    Nothing to do with Moyes then Alan No ? Or the fact are defence is 2nd worst in the league , he has left this squad in a terrible state , need at least 8 new signings with the age of our squad

    Has he been undermined since the start of LAST season then? West Ham have conceded just under 2 goals per game on average since then, despite playing some of the most “defensive” football in the league

    4 wins in 25 games. We’ve been awful since December.
    Awful for the entirety of last season. Beating a load of pub sides in the conference league papered over glaring cracks.
    Moyes has spent 500m on this squad. Yet we’ve got no competent centre halves. No depth in midfield or up top and Antonio at 34 is still our best striker because Moyes was incapable of getting the best out of Ings, Scamacca or Haller.
    Conceded 70 goals this season. Two less than our worst eveR premier league total. With man city away yet to play.
    Facts.
    But the media tell us constantly how lucky we are to have a manager who has won 4 of 25 games.
    Past his sell by date and totally out of ideas.
    Facts.

    The fans hate the negative football they always have there are around 30% who will accept it if the team get top 8 and give a go in the cups, but even that is not happening so with respect he was always in difficulty because the Chairmen is getting his ears chewed off constantly, the fans have had enough.
    The European cup was great and we all thank him for that, but it's not enough for a club that is starving for some decent football and success if it were uefa instead of conference he would have stayed maybe, and Hammers fans would swallow their tongues regarding negative football.

    Neutral on the matter. No West Ham fan in their right mind with actual long term perspective should seriously be throwing Moyes under the bus. What he’s been able to accomplish the past three seasons (6th, 7th, 14th with Conference League title and three consecutive quarterfinal appearances in Europe) is very impressive. But now is the time for Moyes and the club to amicably split. West Ham have too much attacking talent to be playing Moyes pragmatic ball in an extreme defensive formation. Yes, it has yielded results. But the team has far more to give than it’s currently showing under Moyes. In the end, Moyes has built a very respectable platform for West Ham to build off of. But he needs to go before it becomes completely toxic at the club for everyone involved.

    • @decode3667
      @decode3667 13 дней назад

      He's been in relegation battle also during the time they won the conference league. Moyes has been carried by individual players showing up, the way he sets up teams is set up for failure.
      What's your club? I am a neutral & I would not want Moyes to manage even U14s at my club. You must want Moyes at your club, no?

    • @stephenmoore4651

      Thing is, he hasn’t left us with a platform. He’s spent £450m in 4 years and will leave us with the oldest and smallest squad in the PL. We have players out of contract who want to leave because of lack of opportunities. He hasn’t developed a single Academy played in 4 years (Rice and Johnson were brought through by Pellegrini). We have some of the best Academy players in the country (FA Youth Cup/League double last season), yet he’s only given them 74mins game time in total all season - one of the worst in the league. The players have had enough, they don’t believe in his tactics and want out. He came in, improved us and will now leave us on a par, if not worse than when he joined.
