I clicked as soon as I saw.... We missed you.... Please upload atleast once every 2 months or so... It's not youtube without you... You are really strong elena I would have never been able to go through all that and survive.... Proud of you
I still remember you mentioning 'some' health problems that you didn't want to talk about, so thank you for sharing your story. You've been through so much, and still managed to do so many things, and remained yourself. That journey would have broke many people. You are incredibly strong.
You're honestly so strong and I truly believe this can inspire so many people who are going through something similar. I’m dealing with a bunch of health issues myself right now while studyig, including some chronic ones, and so many people just can’t imagine how insanely tough it is also mentally. I’m praying things only get better for you from here! Very proud of you ❤
Cuidate mucho.
As a physician, I'd recommend paying attention to your mental health as well, since flares often occur during periods of stress, which can significantly worsen the pain (not to mention concomitant fibromyalgia). I'm glad to hear you're doing better! Autoimmune diseases are not easy to manage. Looking forward to your videos ❤
As someone with rheumatism (from SLE) and fibromyalgia, hearing all the struggles and pain you've been experiencing lately is making me physically cringe. 😖 I'm so sorry you've had to deal with all of this. How you've managed to get through it this sane is admirable. Hoping for speedy and continuous recovery, and that you can live life again with more wind in you sails than ever before! 🧡⛵
omg, girl you’re very strong. hope you feel better from now on. and i feel your comment about the gym, i hate it to my core but it is SO essential to keep our body healthy. best of luck for you
Oh Elena! I’m so sorry that you have to go through all of that! My parents always told me that nothing else matters, when your health is not good, but I never took their words too seriously. However, watching your struggles, I understand they were right. Doctors indeed sometimes can’t find answers to everything, and it does take time to figure it out. This year I wish you that your health becomes way better and doctors can find the solutions to your existing problems way faster! You are a very strong woman, and an example for me of how to never give up, even when so many circumstances beyond your control are in the way. You also remind me that I need to take a better care of myself while I am blessed to be relatively healthy. Thank you so much for sharing, Elena! I hope you feel way better soon 💜🙏
I clicked SO fast! Glad you’re feeling better❤️ Can’t wait for you to start uploading again! Can confirm that RUclips is crazy time consuming🙈 So whichever uploading schedule works for you, we are so here for it!
YOU ARE EXTREMELY BRAVE FOR SHARING WITH US AND ESPECIALLY FOR HANDLING ALL THAT IMMENSE PAIN AND STILL BE VERY OPTIMISTIC AND DISCIPLINED AS ALWAYS. I MEAN IT WITH MY HEART, I REALLY ADMIRE YOU ELENA!
Hey Elena, I wanted to reach out to thank you for sharing this story! I got diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos-Syndrome this year, which comes with symptoms that are similar to your rheumatism and stomach issues. I also had to learn how to deal with it whilst doing a competitive Management masters and working alongside, so for me it is really inspiring to see other young and chronically ill people who still strive to achieve something in their careers. Please continue to upload whenever you feel like it, you really give me hope that we sick people can still thrive in other areas of our lives. All the best to you! xx
Yes! Same! The chronic stomach and joint issues with Ehlers-Danlos are debilitating for me at times. I have an early morning job and it gets so tough for me to sleep through the nights sometimes and managing the day becomes harder. It also doesn't help that the issues make me feel like no one will ever love me because of all the issues they'll have to take on for me. But I send you strength and hope we learn to move beyond this diagnosis and become what we wanted to be :)
I'm glad to see you again, Elena! We did miss you, but you've gone through a lot and that's undestandable. Take care of yourself, we want to see you doing great, as always!! Welcome back!!
I'm still following you on Insta! I don't speak German, so it's mostly for the visuals, lol, but still, great to see you. You remind me so much of myself, just so much more disciplined. Anyhow, it's awesome to hear you in a language I understand. ❤️
So sorry you’ve had to go through all of this. I really hope things will continue to improve!! It is so impressive you always keep trucking on. My best friend was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis a couple of years back and learned that nutrition is a major factor which can help contain the symptoms… It took her a long time to find out what worked for her but it really made all the difference…
Wow, you are very strong Elena. I'm glad you're feeling better. I missed you a lot on RUclips, and since on Instagram, it's only in German, I didn't understand much! Greetings and love from Chile!❤
I am happy you feel better than you felt a year ago, praying for your fully recovery. Hope you get better, You encouraged me throughout Law School. Get better Lena.
