This was one of my absolute favorites off of the album. This and The Summoning really shows the bands range. A whole lot of talent and a whole lot of genre bending.

What do you not like about rock music? They are actually considered a metal band but really they don't fit into anyone type of music they have something for everyone if they are open minded enough to listen cuz every song is very emotional and and intense and the vocals of that man is incredible.
Creativity done with an algebra equation. There is no other band as creative as Sleep Token IMO!!

I've notice often when someone who prefers rap over rock/metal listen to a heavier song they get overwhelmed by everything but when they focus on the drums its much more enjoyable. Just a suggestion if you happen to react to a heavier song again. But I can definitely see how it can be overwhelming to someone who does typical enjoy this type of music.

can back this up! i used to only listen to rap for a while before getting to sleep token and the main reason i like them is because sleep token has an amazing drummer. all of the drum parts on any song are sick and so tight. while sleep token isnt a really heavy band, it takes a while to grow because of the genre bending imo.

I think this one might need a second listen for you, if you're willing. Listen to the way it flows from section to section. This is a pretty tame introduction to metal!

Dam. This aint even heavy at all. Its super chill. Bring me the horizon are a mixed genre band, and they released a song with slander and blackbear recently. You may not like rock, but this song you will like, it's more of a dance with slight rock and the vocalist for the 2nd half is from bring me the horizon. But his clean vocals are so good. wipes the floor with blackbear IMO

This isn't, in my opinion, the best song on the album. But is so freaking good also!!! Amazing shit! Been a metalhead for 40 years. Im so happy to have found this! So refreshing in a landscape of cookie cutter stuff!

People that don’t like rock/ metal usually tend to go down the route of pop/ rap because they in essence don’t like “music” (instruments) but prefer voice/ singing which is fine honestly if you were to focus on the lyrics and drums and actually pay attention to it instead of cutting it off mentally I think you would appreciate the genre more

@@SITLTV Kinda sad to see Sleep Token fans being like that tbh. The whole point of the band musically is to let people like what they wanna like. They have some bangers that aren't very rock/metal. Aqua Regia's such a vibe. Granite's a lil rockey but still a vibe.

@@DaRunningMan Yes, they have things in common, but there are many things in metal that you will pretty much never see in rock. How many rock songs have gutteral vocals? or intense tremolo picking? or 200 bpm blast beats? You can take a metal song, strip off all the effects and play it on different instruments, and it would still be very distinct from a rock song
