Oh my god.... That final part to this song... It hits so FUCKING HARD OMG. "Condemned and betrayed, now everythings said. See my eyes full of tears and the cruel price weve paid, but still i cant claim, that im innocent.... Lost......" And with that i am now crying my eyes out for poor fingolfin. He was so good and redeemed in my eyes. His brother feanor is the root of all trickery and lies but only because he was so susceptible to morgoth. Feanor got twisted up by the words of melkor. And man does that passage hurt. Hearing the word "lost" at the end of this song is what did it for me. I felt fingolfins pain and i felt it DEEPLY.
@@Nightcrawl7 A lot of these mixes seemed like they were trying to take the "boom" out of the drums and bass. It was especially noticeable in songs like this and Battlefield.
Nice, but prefer the old recording much much more. I think the original old is the metal album ive listened the most in my life since a friend recorded it to me in a casette back in 98 or 97.

The more I learn about the Silmarillion the more I appreciate this album. Such a harrowing and tragic saga.

Each track is definitely more clear here and Its a nice mix but I still prefer the original
yeah the tracks are a lot clearer but the vocals are so quiet
