart .
Wish you would have tested this at 4ohm and 8ohm. A lot of interest in using these mini amps for boomboxs with car speakers and home speakers Great video as always still, my favorite channel
www.GPcarAudio.com I totally agree. Being a Kicker and with my experience with a small Rockford PBRs... I totally thought it would. I'm wondering how it would sound in a car pushing a sub...
I'm so tired of overrated products ! Kicker was one I thought would at least meet what they advertise if not surpass .... Lame duck shocker for me. Thanks for your efforts , I bought a power acoustik 2500 watt "max" (overated max) but in testing it exceeded its rms ratings and is smaller than my classic amps I have on my shelf that I won't risk getting jacked so the power acoustik is an affordable 2ohm stable powerhouse 4.75"w x 1.75"h x 11"long. 450w x1 @4ohms -- 650w x 1 @2ohms. Dyno videos are awesome for helping find truth amongst all of the inflated b.s. we've come to accept these days , So we can support worthy products forcing the liars selling confusion to be honest or go away. Thanks for the awesome ! -- Respect from Tacoma Wa.
Daniel Harrell Use 2 of them.....one for the left channel and one for the right. Lol. Kicker does make a 2 channel version as well. Get this mono amp and the Pioneer 12" Pro (105db sensitivity) then the 2 channel version of this running some PRV mids and super tweets (100+DB sensitivity also) with an Audiopipe 2 way passive crossover (20.00...for a set!) And boom a WOW factor tiny amp loud system!
Another great vid BigD!!! Chrysler used a version of this amp in their radios. I have a couple that I bought from partsexpress buyout. Best fifteen dollars ever.
BigDWiz I mean could there just be an honest mistake here? Maybe the original design and amplifier pushed out 200 watts and then, to get the cost as low as it is, some parts were changed allowing the cost to get into the $50 range and they just didn't retest and change the literature. Dang. When I post at 10 in the morning it actually kind of makes sense. LOL.
Never liked the kicker Amp. Now I love the speakers you got wired up. JL 15's with the JL amp. I can't remember what size amp it was but I had them in an Nissan Exterra and I could drive though the walmart parking lot and set car alarms off with that thing. Had component system in there. Out of all the systems I had, that was by far my favorite and most loudest system I ever had. Between setting other car alarms off I could be riding down the road at 50 or 60 miles an hour and the damn back door would open wide up. Many times I should have lost those speakers. Which I did. I loaned them to my nephew and tried to tell him to take the cars when he went in at night and lock up his Jeep but he was hard headed. They found the Jeep 2 towns over with my speakers, box and amp gone. I could've cried that day knowing the amount of money I had in that system. Sick ass people can't go and work for their own stuff, they got to steal other's and we're the racist one. I wonder why.
Glad to see this test. I would like to see a dyno test on the kicker 250.1 I picked one up super cheap, so far I’m not all that impressed with it. Curious what it really does
I used to work with DJ Magic Mike back in 2001 at Spence Industrial Supplies. Yes he had a day job but Djed at night. He's a cool guy, down to earth. Didn't even know who he was for a couple of months until another co-worker told me.
This is actually half of what a normal car amp would be,it lacks a power supply since the simple construction, thus very susceptible to voltage changes, drop it to 12 volts and most of you power will be lost, when a regular amp would "keep" it's power better when voltage drops.Still a cool thing and more than enough for anyone other than people who compete.
Thanks for Playing Magic!!!! Also the 12 volt test was very good idea. I just purchased a Dual DA10004D amp for a boombox build and like the output vs amp draw. As always sir thanks for the great video. :)
BigDWiz oh I agree. I was going to purchase that exact amp be cause of your video. But.... The price was right on the dual I got. Seems like the price on the Kenwood has gone up. Like everyone knows its good now.
Hey, Could you do some dyno tests of headunits please? Would be curious to see if any meet their written specs like the Sony headunits that claim 55Wx4.
