I have used it for walking the Camino 3 times, 3000km in total, aprox 4 months daily use. Don't get fooled by the apparent simplicity of this pack. It's very technical, ultra light weight, resistant and possibly the most comfortable 35L in the market.
HI, thanks for watching. The Lowe Aeon is a brilliant pack and often overlooked in a rush to Talon! I hope you have many years of reliable service and enjoy using it. Paul.
@@trekitt Hi, thanks for the reply. This pack seems perfect for use as a day pack during my multi day treks in the Indian Himalayas. I'm really looking forward to buying some good gear from you when I move to England for my post grad.
How would you compare this Aeon vs the Osprey Talon 33? From what I understand they are targeting the same use..being kind of light n flexible alrounder backpack from everyday use to longer dayhikes or even overnighters when packing lightly in warmer conditions. As you guys reviewed both I would be interested which you would prefer and why? Thanks for the well made reviews..great content!! Cheers :)
Very, very similar. Some of us prefer the Talon, some prefer the Aeon, it all comes down to which one fits you best. I'd try both on with some weight and make a decision based on which is more comfortable for you. Kind regards, Harry.
Thanks for the review ! Maybe another feature : it looks like this backpack can be used to carry skis with the side compression straps (unlike the Osprey Talon which has thin straps). Do you agree ?
Hi. The side compression straps are not designed to carry skis, but I suppose they could be used for that purpose. You might want to consider a different pack if you intend to carry skis on a regular basis - www.trekitt.co.uk/rucksacks/technical-packs/lowe-alpine-halcyon-3540-haute-red__38626 Thanks for watching. Hi Matthew. Will is using a M/L pack in the video and he is 6'2" tall. However, please note that it's not your overall height, but your torso length that will determine which size pack you use. Check out our video on pack fitting here - ruclips.net/video/Sl1yJakKp-4/видео.html Thanks for watching.
The Levity features a fully suspended trampoline backsystem, so it's more comfortable when the bag is loaded up with some weight. The negative of this is that it can't be folded and bent, whereas the Aeon can, making it the better travel bag or when you're not carrying as much weight. Kind regards, Harry.

Tested this backpack against the Talon 22 and 33. It is so much more comfortable. What a great backpack.

Would u choose this one or Airzone pro? For full kit day and weekend hikes?
AirZone for any significant weight, Aeon for moving fast & light. Harry
Hi, great review! How many kgs do you think could be comfortably carried in this pack on a trek?
Approx 10kg and under if packed correctly. For anything more I'd look at something a bit more structural. Harry

Great video… what size hydration pack will this bag take?
Definitely a 2L, not sure about a 3L I'm afraid. Harry
Is the side access available only only the 46-56cm version or both
Side access is available on the Aeon 35 or Aeon ND33 in both back length variants. Kind regards, Harry.
@@trekitt thanks
Sorry if you answered this in the video. What size backpack is the one you got (M-L , L/XL) and how tall are you ? Looking at picking one up

What do you think Lowe Alpine Aeon 35L vs Osprey levity 45, which one are more comfortable. On the back system

@@trekitt thanks for your answer.
so how's the Flexion Strap after a year? any peeling, wear and tear...
Not a scratch. We've used and abused this pack constantly and it still looks like the day it left.
thanks for the prompt reply.
