Cats are awesome cats like other animals do not need an excuse to hate... ONLY us humans do that. Then we use things like Religion location to cast judgment upon each other.

Mine does the same, she'll lay in the hallway where she has all bedrooms covered and can see me in the living room. Sleeps with me and the wife, going between us as we turn over and disturb her spot.
Mine sleeps in the hallway and is right in the center of my apartment where all the rooms connect to each other. She can keep an eye on everything from there.
There was a stretch where i had really bad night terrors and would wake up screaming almost every night. My Tortie Lily started climbing into bed with me and when night terrors would start, she started clawing me awake before they got too bad. Good kitty.
Just to note: cats can have nightmares too. It's just we usually don't notice bc we don't watch them sleep. So I made my cat a spot to sleep in front of my computer monitor, so I could watch he sleeping while I work remotely. When she started shaking during her sleep I petted her and her shaking instantly stopped and she continued to sleep peacefully. It became her favourite spot to sleep super fast bc it was the only spot where she wouldn't have those nightmares 😢
my cat and I both have severe nightmares, and we’re on “cuddle duty” with each other- if I notice her having a nightmare, I’ll go curl up around her and hold her close (usually she wakes up, but sees it’s me, purrs, and then goes back to sleep), and if I’m not around when she wakes up from one on her own, she’ll use a very specific meow to let me know she had a bad dream and needs my comfort. and on the other side, if she notices that I’m having a nightmare, she’ll crawl into my arms so as soon as I wake up I see her and feel better. she’s just too precious
One of my cats would follow me (without me knowing) for ~1 km, when I went to visit friends. He would then march in through their front door, come straight to me, and sit at my feet, staring at me. He didn't "check in" on me....He stalked me. His sister would turn up within 5 minutes.
My cat sometimes accompanies me or my mom, or both of us to the nearest grocery store, sits on the porch while I or my mom are shopping, and then goes back with us. We jokingly call her the cat-dog, since she waits for us like a dog would (and actually more calmly than some dogs would, she doesn't meow, and only sometimes checks on us to see if we're coming out yet 😅 She's just the sweetest
You needed to call animal control for abuse. And maybe new friends, cause if that was your boyfriend everyone would be like awe hell naw and call the 🚨🚨🚨🚓🚓 police!! That cat is abusing you!! You need space! ( Hehe, joke aside this is a fun little story )
Cats, like dogs, feel more secure knowing their humans are all right. I had a cat that went deaf. Not being able to hear the bustle of her humans made her very distressed. Had they abandoned her? She started yowling loudly in the middle of the night. One look at one of us and she was back to normal.
My cat recently has gone blind & now she does something similar VERY frequently. Like she’s fine if she hears you but if it’s quiet she’ll come looking & want to touch you 😢 The poor babies.
Cats do get anxious and sympathetic about your welfare. If ever you start singing in the house, they will come and fuss around you. Its not that they appreciate your singing, but they think you are hurt and crying in pain!
My Sophie is such a tonic. She is highly intelligent. I was confined to bed ill. Sophie stayed by my side, then went to hospital had been very ill and spent 3 weeks. Since being home she has been so protective. She follows me everywhere, when cooking in the kitchen she watches over me, in the bathroom having a shower she sits next to the cubicle. She sleeps on my bed umm I sleep on her bed 😊. She is the ultimate companion.
The sweet ginger tabby from across the street stops by and "knocks" on my door to let me know he's thinking of me. I'm NOT kidding! He's one incredible feline pal! I just pray and hope that adorable and sweet cat remains safe crossing my street. 😻❤
@@aaaaaaaaooooooo He "knocks" on the door and then waits for a few minutes. I always let him in -- no matter the weather. I always have plenty of food for him. He's quite "unusual" and that's a great and sweet thing! Cheers! - Yours truly and "Charlie Ginger Tigger" 😺😸😻❤
@@k.w.9002 I pray and hope that adorable ginger cat remains safe crossing the street. My pal, "Charlie Ginger Tigger" comes right in, as well. Ginger tabbies are some of the sweetest and most-loving cats on this planet! Give him a hug from me and "Charlie Ginger Tigger." 😸😻❤
People like to joke that cats “own” us, think of themselves as royalty, or only respect food sources, but they are actually naturally-social creatures with huge amounts of empathy. The way they act and communicate is just different than humans and I wish people understood that more. :(
Weirdly, I don't get that. My cat pushes things off tables and desks when I'm awake, and sleeps beside me when I sleep, either by my head, or just out of reach of my feet. He seems okay with my biphasic sleep, since it's quite short intervals of about 2-3 hours (I've only needed more than 6 hours of sleep when I've been ill, I'm just a natural short sleeper). He does do a last minute zoomy before sleep though - when I lay down, he snuggles with me for a bit to get me settled into bed, then goes on a rampage for five minutes before re-joining me. After that, he's there with me through the entire sleep cycle, occasionally stirring me a bit when he gets up and swaps where he's sleeping next to me.
