I'm studying Law right now in Belgium and my father would pay if I go to Cambridge, but I don't know if I'm intelligent enough and I'm not sure about my use of English ...
You should definitely go if you have the chance. You have alot more to gain than you have to lose and the people at the school are definitely hardworking and smart but you don't need to be intelligent to do very well in the classes just have to increase workload a bit.
knightarnaud Don't worry so much about the few cynical individuals that would go as far as to say something that ignorant. The majority of the people won't mind the accent and understand that English isn't your first language. There's alot of hurdles in life and if you keep worrying about little things like that you won't get anywhere. Believe in yourself a bit and you'll surely be able to improve your English and your writing!
Anyone of you guys know what the song's called that's playing during the last minute of the film? I've been trying to listen to the words, but I can't hear it cause of the talk; my ears will start bleeding soon. I think the girl is singing "I'm just a foreign in a paradise" or smth like that, but I'm not sure - Google is not helpful! Thanks
would like to know what materiality the architect has used in the south facade of the building, since in the different information I have not been able to find specifically that facade. Thank you very much!
Good because I want to study natural sciences (the physical sciences) at the university of cambridge. Do you happen to know how often the lectures are for natural sciences.
This building is a great project by Norman Foster, I would love to have pictures of all the interiors of the building to complete my architectural plans with more details, if you could help me I would be very grateful.
Dear Karen, there are lots and lots of photographs of the Faculty on our Flickr stream, including some of the construction process. You can check them out here: www.flickr.com/photos/cambridgelawfaculty/albums
Funny how EU Law went from a quasi-serious academic subject to Legal History in less than a decade; I remember when I was there many professors were secretly keen to see the back of it, as its opaque 'harmonised judgements', lack of independence from political interference, and inadequate legal reasoning fell significantly short of the bar set by English law at Cambridge over the centuries. I distinctly remember the phrase 'kangaroo court' used for the ECJ on a number of occasions...
Thank you very much for sharing this beautiful video.. I could see the law faculty around Cambridge.. It's quite different than science field tho.. But it's interesting to see.. Thanks 😁
When u say a copy every book ever published in the UK do u also mean story books too, would we even be able to find Agatha Christie books or anything like that in the libraries?
Hi guys-I have a question for applying to Cambridge- should I apply with these GCSE grades? Maths-9 Eng Lit-8 Eng lang-9 Phys-9 Chem-9 Bio-9 RE-9 History-8 German-7
Hi there, I am from The Gambia, I want to study law at Cambridge. My country is not on the list and I would want to know the equivalent qualification requirement.
The filming is damn horrible who is the camaraperson, he/she is yanking the camera around everywhere. It is all over the place. This is so poorly produced I'd be ashamed to upload it. It just seems like it was done haphazardly.
You are correct that this is not a polished, well-produced publicity piece. We thought potential applicants would appreciate an honest, student's-eye view of the Law degree at Cambridge. It was therefore shot by the Law students, who are not particularly selected for their film making abilities!
Come on Cambridge you can do better than dis. The London 1 in particuliar shud not be used to promote your law corse. Over-priviligid and under-deserving lyk many of the students there a damming piece of evidense as to what our education sistem has become. Why wud any1 want to apply knowin that they might meet sum1 like dat? I'll be sendin my childrin to Oxferd.
It would have been nice to have seen a broader range of the students. Yes, it does just give the impression that it's a place for the white privileged. Where are the non white representatives? This is what I dont like. Especially as I know of other ethnicities that have attended Cambridge!
Cambridge is absolutely my dream school. I'd be good if you'd make a video about interview and admission to cambridge
Have you had a look at Cambridge Law Interviews: Louis and Interviews in relation to interviews?
Or generally, if you are looking at undergraduate admissions, all the videos in the playlist at ruclips.net/p/PLy4oXRK6xgzFK6j1RufJO4IM7fsQ0xCCO
I love the casual discourse between all the mates. I love the lifestyle of you all. Intellectuals at day time and night time, well done.
Can't believe I got an offer for Law from here!
What college?
congratulations to you!
It reminds me with my old days .... long time ago ... Thank you ...
This remind me of my student days.
Have you ever got lost in the university library
This looks amazingly fun! Long live the dream of me studying law.
And it is hard work too ....
this place is so beautiful!

Good because I want to study either natural sciences or engineering at cambridge university
I still think Harvard/Yale are the dream law schools.

Are all lectures that you have in the faculty or do you ever travel to colleges for them?

Do they do tutorials at Cambridge, or is it unique to Oxford?
Cambridge has supervisions, which is effectively the same thing.
The guy from London is hot
bit short
Exchange of information and exchange of information on laws.
I am just wondering if I could still apply to Cambridge law even after finishing a year at another unviersity?
You shouldn't transfer if you aren't studying law. Get a GDL after you graduate, which is offered at both Oxford and Cambridge
@@elicrowleyycontreras1135 Neither Oxford or Cambridge University offer the GDL.
@@elicrowleyycontreras1135 lol
