I'm in year 9 (New Zealand). I want to be a lawyer, when should I drop maths? (We choose our subjects in year 11)
As long as you can use Google or a calculator you'll be fine

You inspired a lot of people to work just as hard by taking us on this journey with you and you can be proud of yourself. I‘m excited to see where your LAW DEGREE 👩⚖️📚 takes you! 🤍
UK unis grade out of 100 - or 200 I guess in this case (but it’s basically impossible to get the 100%) so
1st = 70 marks+
2:1 = 60-69
2:2 = 50-59
3rd = 40-49
And anything below a 40 is a fail
A 2:1 is considered very good! Hope this helps 😊

the funny thing is: I’m literally a math major and haven’t noticed a mistake in your division for a few seconds( basically before you pointed out). so glad we do math with letters and not numbers :)

Law Schools r wild. If I didn't mess up the maths she has like 66% which would be marked 3 in German subjects other than law. If you study law in Germany and receive like 50%, you did great. It is almost as if law schools' whole point is to test whether the students can deal with disappointment and stress. Highest respect for everyone who can deal with it.
I mean... 50 % would be 4 points right? That's not considered doing great in german law school. It means you didn't fail but... It's not great either. Great would be 9+ points :D (greetings from a very desperate law student in germany with my bar exam a month ahead)
@@marleyfa845 Not really. Trust me because of the comparison you suffer in Germany you can not convert it like that. A 4,0 in your 2nd Staatsexamen would probably be a B- in most other countries.