Nobody that's serious about car audio relies on the power from the deck. You get what's called a 'deadhead'. Puts out no amplification. ONLY low level outputs.
Kicker of today is not the old school kicker we all remember... I used to love kicker when I was a kid and a neighbor had a kicker amp on 3 kicker competition 12s. That’s when kicker underrated their stuff
+BigDWiz I know it is not recommended but maybe change the fuse to a twenty??? I am thinking it might receive a little more power if the amp doesn't fry.. doesn't some amps that small usually take a 25 amp fuse? just curious...
I know I’m late to this video. But I got this amp a loooong while ago. I built a little sub box with a 6.75 kicker comp r and a passive radiator to put in my single cab work truck and be discreet about it, and this thing does some work for being so tiny. Huge fan of the auto turn on because I was already nervous about running wire to the battery (Company owned work truck).
Seeing that Magic Mike album cover brought back memories. The last of his tapes I bought, and let a coworker borrow it. Of course he disappeared after that, so I never got my tape back. I found out later that he had been killed.
The amp current is nice and low... the deal is what are they charging for this unit! I am kinda impressed with the results for the size. And it’s .5ohm stable
Wow kicker fail ....didnt see that coming - I love kicker AMPS.... but for how small it was it still did something better than most AMPS that size you've tested
kicker need to go old school call it PX150.1 that way you always get more creds for being honest with the customer and prob sell more. great review and love it when you don't get the magic smoke leak out of the amp. the Fog Master out.
For the price it's a nice and very efficient amplifier. It took only 116 watts (8A times 14,54V) to put out 91W into a 1 ohm load, which means that the effectivity of the amp is around 78%. I'm wondering if that's class D or not, because for class D it's a bit on the low side (and gets worse at 0,5 ohms).
+AttilaSVK it’s very difficult to get an exact current measurement with my setup as I need to stop the test as soon as the Dyno stops counting. I usually give it a second or so more and current rises and power does not. I’d say it’s very efficient as compared to most amps I test, even other Class D’s
Thanks for your answer. Your testing method is fine, and I really appreciate your videos. Keep up the good work :) (and if you'd get an Alpine 3554, please put it on the dyno, as I'm curious how it would perform - a 3554 is running my front set and my sub btw)
These amps don't have a very high S/N ratio, its around 70-80db last time i checked. Not the cleanest little things, but they are small and get the job done for bikes and small vehicles.(updated) just noticed in the manual it said >90db s/n ratio, that's not bad. Should rename this amp to the px150.1
Edit: I just realized this is a older vid. Lol! Oh well! Another chip amp which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The chip isn’t visible after he removes the bottom cover, Im guessing it’s soldered to the other side of the PCB which presses against the enclosure/heatsink. Probably not the ubiquitous TPA3116 that’s used in a lot of inexpensive chip amps, the TPA3116 can actually perform very well but only when it’s supplied with a 24V-28V DC power source which is capable at least 5A. Since this is meant to be used with 12V-14.4V. I’m guessing it’s using one of the newer automotive ST Amp ICs which are specifically designed for the lower voltage.
Actually considering what some of the manufacturers did in the 90s this missing its rating by 40 Watts isn't bad compared to missing it by 2000 Watts LOL. And the Ants were two feet long but you opened them up and you saw this amp inside lol sort of like the Pyramid that Big D opened up. Loo
Justin Murphy yeah you are right about the way they over rate amps but kicker used to be a company that rated their amps for what they were... it’s only 40w but they wouldn’t have done that back in the day.
_ Red This is literally the first time I've seen a Kicker not do what it said. I'm almost to the point that I think maybe something was wrong with the amp LOL. I see they have a two channel... I wonder if that makes close to its power or exactly what it's rated.....