Lol so true! Just like when I don't hear my 5 yr old son playing...I don't usually think something is wrong...I go to check on him because when he is silent...it's usually because he is doing something he isn't supposed to be doing! Lol
When I get sick, my cat Dax stays in the bed with me by my pillow. When I was asleep in the bathtub once, my cat Crookshanks meowed in my ear really loud. I think he was trying to keep me from drowning. There's no way I was going to drown, but he didn't know that. I have some really nurturing cats.
@@Kshsgdhksls I appreciate the concern, but I'm too big to drown accidentally. I have to work hard to get my head underwater in the tub. I'm safe. I promise. Thank you for the concern though!
@@kietsuhimeCant your body just adjust if your asleep and try seek a more comfortable or lower position for your head even if it means putting your legs higher? In that kind of event you would probably drown
I'm an unwell man and my cat looks after me as though she is a little nurse. We share the double bed in the guest room sometimes and she sleeps on two pillows and my head is on the other two. I kid you not- I woke up to her gently stroking my head with one paw 2 days ago. It was beautiful. We don't give cats enough credit for just how intelligent they are.
That’s so sweet. My female cat is so receptive to my emotions and health that at times she knows something is wrong before I do. She gets worried whenever I cry or am in emotional distress. I love cats so much lol.
@@suncrestt4839 Aww lovely. They are little angels honestly. Ours is a rescue cat, previous owner was also ill and ended up passing away. She stays right by my side every time the paramedics come to take me to hospital and on the nights I'm away from home she will sleep where I last slept until I come home.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Ino sounds like an incredible cat with a special bond with you. It's amazing how our furry friends can sense our emotions and bring us comfort. Sending you lots of love during this tough time. 💔🐾
When my girlfriend tripped and fell and broke her ankle our cat literally jumped out of the top of the cat tree running to her, she just knew something bad had happened and she has done this several other times for other reasons. She is extremely protectful and often just comes aroubd to make sure you are ok.
I got one of my horrible cluster migraines when I was house sitting for my family, I was also watching our new family member and he was just a few months in. But I remember falling asleep in the sofa and covering my head trying to get relieve when I felt our new family member lay its whole body on my chest and purr. I couldn’t help but shed a tear not from pain but from how much I loved him for even noticing let alone trying to help me. Jojo is always going to have a place In my heart from that day on. A great kitty!
On Mayo Clinic site, one thing mentioned that may help prevent cluster headache/migraine is a calcium channel blocker. Magnesium is a natural calcium channel blocker.
I've heard that some cats and dogs can actually sense a change inside of you before something serious is going to happen, and alert you. I have a friend who has seizures now and then, and her cat can sense it. She crawls all over my friend and even paws at her when she is asleep. And she does this right before my friend has a seizure. Everytime. So my friend knows to move to a safe spot just in case she does have one. It's amazing!
@@w1975b I’ve tried magnesium but not for a long time or for my migraines but I’ll give it a shot! If it helps it would be a god sent so I really want to thank you! 😀

My cat, Domino, knew something was up and that there was stress and commotion in the house when I was getting ready to leave for uni. She’d check in on me when I was packing and gave me a send off. She also knew when my dog was dying. She’d head butt and snuggle up with my poor old lady when she clearly had only a few more days in her. Cats can be incredibly intuitive, much like dogs.
Awww that is so incredibly sweet. Probably telling your old lady that everything would be ok and not to be frightened. And that they will see each other again one day at the Rainbow bridge! ❤😢🌈🌁 Hope you're doing ok after losing your little loved one.
Lol...yup! Like they just wanted to make sure there wasn't any hanky panty going on or something fun going on that they are missing out on. Once they know that there is nothing...back out they go!
My two cats growing up would search and "capture" anyone who was in bed sick and stay with them. One year, Mom, Dad, and my two sisters and I had the flu and were all in our respective rooms. Those two furballs were jumping from room to room, bed to bed trying to take care of us all. It was so great.
