Exactly the same. The whole song is like he’s getting over the god Sleep. Then he has one final regret and let’s his emotions show and wants to just go away.

What's the meaning of this sentence : "Who encrypted your dark gospel in body language?
@@pedrolucaslf look up the word encrypted then think of what a dark gospel would be (in this case it would mean bad news) that was put into a body? Its a question in that song.
I am definitely just a metal head but the RnB elements they use just get me all day.
Since you enjoyed this side of Sleep Token, I think you'll enjoy the song "Higher".
I just noticed recently, that the ending for Higher is very Similar to the ending of "Take me back to Eden" so many call-backs on the last couple songs on the album.

Album of the year for me so far.. I've been binging their past two albums as well, once I found out that this album is the third part of a trilogy story. It's done so well. the production is top notch and the songs have a way of staying with you all day on repeat in my head LOL.. Title track on this album is one of my favorites "Take me back to Eden" i'd give that a go OR one of my favorites from Sundowning (First album in the trilogy) , which you heard the song the Offering from, Higher. can't really go wrong with any of them to be honest.

For a fellow Deftones fan, at some point - check out Telomeres by Sleep Token. It's got classic Deftones/S*xtape vibes. Sleep Token was the only band to dethrone Chino and the boys as my favorite, and they did it with ease. Worship.

Sleep Token has some great songs on the new album, but I think it overshadows some of the older stuff, too. Alkaline, The Night Doesn't Belong To God, Higher, etc. for the new album, Aqua Regia, Granite, Chokehold, The Summoning, etc.
You know how the vast majority of songs have the purpose to induce specific emotions? Make you pumped, make you sad, make you joyous. My reason why this is the best track of the album is because it takes you on a whole rollercoaster.
At first, it's sadness and grief. Then, it's blissful anguish, the blissful ignorance of enjoying something that's hurting you. Then it's anger (You're gonna watch me ascend), rage about self-helplessness to not give into the blissful ignorance. Then it's acceptance and determination to change, even spite (I'll take what I want, then leave). And after that, an explosion of anger and confusion, frustration, helplessness facing the fact that it's not over yet and it's hard to ascend and overcome (You make me wish I could disappear). Disappear, cause the worst prison is your own head and you can't ever escape. The best part is, the melodies are joyous during the ending, even ascending but the words are the polar opposite.
After all that, the listener enjoyed whole years of emotions in 7 damn minutes.
TL;DR - This song crushes emotionally.
I really hope you guys continue the Sleep Token reactions. Jaws, Sugar, Atlantic, and Higher are all absolutely gorgeous.