I use to absolutely love kicker equipment. I remember back in the early 90’s having 2 kicker 12s in my 88 mustang 5.0 drop top that would absolutely pound.. but now says kicker is sold at freaking Walmart so it’s lost it’s name significance ya know... those JL you pulled out tho are sick! Wasn’t it a W6 or something that was supposed to be bad ass back in the day lol
We asked the Walmart question in an interview with Kicker marketing. See the response here. Makes complete sense to me ruclips.net/video/3ajYwo7MOH8/видео.html
I had the w5 duel 8ohm that sounded better then my w6 duel 3ohm, just the dimension for the box for the w5 was so big, that it took up the whole trunk space of 90 cougar, but if he could test some w5's you would b surprised. And yes, in 1998 when the w3 came out i got a pair and took my triple stack w6 out and never tried anything else to date. I still have the w3 12in duel 2ohm with a Orion 600 watt hot setup with the skull and blinking red eyes in my basement
These amps work good for stock sub applications. I have a 2000 acura tl and after changing the head unit the factory amp is no longer usable. The stock sub is .8 ohms and there is not an aftermarket replacement sub that fits in that location
Hey Big D wiz i would love to see you dyno the kicker 1800.1 because i just got one on black friday and its really pushing my 2 12inch kicker vr in a super pro bass box. Thank you man and god bless you and all you do. Keep up the good work. Love your videos they are very helpful.
Hello sir, the Kicker amps almost always come with a test sheet and do their rated power. The one I tested here appears to be one of the few not meeting this standard
I just watched this video tonight, the soldering inside that box will definitely make you lose a bit of watts. Those J connectors don't have flow through on the top side, if you know how to solder you can fix all that yourself pretty easily.
Hey Big D whiz, enjoy the videos. Couple questions. First, would you be interested in bench testing an old US Acoustics 2050 amp? Second, Have you ever bench tested a US Amps USA-2000 amp? I have one I’ve been running since 2001 and just curious what kind of power it really puts out.
That’s fine, Should have been more thorough on my second question. I was not asking for a bench test of the USA-2000. I was just wondering if you have ever done a dyno on one or if you know anybody that has. Just curious of what kind of power it really puts out.
If I remember correctly Harman Kardon made a 3.5 wpc car amp. My friend owned it but I could never understand the point of it since every head unit of the day put out at least that much power. It would be hilarious to test it.
The most under rated wattage on any amp I've ever seen is on my Mcintosh Mc-300 non auto former Amplifiers ,Mc rates the amp at 300 wpc @ 8 ohms stereo and 600 wpc @4 ohms stereo ,in bridged mono Mc lists 700 watts @8 ohms and no rating for 4 ohms ,all ratings are at 0.05 THD ,when I benched the amp it's putting out 420 wpc 8 ohms and 850 wpc 4 ohms ,in bridged mono it puts out just over 900 watts @ 8 ohms with 0.05 % THD and zero clipping due to Mc power guard ,the best value in high end home audio high wattage amps is the Mc-300 that's a rare amp being it wasn't made with auto formers .
I have this amp powering a rockford sub that I pulled out of a Mitsubishi eclipse in a junk yard. its not crazy but is more than enough for me in a car that did not come with a sub at all.
Classic Sanford and son I'm white and this show was one of my favorite back in the days 😂 I miss that show too and I'm 55 lol but come on man kicker could have rated it closer than 200 watts. 😂
What do you know about the FR15001 SoundStorm? How close are they to their rated specs? Can I expect to get 500 watts rms at 40hz at 1% distortion or better? As you have proven many times, even the RMS numbers are usually way off these days. Keep making vids man, love your channel.
Nemesis! That's so awesome to hear someone else say their name. Amazing bass...garbage lyrics. If I remember correct. I had the CD where they're all sitting on giant stacks of speakers. Bumped that in ny Honda Accord with 4 Kicker 15s back in the early 90s.
