Hi Paul, I have never actually got round to replacing my old pack as I haven't found one that catches my eye. Not really needed one recently, not being able to get out and about thanks to current circumstances, so I've been taking my time to find the right pack and this seems to fit the bill. This looks very nice, great colour and has everything I would probably use, clips hooks etc. Thanks for the review really enjoyed it.
Thanks for the review, always liked Lowe Alpine's packs and the sadly now unavailable Lowe Alpine underwear. Just bought the pack based on your review, so if it's naff; I'll be onto you! 😂
Great to see you back in front of the lens Paul and having a mixture of other staff members too. The new studio space looks awesome. Keep up the excellent reviews. 😊
As always, another great review. I'm looking for a new daypack with a focus on comfort. Out of interest what are your go to daypacks? Thank you Paul/Harry.
Paul's go-to at the moment is the Osprey Talon 26 - mine is either the Fjallraven Abikso Friluft 35 (for winter) or the Osprey Stratos 24 (summer). Harry
Hey Paul and Harry, I'm looking at getting one of the 35L airzone packs, but it'd be super helpful to see a side by side comparison to weigh the pros and cons of each. I'm looking at the trail, trek and pro and wondering if the features on the pro are more useful than the ones on the trek or the other way around. One of my questions is, is it more convenient to have side pockets on the main compartment (trail), side access (pro), or full panel access (trek)) Similar question with the mesh back pocket (trek and trail) Vs the elastic spider straps (pro)? Any hands on help would be appreciated as I don't have the option to feel them up in person. Bryce

Hiya I stupidly removed the airframe as I had an issue with the bag size at the airport. Had this bag for years but now I can’t get that thing back in. Any tips?
Sounds like you're having a bit of a nightmare there! When you say you've removed the airframe, was that via the reversed zip on the inside of the bag? Frustratingly, there's no easy way to get it back in and just requires lots of wrangling and a bit of luck to get it in just right. Sorry we can't be more help, but good luck getting it back in! If you don't succeed, we know a great place you can find a replacement...
The Cholatse is stiffer and more supportive but consequently heavier. I'd opt for the Cholatse when carrying more weight at a slower pace, and the AirZone Trail for carrying less weight at possibly a slightly faster pace. Harry
Great video. Regarding the potentially removable frame, it is useful to remove it for air travel for example (frame goes to the hold and back goes under the seat). It would be great if they would make the frame removal a bit easier for this purpose.
Hi Harry and Paul, great reviews! Would you go with this or the airzone trek for multi-day (10+, maybe a couple of months) hikes/walks? The trail seems to be smaller in size but not capacity (more likely to be ok as carry-on) and lighter. Would the airzone trek be worth the extra weight and size for added comfort/durability? Thanks, Tom
Is there a difference between the 30L and 35L versions of the Airzone Trail? I have the 35L version and it doesn't have the stretchy net pocket on the front to store wet gaitors etc? Many thanks
It is primarily designed for men, but the only difference is the fit and the colour scheme. There is a women's alternative here: www.trekitt.co.uk/rucksacks/technical-packs/lowe-alpine-womens-airzone-trail-nd28-raspberry__38718
I have the 25 lt Airzone Trail, excellent day pack!! Nice review as always!!
What is your back length and height? I have one and am worried it might be too small for me ...
there is a pleasure to hear You too

Great little video this. Just wondering how can you wash one, should it go into a large washing machine at gentle setting
I tend to hose the bulk of the mud off mine if particularly dirty, then just a sponge and some Nikwax Tech Wash in a bucket.
Great to see you back in front of the lens Paul and having a mixture of other staff members too. The new studio space looks awesome. Keep up the excellent reviews. 😊
Thank you!
I have the air zone trail 25ltr great day sack really like lowe alpines rucksacks as you say paul all you ever need 👍🎒
Good choice!

Great detail. Thanks a lot 👍🏼
Looks nice. I use the Lowe Alpine Aeon 27 for my daypack. Not perfect but remarkably light and comfortable for a daypack.
The Aeon's are great. I've been using one for a few years and it's been pretty faultless. Harry

Which would you choose of between this, the osprey talon series or maybe the osprey sport lite series?
I personally prefer the AirZone packs as they fit me better. It's worth trying on a few if possible as this will be the deciding factor.
Thanks Paul! How do you think it compares to the Cholatse you reviewed a short while ago?
Also, Harry - let the man out into the sunshine! 🤣
The Cholatse is stiffer and more supportive but consequently heavier. I'd opt for the Cholatse when carrying more weight at a slower pace, and the AirZone Trail for carrying less weight at possibly a slightly faster pace. Harry
@@trekitt Amazing. Thank you Harry!
Hi . Looks like the bag I am needing . I have a Lowe alpine 27 litre and it comes in s/m/L sizes . Is this bag the same regarding sizing . Thanks .
This pack is just available in the one size.
@@trekitt ok . Thank you
thanks a lot, it's very helpfull.
Great video.

I probably wouldn't bother. It'll be a faff trying to get it back in and it's not a particularly big bag to use as carry on luggage. Harry

I'd probably go for the AirZone Trek 35:45. You'll have a small weight penalty but the backsystem & extra features is worth a few extra grams. Harry

I'm afraid we don't stock the 35L version, so I'm unable to check. Sorry.
Is this heavier than an osprey talon 33.? . Please advise. Thanks
AirZone Trail 30 weight: 1.12kg
Talon 33 weight: 1.1kg for S/M size, 1.2kg for L/XL size
@@trekitt Thanks very much...
How 46cm backsystem fit to high person, i.e. over 52cm back ?
It'll most likely still be comfortable, but the only way to know is to try it on unfortunately.
is this backpack for men only?