My cat and I have enough of a bond that we can legitimately communicate. If I want him to leave a room, it’s a quick gesture and a “c’mon buddy, gotta go.” and he trots out of the room with a trill. I have also learned to understand HIS meows and gestures. He’s not Velcro, but he’s always hanging out either upstairs under my sheets or otherwise somewhere in the same room as me.
We have 2 cats. They are both vocal and have their own language that I've learned to understand. My husband will always ask me what one of them is doing when we can hear them "talking" in the other room or right in front of us. My girl Lucy makes a certain long cry when she wants me to come into the den to play fetch with her pink ball. I hear jer and when I walk in the room, there she is sitting there with her little ball on the floor in front of her. My black cat, Buddy...has his own language with me too. He will run up to me when I'm sitting somewhere, and hop up next to me and sit with his back facing me. If I don't acknowledge him (I do this on purpose), he will turn his head towards me and make a loud CHIRP! Like he is saying IM HERE! PET ME! ❤
My cat IS a god emperor. His name is Kirby but his full name is Kirben-Ra, Pharaoh of All Land the Sun’s Light Touches, Source of the Nile, Son of Bastet.
I (sadly) don't have a cat. But the four different neighbour's cats used to ALWAYS fight over which one of them gets to sit on my lap. I genuinely miss some of the kitties since they, and their providers, moved away. One of their providers still texts me to let me know how my furry friend is doing. ^_^
My cat could somehow tell when I’d be coming home from college for the weekend, to the point that on the times when I didn’t come home on Fridays my parents reported he would get frantic and start searching the house, especially my room.
My cat sits where I can see her, looking sad. It's a guilt trip tactic. The moment I start walking toward her, she runs over and climbs up onto her tower and lays in her basket waiting for her scritches..
Whenever I'm sick or feeling sad, they always stay by my side. I always thought only dogs were like that, but cats are super empathetic and get concerned when somethings wrong.
lol. I had a cat who did this. My backyard was pretty much a catio. They have a cat door that they could go in and out through. There was a window included in the area that looked into the room I was usually in. He would quite often be seen looking in to see me. Sometimes he’d even come running in, sometimes meowing, run right to me, touch me, get a pat and then go back outside. Interestingly enough there were times you just KNEW he wanted me to follow, then sit outside and watch him doing whatever.
I know someone who has a cat that predicts her headaces. He always curls around her head when she is about to get sick. We have no idea how it works but it's fascinating.
I wouldn't be surprised if the cat could smell a hormone change or hear something going on that humans don't perceive. Their senses are stronger than ours. Dogs are too and dogs can be trained to detect stuff like cancer and seizures.
I have maladaptive daydreaming disorder and my boy INCESSANTLY checks on me when I spend too long in it - sometimes most of the day. He meows, jumps up and pats me all over, nibbles sometimes on my arm, whines and rolls onto my body. I can get annoyed sometimes but pretty quick I just sigh and love on him in appreciation. He's a sweetheart! ❤️ Few people in my life would believe this since my boy is seen as mean, antisocial, and very intimidating. I think he's rude most of the time because he is sensitive and only has the energy to be kind if someone really needs it ❤️ That makes his kindness even more special to experience because you know he's deliberately making the choice to do it when he does! And, yes, it's usually when people seriously need emotional support. I've seen people absolutely melt and bawl their eyes out when he suddenly gets loving with them in their moments of need!
I had 2 cats, and had abdominal surgery. Both kitties got along, but one promptly decided he was my guardian and kept the other pets not just off the bed but out of the bedroom until I was up and around.
I am a kitty servant, I’m ALWAYS but always pleased to see them, the absolute love high I get whenever they look at me is something I’m sure every cat parent knows 😻😻😻❤
A few times, when my sister got sick in the middle of the night, I'd sleep out in the living room (we shared a divided bedroom) in my sleeping bag while Mom helped her multiple times in the night when I couldn't stay awake to help. Both times, I woke up in the morning and found our cats sleeping with me on the floor. I guess they were equally worried about her and understood why I was there (exhausted, didn't want to get sick, needed a quieter place to sleep) and slept with me to comfort me as well as comfort themselves, and to keep my temperature up so I could stay well. One of the cats never slept with me otherwise (though he did prefer a bigger bed and saw Mom as his mom since she found him as a stray kitten when he didn't even have his eyes open yet).