After watching this video, Elena I'm just so happy that you are back! I actually started watching your videos back when I was in high school like 4-5 years ago looking back. On the series of IB. I still remembered that the first video I watched was "How to get a 7 in History HL". You became my motivation ever since then, and I actully got a lot of inspirations from you when it comes to university application as well. Years have past, now I'm study at an American University studying Sociology, and wanting to do transfer. I checked up your IG stories and saw you did that surgery, I can resonate with you so much on these pain issues (didn't know you had to take that many medicine). Because personally, I was born with permanent cerebral palsy. I got 3 big surgeries in the 19 years of my life including one when I was about 10 years old ,where that surgery had 8 scars on my legs with 432 stitches. But here I am right now, alone studying at California and pursuing my dreams of becoming better everyday. You are still my motivation and you will always be! Stay strong Elena, welcome back 🥰
I been hoping, you getting better, this is good news! My dad also has an immune disease too and I see how it is. Sometimes good sometimes not. Hope you’re been stable all this year. I follow your instagram I don’t understand it but I like to see it. Great that you can make videos here again too I won’t miss them promise
I'm so glad to see a new video from you Elena!! I honestly missed you and I was hoping you were doing well. You've been through so much and yet you managed to write a book amidst all that pain??!!! That's amazing! What is the book about? I hope you have more good days than bad ones in the new year! Stay strong 🥰
Hey Elena! It’s so nice to see you back here. I hope you get better soon.UC is not an easy disease and pain killers will always have a bad effect on your stomach. But you’ll get better soon. I missed you vlogs and the cooking lives in your IG. I don’t speak German so it’s difficult for me to follow your content on IG but now and the I screenshot and translate it lol. I wish you a 2025 free of pain and filled with love and success. ❤
❤ so glad to see you back! Hope things will continue to get better! It's scary thinking how much nowadays doctors are specialized on single pathologies that they don't know how to deal with everything that goes out of their field and you get passed from one doctor to another until you find your answers... But at the same time to get good at treating certain medical problems you have to spend a lifetime studying just one of them...
Hi Elena! So so glad to see you upload ❤❤❤ and would love to read your book! Unfortunately I can't understand German and wanted to check if you plan to release an english translated version? Really looking forward to your content, and may you have a happy and healthy 2025!! 🎉
Girl I have to say this I watched your Cambridge vlogs back in IGCSE (9th and 10th grade) and now I'm in first year of my law degree. Tbh I wasn't even thinking about law as a career (at least not consciously), now bang and its First year and tomorrow is my first exam for Jurisprudence! (I am not even sure if I will pass its hella scary) I hope you start uploading more...thanks for your study with me lives I SWEAR TO GOD you saved my grades I also hope your health gets much much better and you are able to achieve all your goals! 🧡🧡🧡
I am so glad that you uploaded this. Thank you for your honesty and I wish you to feel better asap! Good luck with everything. You are very strong and inspiring ❤️
I send you a lot of love ❤️❤️❤️❤️You are an example for everyone. Being sick and working and writing a book shows how strong you are. I wish you all the best for this new year and that all your health problems can finally be solved ❤
Hello, Elena. You are my biggest inspiration for pursuing my master's degree, which is something that I ended up doing now. I'm very grateful for that. I've had similar experience, and I know full well how it's like to have health problems which hinder your daily activities. I felt anxious all the time, worrying if I did something wrong after my surgery. Whenever the pain came, I blamed myself for not exercising properly as part of my rehabilitation. I'm amazed that you can do something like writing a book while being sick, but I guess that's just how you are. You always come back stronger, and I'm delighted to have you back!
I started watching your videos while I was finishing my Abitur (and I still wanted to go to Cambridge as well until Brexit happened and it wasn't financially possible anymore). Now I'm in the middle of my preparations for the German bar exam and I had the worst joint flare up recently. Only thanks to my gf did I dare to go to the doctor again after soooo many "just push through" comments from others and now I'm having my first appointment with a specialist in 2 weeks. I'm finally hopeful I can actually have a somewhat doable life (your video was just the confirmation I needed). Thank you for sharing your story and making other people like me feel less alone!