The distortion rating at .5 ohm sucks but I have been looking for a particular amp to run off of an X box cord in my house and the cord puts out 14 amp's so I'm thinking this amp will be ideal for a little home made sub amp to run indoors
IDK, guess if you want something that fits in the glove box, 150w will get you some decent bass for a basic factory system. Kicker has been around for a long time, they should have made sure this at least did rated, but for the price, can you really complain... It's pretty cheap, and I doubt many bass heads will be using this for anything, probably work great in applications you need a tiny amp and 100w. Sure beats those super oldschool "power boosters" that would go in the glove box.
It uses a chip amp of some type for the output. I really wonder what it is, probably of the TDA family, but I don’t know or many TDA chips that are .5 ohm capable
Ur channel is awesome I've been around stereo's since I was 8 I work at a shop installing and did it out my back yard b4 I started. Im known 4 always having the loudest cars 4 cheap like my 98 Pontiac grand Prix has 2 10s and 1000w amp and sounds like 2 15s which I paid $200 4 it. My boss's dad started the shop in the early 90s and still going by carrying Rockford which is one of the best(I'm a huge JL fan had 2 12w6s nothing compared to them the first gen)well anyways can u test some American Bass amps and VFL amps cuz that's our best sellers and r pretty powerful. The shop is called Road Quake and we do some bad cars. I watch ur videos everyday and can't believe the old amps u have and I always dreamed about owning
I'm from Brook Park Ohio so is the shop RoadQuake,my phone sux and waiting to get another 1 but me and my brother have a video on here of the truck we did years ago under his account Bizomac. We always did stereo's he's old school like me like hooking up 4 15in super pros by pyramid(u could not kill those if u tried) off a punch 4x160 and didn't break a sweat,I had 2 first gen w6s my favorite off a American Bass 1000w at 1olm and crystal clear bass I loved drowning people out bumping motley crue while they play 50cent I was untouchable cuz those sub's could doit. We carry Rockford of course, Hertz,American Bass,Alpine, and boss has catalogs of other brands he can get. American Bass started here in Cleveland that's y its popular look them up I think they still hold a record of 182db with only 2 18s. I have there 2 10 XO's about 600w each with 1000w VFL(branch of American Bass) it slams bad stock alternator and battery no joke sounds like 2 15 old school RF power dvc's which I had 2 12s of them at one point u feel ur face vibrate.they don't make shit like they use 2
Big D can you address the less components in new amps. I bought a kenwood x801-5. Rated at 1600 watts max . Yeah that's bs . So 800 watts continues. The guts say no way ...... thanks D .
If I was still an installer I would totally shove this thing somewhere in the dash, just not screwed on the firewall, lol. I would run it to an efficient 12" in a band pass or huge ported box.

BigDWiz, can you Dyno the PRV 400.4? Its a crazy small amp that many people seem to like. I was thinking about getting them to run my Mids and highs. Great vids and look forward to more Dyno tests
BigDWiz can you do the power acoustik 2300w mono block
BigDWiz what speakers are you going to use to get down to 1 or.05 for such little power
Buick Regal you big dummy !! LOL
Now I want a sound system on my lawn mower.
+Lasse Huhtala “You Big Dummy!”
It's my mad scientist gene that's acting up. :-D
their is. earmuffs with built in speakers don't need much juice to run the lill speakers.
Yeah make sure it’s loud enough to drown out the mower and the wife.
Lasse Huhtala it's gone cut up, lol
This would beat a boss 5K
Cody Thomas true LOL 🤣🥳
nope
facts
Fact
I bought a boss 1000 watt monoblock and it could not even power a 250rms sub
160w while fitting in your palm seems fair.
watch his video on Rockford Fosgate PBX 300 then tell us if you still think it's fair.
@@XX-121 the Rockford is 2-3 times the size so it should be more powerful.
They could just call it a 150 and then it would be honest and fair . Thus is almost 20% under the rated . Just rate it honest this is rating you expect from Walmart .
For the size and $49 price tag its worth it but come on kicker just rate it at 155-160w!