Pets are members of our communities/families, and i believe they pick jobs in their families. My grandma had a black cat named Pilgrim, and he decided i was his job. He was the shadow of my every step whenever i went up there to visit from the time i was about 2 years old. My dad even says he could tell the difference between when his car contained me and when it did not, as Pilgrim would come running up to the driveway only when I was in the car with him. Pilgrim kept little toddler me safe and kept me from getting lost on those 36 acres of wild woods, he would bat at me or taunt me until i wanted to play with him so i would stay away from the cliffs. I didn't even know there were cliffs until i was closer to 10, basically when i no longer had him to stop me. I like to think his ghost still checks in, and that's part of why my current cats get the random zoomies sometimes. They're just playing with Pilgrim.❤
This was on and in came Betty, right on time. She comes and checks on me every 10/15 mins. She seems to just want it to be me and her, if a cat comes to see us, she turns into a little banshee, hissing like mad. 🐱🐱❤️❤️
Making sure the servants are still in the house and not goofing off on the job. Because somebody has to make dinner, keep the litter box clean, provide heat or a/c as required, leave out baskets of clean laundry to nap on and shed all over.
The voice over reminds me of guy who narrated Battleblock Theater lmao Love the "Alien" reason though. Some cats are so smart, I think they really do want to understand
When my cats are outside and I'm in the living room watching TV or playing a game, the cats will every five minutes or so jump on the window to look at me, then they want me to open the window to let them in. Then they come in, look at me, then walk right back to the door and meow to be let out, and this will go on all day until nightfall when it's time for bed. Then they don't meow at the door usually. Idk why they do that, it's very annoying having to constantly open the window, but at the end of the day I love them with all my heart, and enjoy all the time I get to spend with them. Their lives are too short, and 12 or so years aren't enough. But I will be reunited with all my loved ones in heaven, and that is the only consolation I have. Both human and animal families. Together forever, with no tears, fear, or pain. Only joy forever with the Father.
Cats feel like they should be able to get to and from wherever they want to. My cats dont go outdoors because my house is just 15 feet from a very fast road and also ATV trail, the sounds outside terrify them. But in the house if a door is closed that they think should be open they are unhappy. I don't always want my basement door open so its closed all the time. Sometimes they want thru the door but theyve learned it only opens very rarely and i guard it sometimes because i dont want them down there all the time. So they give up easily when they do want thru. Because your cats want to come in and out whenever they feel like it, if you comply with them everytime they will become even more frustrated if you don't let them in. I think its good to just accept it and love their little annoyances, but the truth is that if you don't want them to do that, it just means ignoring them sometimes so they will learn that the window isn't always going to open on their command every 5 minutes.
@makeshift_battlefield_music Yeah, I know, and I guess I should be firmer with them, but I can't help it. They have fun going outside, and we live in the country, so I just deal with it. When the mosquitoes aren't bad, I leave the windows open for them so they can mosey about at their own leisure. I used to never think I'd like cats until they all just wandered onto my property and never left, so I adopted the four of them, I felt so bad for them not having a home, that I just kept them. It's been like that my whole life, I've never had to go to a pound or shelter. Animals have always just wandered in and stayed. Before, it was dogs, and now cats. Idk what brings them here. God, I reckon, but im always happy to see them come and decide to live here. My wife is a soft ass like I am, too, and she can't turn them away either, so it works out. I'm fine with the little annoyances cause I know one day I'll miss them more than anything else.
Cats are so smart. When I visit my parents, I give one of the neighbours' cats some dry cat food. He spends a lot of time in our garden, and we have the impression that he is not getting all the food he'd like at home. ... Anyway, freeloading cat 1 usually makes an appearance each day. A couple of days ago, freeloading cat 2 appeared, apparently hungry. She got some dry cat food, too. We assume these cats must have been talking to each other.
It's gonna sound like I'm making this up but I swear I'm not. One time I was sitting at my desk playing a game on my PC with a controller and I decided to take a break to grab some water, so I placed the controller on the desk and left the room. When I returned, my cat was sitting on his hind legs in my chair with his body extended upward and he was trying to put his two front paws on the face of the controller. It may have been coincidence but he's been known to imitate things he sees me do before, actually it's pretty common, he knows how to use door knobs and handles (though sometimes they're too slick or stiff for him to use he still tries) , he'll open drawers and cabinets right after I've just closed them to try and figure out what I was doing on them, and if I leave my phone unattended he paws at the screen until he gets it to light up. Like I said, it could be coincidence, but knowing him and having seen that he's particularly intelligent and curious when it comes to human activities I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he was trying to imitate what he saw me doing with the controller that day.