Oh man you have been through the ringer. And you managed to write a book while in it, wow! You were missed here on youtube but health comes first ❤ wish you a new easier chapter in the new year!
I had a scoliosis surgery too, I know the struggle you talked about so well, of course im lucky that I have gone through the process without that type of complications, im really happy that you are starting to get better now. One look into the future, I had my surgery 4 years ago, and basic stuff like sitting is sooo much better now. Exercising definetly helps quite a lot. Pain will lessen although it will reappear once in a while and stay for a while but its managable, atleast in my case. Although I think you already considered it, please test different chairs, I sit about 7-8 hours a day bc of my job, and different chairs had a lot of different effects on my back pain, especially muscular one after sitting for long hours. So I can only recommend you to try and test some different chairs aswell as different settings for them, for example, one thats more loose so you could lean back always helped me to relieve some strain from my muscles but thats just preference. I wish you all the best and am happy youre back. Btw I slaughtered the english grammar enough atp, I know this im just to lazy to correct it :D
I wish you good health and sending you love. I believe 2025 will be better for you and me too. I had a rough time since 2023 and ofc not as rough as you but I still feel 2025 is gonna be better.
First of all I'm so sorry to hear all of what you've been throught. I'm so impress of your strength and I wish you the best of the recoveries! Those autoinmune dissease seem to be very rought. I follow a dr who has a few of them and sometimes talk about it and looks a real challenge to face. Hope you find the specialist you need to help you manage your health. I'm another one who met you for your studies with me and I'm so happy to see you back! We were missing you! 💖
I’m so happy you’re feeling a bit better Elena! I’m someone who used to study with you daily during quarantine and I always admired your discipline and persistence, it’s good to see you on RUclips again :) I wish you strength, health and happiness going forward!
Oh Elena, I'm so sorry you had to deal with all of this, I can't imagine the frustration, fear and exhaustion you had to go through. You're so incredibly resilient and inspiring, I hope you get much better only ❤️
I am literally crying. I really hope you are finally able to recover now.❤ Can't wait to see more content again from you. I have been re-watching some of your old vlogs every now and then because they always give me so much motivation to crack on with my work.💪
happy to see you back! you're lucky to be in Europe, this extensive healthcare would be borderline impossible to access in the US, let alone the costs. good luck with your new job and I look forward to more english content.
even in Australia where we have universal healthcare, this sort of timeline for healthcare is impossible. kudos to Germany for having it together when it comes to healthcare
Wow, your journey has been really tough and look at you just doing your best and not giving up. That is beyond inspiring! Not everyone could handle this and that is totally okay. You can be very proud of yourself, it surely hasn‘t been easy, but you made it.
I got excited when I saw the notification on my phone that you uploaded again. I'm looking forward to your next videos and wish you all the best, especially in terms of your health 😊 PS: your boyfriend sounds like the most wholesome person ever, it's so beautiful to hear that he supports you during all the lows
You´re a real fighter Elena! Welcome back! I think it is incredible that you still went for that job, must have been incredibly hard, with the situation/pain etc going on. I was wondering: At the job interviews, did you mention your medical situation?
Welcome back! I’ve missed your videos! Wow you sure have been through a lot! I hope and wish thing’s turns around for you now. Will your book be translated to English? Even though I learned German in school for 6 years (long time ago) I don’t think I can read it. Anyway it’s good to see you here again! ❤
Alles gute
Riesen Respekt an deinen Freund!
I literally went through your profile and old videos a day before u posted this. I actually wanted to join your discord book community. I thought u might be active there. But it was kind of dead, so I left. And just next day u posted this. However, I was kind of busy past 2 days so I am here watching it today. I just like knowing you. Since we are same age, it feels like a friend.
That was a lot your body was put through😮 I hope you get a good balance in your life with all the medications. Does the new immunosuppressive have a lot of side effects as well?
I too have ulcerative colitis, so unfortunately I know the incessant abdominal pain. Unfortunately autoimmune diseases like to appear in pairs and sometimes in larger groups. I have, in addition to UC, Hashimoto's, psoriasis, and PCOS (the latter not classified as autoimmune, but likes to occur with them). Doctors also suspect endometriosis. I also have a yet-to-be-diagnosed stomach problem and a sinus problem. I presumed that you have some health problems and that is why there are no new videos. In addition, with autoimmune diseases there is often anxiety and depression. Perhaps the solution would be to slightly re-profile the channel towards topics of dealing with autoimmune diseases? This is an increasingly prevalent problem. In any case, nice to see you. ❤ You helped to motivate me and I was studying together with you during Covid. I wish you to get well soon!