+1trucavalier exactly what I was thinking 🤔
No rug
Wish you would have tested this at 4ohm and 8ohm. A lot of interest in using these mini amps for boomboxs with car speakers and home speakers
Great video as always still, my favorite channel
It's ONLY meant for a single sub!
I really guessed it would have done rated, but nonetheless per size its not too shabby. At least it wasn't called a 300 or 400 watt
+www.GPcarAudio.com pretty close, but calling it a 150 watt amp would be more realistic IMO
BigDWiz yea definetly agree
www.GPcarAudio.com
I totally agree. Being a Kicker and with my experience with a small Rockford PBRs... I totally thought it would.
I'm wondering how it would sound in a car pushing a sub...
It's still pretty good. Something like a Pyle would probably do half that and claim twice the wattage
it depends on how you connect a kicker actually your on the right path. warring kicker products put out double the amount. so 300 is 600 200 is 400.
I'm so tired of overrated products ! Kicker was one I thought would at least meet what they advertise if not surpass .... Lame duck shocker for me. DJ MAGIC MIKE!!!! BRO, THATS AWESOME THAT PEOPLE STILL BANG HIS MUSIC.
They need some 4 channels this small so I can mount a bunch inside the center counsel.
Still impressive for the size and half ohm stable not many amps out their claim half ohm stable
+Daniel Harrell very specific use here
Could it be used for full range or low lass only?
Daniel Harrell
Use 2 of them.....one for the left channel and one for the right.
It's actually 0.25ohm stable believe it or not. I've installed a couple like that. lol HEY BIGD! THROW IT BACK ON THERE AT 1/4OHM!
Another great vid BigD!!!
Chrysler used a version of this amp in their radios. I have a couple that I bought from partsexpress buyout. Best fifteen dollars ever.
Oh man, that's an awesome deal!
Yeah it's not the same amp. Yours is better...this one is just awful.
They can’t all be winners... for the applications these will be used in I’d say it’s still a solid deal. Great video as always!
appears they should have rated 150 watts, not 200. Unusual for Kicker, they usually don't do this. I'm a bit shocked, honestly...
I’m assuming they borrowed this design or even had someone else build it for them, but I did see where it had Kicker on the board so who knows...
hifivega
I agree! Considering it's 50 bucks shipped! That's crazy!
I was thinking it was going to have a $125 price tag!
BigDWiz
I mean could there just be an honest mistake here? Maybe the original design and amplifier pushed out 200 watts and then, to get the cost as low as it is, some parts were changed allowing the cost to get into the $50 range and they just didn't retest and change the literature.

Kicked like cray cray
@@wal guys, guys. There's no need to compete, you're BOTH pretty fly for white guys

Exactly, wattage output vs. Amperage draw.
Dude that amp looks so sleek and tiny 👌that would be perfect for a guy looking for a minimalist set up.
+FAST & LOUD !!! MICHAEL VICKERS I see this has perked some interest w/ the little amps 🤔
BigDWiz
Well big D, I never had a small amp I'm more spl than minimalist! I love your vids and hope to learn to video edit like you
I'm surprised to see this not meet its numbers. Kicker generally is a straight shooter.
I think this is the only one not to meet ratings
Hey,

The Sony with the power pack amp built in does in fact put out about 40w I used to own one it was awesome for what it was
I expect more out of Kicker. Why not just call it a 150?
+Justin Gardner that would make more sense it appears
Kicker of today is not the old school kicker we all remember... I used to love kicker when I was a kid and a neighbor had a kicker amp on 3 kicker competition 12s. That’s when kicker underrated their stuff

It's a brand sold at Walmart right next to the Boss amps for crying out loud, what is there to expect.
The hell with this; I buy all my amps at the flea market because they have built-in subwoofers.
Seriously, though, what is the point of a mono amp with a frequency response that starts at 40 Hz?