Sometimes the protector thing goes both ways. Like if the cat can smell sickness on their human, they're more likely to check up on you and try to comfort you through it.
My friend found a kitten. He already had other 4 adult cats. They accepted her. One day I was playing with the kitten, suddenly one of the cats rushed through the room and stopped near the kitten looking at her, being still for a bunch of seconds. Then he got away. He was checking her to be fine 😊
My cat guards the bathroom door while I do my business. IDK who she's protecting me from, we live alone, but I'm thankful she understands that I'm vulnerable with my pants around my ankles. 😂
My kittie has taken the role of guardian and healer of my injured ribs and bad back which has made it hard to walk and stand. So she has become my bed side nurse as it were.
Last winter I had COVID and RSV back to back and I was VERY sick. My cat was by my side the entire time. He followed me wherever I went and slept next to me every night. He left my side only to eat and use his box. This was unusual behavior. Though we love each other, he rarely sleeps with me and we each do our own things throughout the day. Once I started feeling better, his behavior returned to normal.
I think cats in general like music that’s not too loud. My cat will come and do the squinty eyes when I listen to certain music (((she loves Glass Animals)))
We have a full house with two adults and three younger cats and the young ones (all from the same litter) love the blinking light box. We'll often put birdfeeder videos on for them while working and they love it.
A lot of times my old girl didn't want much to do with me, but heaven help us all if I wasn't in my room by a certain time every night. She stood at the top of the stairs and did this funny little grunting meow until I went to bed, but she still didn't really want me to pet her as often as my other cats do. I miss my little Nanny.
Mine do that too... straight to the shopping "what's in the bags Mum? Mum, did U get stuff for us? We know there's food in these somewhere..." they're as bad as my SON used to be - lol
The boys always check everything we bring back home, especially the eldest. We just say he's an imports inspector who takes his job very seriously. Good job, Henry.
As an ambivert, I do this to those around me. I'll just peek in their room to see what they're doing or just to be around them for a few seconds. It's a comfort knowing someone is there with me.
As a kid if I would have a bad day at school and go to my room close the door and cry there was one of our 3 cats would always come and scratch on the door until I let him in.
My cats like spiders, I live butted up to a forest and get some pretty US quarter size and up spiders. I always find them dead with the back side missing.
My cat used to stalk me from room to room ❤. 😂 Another cat I had, when I was a child, spent weeks watching over me when I was bedridden with an illness.
I am pretty confident that my cat is an alien, one that has been assigned to watch us incognito and this was the best disguise they could come up with. Have a look at your cats face from the right angle and see how much they look like the typical "grey" alien.
Lol! When our grandson was 😂4 ( at that time in a ‘dog’ family’i drew an ‘alien’ for him starting with the eyes, when I got to the ears his exasperated response was great! BTW he now has a cat!
My one kitty will sleep with her head pressed against mine when i have migraines. The other will come in and scream at me to make sure im alive like a toddler 😂
My cats constantly check on me. When Im sitting in the lounge room, they mill in and out of the room, eventually settling into their own spaces. When I leave the room, they leave as well.
I didn't expect this to actually be useful. I have an old ex-stray cat who was living here when we moved in, and likes to follow me around when I go outside and sit on my chest. Lately she's been trying to push open my mum's bedroom door and when she gets in she does a sweep of the room then leaves, or curls up on her bed to sleep. It just occurred to me she may not just be looking for snacks or a cosy place to sleep, but is simply wanting to check in on my mum and see what she's up to. Most of the time I think she's hoping for more food though. She has the starved mentality of a cat that went a long time without food.
"If you keep giving them treats and affection when they pop in, they'll keep doing it. You're essentially rewarding the behaviour". You're talking like that's a bad thing, I love attention from cats! When my family used to cat-sit a lovely cat (I may have been a tad obsessed with her), she used to pop in when we were eating dinner in the dining room. She'd come in, do a set circuit around me and under the table, and return to her living room zone. I'd also pop by to check on her when I went to get more rice from the rice cooker appliance.
My cat thinks I'm hiding snacks from him. And he's right.
My cat knows I hide snacks from him. He's a big fan of bread and bread accessories
without opposable thumbs, it's up to -humans- cat servants to open them when they desire.