I am glad you feel better did you ever think about taking a few years just for your health like it seems you still have a lot off work while being sick I wish you all the best for this year just saying this because you are still young and this toxic hustle culture it takes some time to realize it doesn’t make anyone happy :)
of course, focus on health first please ❤ but it's not necessary to make long videos if you're not comfortable, you just make some reels and upload them on insta and yt cus we love watching your content 😭💗
I clicked as soon as I saw.... We missed you.... Please upload atleast once every 2 months or so... It's not youtube without you... You are really strong elena I would have never been able to go through all that and survive.... Proud of you

Cuidate mucho.
✨THE QUEEN IS BACK✨
Haha thank you!

Still watching and very impressed at how strong and brave you are. I hope 2025 will be much nicer to you and your body.

Thank you🤍
I am so happy to see you back on RUclips . You are such an aspiration for me .

You are so strong! Please gives us some updates, even if they are short and unedited, we are all rooting for you!
Thank you for sharing that. I have tears in my eyes. I'm so happy for you that you have so much support from your boyfriend amd your family.
I have been re-watching some of your old vlogs every now and then because they always give me so much motivation to crack on with my work.💪
Happy to see you are doing better Elena !! Take care as health is always the first priority ✨
Great to see you Back Elena.
Glad to have you back.
Wishing you all the very best, Elena!
Thank you!
OMGGGG YOU'VE FINALLY RETURNED!!! So happy to see you and hear your voice after so many years 💗
happy to see you back! you're lucky to be in Europe, this extensive healthcare would be borderline impossible to access in the US, let alone the costs. good luck with your new job and I look forward to more english content.
even in Australia where we have universal healthcare, this sort of timeline for healthcare is impossible. kudos to Germany for having it together when it comes to healthcare
We love and miss you so much. Welcome back! ❤️
Wow, your journey has been really tough and look at you just doing your best and not giving up. That is beyond inspiring! Not everyone could handle this and that is totally okay. You can be very proud of yourself, it surely hasn‘t been easy, but you made it.
Thank you so much🤍
I got excited when I saw the notification on my phone that you uploaded again. I'm looking forward to your next videos and wish you all the best, especially in terms of your health 😊
PS: your boyfriend sounds like the most wholesome person ever, it's so beautiful to hear that he supports you during all the lows
You´re a real fighter Elena! Welcome back! I think it is incredible that you still went for that job, must have been incredibly hard, with the situation/pain etc going on. I was wondering: At the job interviews, did you mention your medical situation?
Looking forward to your videos ❤
I really missed you elena, I am glad to see you here again ❤
Elena, it's so wonderful to see you coming back after such a long break, I hope you will get well soon
Great to see you back 🎉
Welcome back! I’ve missed your videos! Wow you sure have been through a lot! I hope and wish thing’s turns around for you now. Will your book be translated to English? Even though I learned German in school for 6 years (long time ago) I don’t think I can read it. Anyway it’s good to see you here again! ❤
Alles gute
so happy that you‘re back 🥰
Glad to see you back! Wishing you good health this 2025🎉
So glad to see you back!! we missed you ❤
We missed you! The whole health situations looks like one complete nightmare, but i'm glad you're doing better♥
Yay we missed you❤🎉
welcome back!! best wishes for 2025
I still watch your video bc it gave me a lot of motivation❤... I hope you get better in the future 🙏 and come withe new video 😊
I missed you so much!
That was a lot your body was put through😮 I hope you get a good balance in your life with all the medications. Does the new immunosuppressive have a lot of side effects as well?
OUR QUEEN IS BACK 😭🫀❤️❤️
We missed you.. Love from India
Missed you ❤
mother is mothering
Welcome back gurl
of course, focus on health first please ❤ but it's not necessary to make long videos if you're not comfortable, you just make some reels and upload them on insta and yt cus we love watching your content 😭💗
Hi Elena 😊
I miss you so much ❤