I’m impressed that kicked out that much
Hey they does better than alot of ppls planet audio 80,000 watt rated amps lol

Thanks for your answer. Your testing method is fine, and I really appreciate your videos. Keep up the good work :) (and if you'd get an Alpine 3554, please put it on the dyno, as I'm curious how it would perform - a 3554 is running my front set and my sub btw)
These amps don't have a very high S/N ratio, its around 70-80db last time i checked. Not the cleanest little things, but they are small and get the job done for bikes and small vehicles.(updated) just noticed in the manual it said >90db s/n ratio, that's not bad. Should rename this amp to the px150.1
+Wade Hensley look a lot like the chip amp boards I’ve tested recently
Him: A 15w3 and a 10w6 I just had laying around.
Me: You lucky bastard.
150watts at .5 ohm is pretty useless if you ask me
TheDigitalguyy bigger is better than that little one that just doesn't cut it to me
That was at 14 volts!🥴
Now I’m curious what application this amp would be used for? 🤔
Not bad power to be so small great video as always 👍👍
It's so sad how Amps are made now days
Actually considering what some of the manufacturers did in the 90s this missing its rating by 40 Watts isn't bad compared to missing it by 2000 Watts LOL. And the Ants were two feet long but you opened them up and you saw this amp inside lol sort of like the Pyramid that Big D opened up. Loo
Justin Murphy yeah you are right about the way they over rate amps but kicker used to be a company that rated their amps for what they were... it’s only 40w but they wouldn’t have done that back in the day.
Karl Wright II everybody gets fooled like when you buy a boss or plan audio amp can't do anywhere near rated
Karl Wright II : alot of them are just a name
_ Red
This is literally the first time I've seen a Kicker not do what it said. I'm almost to the point that I think maybe something was wrong with the amp LOL. I see they have a two channel... I wonder if that makes close to its power or exactly what it's rated.....
"You big dummy"sanford and son watching that never gets old
👌😬👍
The W6 back in the 90s was one of the biggest subs you could get.
Finally!!! An amp for my lawnmower!!!
Ok, may need a big amp though to overpower the motor and blade 👈😜
These amps work good for stock sub applications. I have a 2000 acura tl and after changing the head unit the factory amp is no longer usable. The stock sub is .8 ohms and there is not an aftermarket replacement sub that fits in that location
love how you make it look like a 1 200 watt amp.You can totally tell that was intentional because this is his biggest video by far
I like the rubber flap over the controls!
+HumbleDeer makes it weather resistant
Indeed!
I had a 200watt amp in my truck in highschool. It was the size of a briefcase.
Had a fosgate like that size in my harley in the fairing pushing 2 mids and 2 6x9 sounded pretty good..
U can't go wrong with DJ Magic Mike bro!!! 👍👍
Super jealous I would love being able to play with and do all this stuff.
I just watched this video tonight, the soldering inside that box will definitely make you lose a bit of watts. Those J connectors don't have flow through on the top side, if you know how to solder you can fix all that yourself pretty easily.
You really think it will make a difference in an amp with this little output? I’m betting the difference is negligible
+Paris Dean thanks bro. I’m loaded down with stuff to test right now. Thanks for asking though🤙
That’s fine, Should have been more thorough on my second question. I was not asking for a bench test of the USA-2000. I was just wondering if you have ever done a dyno on one or if you know anybody that has. Just curious of what kind of power it really puts out.
Scosche HDMA504I bought this amp and was surprised it does well pushes jbl kappas very well.
That’s cool 😎
If I remember correctly Harman Kardon made a 3.5 wpc car amp. My friend owned it but I could never understand the point of it since every head unit of the day put out at least that much power. It would be hilarious to test it.
Yeah that’s a low power sucker 🤨
Who's the guy on Facebook that has that lawnmower with all the speakers on it? He's cutting and banging!
I have this amp powering a rockford sub that I pulled out of a Mitsubishi eclipse in a junk yard. its not crazy but is more than enough for me in a car that did not come with a sub at all.
