Lord Jesus I come to you now in a state of repentance.
I know that I have not been living my life the way that I should be as a Christian.
I am so grateful for the grace that You have given me as Your child.
Lord, grant me the strength to overcome the ways of this world and to turn to You in all situations.
Help me to know You more and to desire to walk with You.
I choose today to re-commit to living my life as a follower of Jesus and to turn away from the ways of the world.
I pray that you will honor my prayer and that you Holy Spirit will grant me the strength to overcome in my day to day life.

💥Y'all! 💥 Why do my answers sound like a 4-year old compared to your eloquence? I don't think I know how to construct prayers! Or, I'm having a difficult time adjusting to a more formal speech pattern in my relationship with God? Some of these concepts are new to me, to my "inherited theology" of liturgical Methodism. Something....🤔
I seem to be good at the intellectual responses, but I definitely need to improve my "communicative" responses.