+BrendoST perfect use
That thing was as quiet as a cricket in winter.
Classic Sanford and son I'm white and this show was one of my favorite back in the days 😂 I miss that show too and I'm 55 lol but come on man kicker could have rated it closer than 200 watts. 😂
Thank you for your video, It helped me decide how I'm going to build my subs.
AWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE i want the little amp. its a short shot but its cute looking
rockford pbx300 ftw
Your videos are awsome keep doing what you do
What do you know about the FR15001 SoundStorm? How close are they to their rated specs? Can I expect to get 500 watts rms at 40hz at 1% distortion or better?
As you have proven many times, even the RMS numbers are usually way off these days. Keep making vids man, love your channel.
+Channel Zero One Soundstorm? I tested their 5kW amp, didn’t quite make it to 5k 😂
What is the best durable bang for buck closest to accurate power amps you've tested??? Doesn't matter the brand just performance and durability.

Luv the videos man keep them coming ,,
+iZZyBVaPn thanks for watching and commenting
Do magic mike!!! Get some nemesis on the next vid 🤙🏽
Nemesis! That's so awesome to hear someone else say their name.
Amazing bass...garbage lyrics. If I remember correct.
I had the CD where they're all sitting on giant stacks of speakers. Bumped that in ny Honda Accord with 4 Kicker 15s back in the early 90s.
I'm from Florida and I grew up on that 👍
As always Big D great video
Yep since you mentioned ATV uh small rides I just might rig up a sound system on my zero turn lawnmower. 😂
When you were pushing all the subs, did you take a temperature reading of the amp?
Farenheit 451
The distortion rating at .5 ohm sucks but I have been looking for a particular amp to run off of an X box cord in my house and the cord puts out 14 amp's so I'm thinking this amp will be ideal for a little home made sub amp to run indoors
You can also use a power supply from a computer to power 12 volt electronics. Plenty of info out there if you're interested. Most are around 14amps.
Pretty Kick-Ass music big fan of it too Beast Cube 2 bass Patrol and all the other ones
Thinking about strapping 20 of these together lol🤣👌🏽
Old school amps 500 Rms 12.5 volts the beast
Single 10 ported and get a high efficiency one at that... use entry level sub to drive it hard since the power is not there.
+HIGHER LEVEL CHANNEL perfect for a lawnmower system 😂
BigDWiz unless for that ! Marketing over there at kicker needs help
Wish I knew what the heck you were hooking up to the terminal strip. It would of made the video more understandable.
I love it when you add in Sanford and Son segments. YOU BIG DUMMY 😂😂😂😂
Great review I want those JL subs lol
Would be cool for a custom home sub build
NOT!
might as well run a head unit... but it does make sense with the fusing.
It uses a chip amp of some type for the output. I really wonder what it is, probably of the TDA family, but I don’t know or many TDA chips that are .5 ohm capable
I would literally i stall a system on my lawnmower...cause its the only 4 wheel vehicle i currently own😂😂
Lol cool vid BIG D! Keep up the great job!
*_"KICKER HAS HIT A NEW LOW"_* 😩
Awesome, thanks brother! I’d love to check you guys out one day. Where are you located?
160-watt amp that fits in your hand, I want one for my lawnmower. not a 200-watt amp kicker.
I think pyle made a little 2 channel about the same size would be good to compare maybe
Big D can you address the less components in new amps. I bought a kenwood x801-5. Rated at 1600 watts max . Yeah that's bs . So 800 watts continues. The guts say no way ...... thanks D .
+Greg Nash I’m going to do a 5ch roundup planned
My little cheap blue tooth speaker made almost no noise HHAHA LOL
But I can see in the video how much those speakers were moving :)
If I was still an installer I would totally shove this thing somewhere in the dash, just not screwed on the firewall, lol. I would run it to an efficient 12" in a band pass or huge ported box.
+Joseph Stalin it could also fit in your pocket and power a sub in a backpack 🎒 🔈