Cats and humans evolutionarily diverged from a common ancestor (boreoeutherian ancestor) approximately 80 million years ago, accumulating only 10-12 chromosomal translocations.[68] The order of eight genes on the cats' Y chromosome closely resembles that in humans.[69] Genes on X chromosomes of cats and humans are arranged in a similar way. A 2007 study revealed that 90% of human and cat genes are homologous, meaning that they were inherited from a common ancestor. Do you know how genetically close your feline is it to you? You may have thought that dogs would be a little closer to humans on the evolutionary scale, but it turns out that cats actually have 90.2% of the DNA in common with us! You read that right! A 2007 study found that about 90% of the genes in the Abyssinian domestic cat are similar to humans. The cat and human genomes each contain approximately 2.5-3 billion base pairs. Yes! According to Teresa Manucy, DVM, a veterinarian at VCA Fleming Island Animal Hospital, cats can recognize and differentiate their name from other household pets' names. She says this recognition is likely due to positive reinforcement or a cat's association of their name with attention, food, or play. Plus Cat domestication took place in two strains, but all domestic cats have a common ancestor: the North African / Southwest Asian wildcat, Felis silvestris lybica. Other scientists have also discovered another potential instance of cat domestication. Jean-Denis Vigne studied skeletal remains of cats in China and found that there may have been a short-lived domestication of leopard cats in China, independent of domestication elsewhere (Vigne et al., 2016). However, they did not find evidence that any present day domesticated cats are related to leopard cats, so if there was a time that they were domesticated, it did not last ( Another interesting element of the history of cat domestication has to do with cat coat patterns. Cats are awesome cats like other animals do not need an excuse to hate... ONLY us humans do that. Then we use things like Religion location to cast judgment upon each other.
Also Cats and humans evolutionarily diverged from a common ancestor (boreoeutherian ancestor) approximately 80 million years ago, accumulating only 10-12 chromosomal translocations.[68] The order of eight genes on the cats' Y chromosome closely resembles that in humans.[69] Genes on X chromosomes of cats and humans are arranged in a similar way. A 2007 study revealed that 90% of human and cat genes are homologous, meaning that they were inherited from a common ancestor. Do you know how genetically close your feline is it to you? My cat does do that, hahaha. He did it to me earlier when I made a video. He photo bombed it with his tail.
To be fair…you might!
AND WITH ANOTHER CAT!!!!! Or a dog, GOD FORBID!!!!
I notice my cat hangs out in strategic locations in the house that allow her to have an eye or ear on everyone in the house.
Of coarse they care about their Hooman servants, they spent a lot of time training us..
Mine does the same he likes the hallway so he can see all the doors to the rooms and look at me while I'm on my computer lol
My cat does the same.
Good kitty.
That’s really sweet and beautiful. I had the same experience, his purring made everything okay again
That is absolutely adorable 🥺@@zeykriid
So your cat knew exactly when Freddy Krueger entered your dream zone? Smart kitty.
One of my cats would follow me (without me knowing) for ~1 km, when I went to visit friends. He would then march in through their front door, come straight to me, and sit at my feet, staring at me. He didn't "check in" on me....He stalked me.
His sister would turn up within 5 minutes.
terrifying. the cats must be locked in on your scent so hard to actually track you for a whole kilometer
Your cats: "OUR friends."
My cat sometimes accompanies me or my mom, or both of us to the nearest grocery store, sits on the porch while I or my mom are shopping, and then goes back with us. We jokingly call her the cat-dog, since she waits for us like a dog would (and actually more calmly than some dogs would, she doesn't meow, and only sometimes checks on us to see if we're coming out yet 😅
She's just the sweetest
You needed to call animal control for abuse. And maybe new friends, cause if that was your boyfriend everyone would be like awe hell naw and call the 🚨🚨🚨🚓🚓 police!! That cat is abusing you!! You need space! ( Hehe, joke aside this is a fun little story )
I used to let multiple cats go outside and have them follow me around the cul-de-sac..
Like she’s fine if she hears you but if it’s quiet she’ll come looking & want to touch you 😢
The poor babies.
Sweet kitty!!
People like to joke that cats “own” us, think of themselves as royalty, or only respect food sources, but they are actually naturally-social creatures with huge amounts of empathy. The way they act and communicate is just different than humans and I wish people understood that more. :(
Unfortunately, many humans have a mindset of domination, not empathy.
They hate cats and claim to love dogs, but they do not deserve either.
Empathy is not a word I would use for my cat. She likes to rip the legs off insects and leave them alive to suffer.

Pretty much
Catless home: something breaks at night = burglar
Cat home: the night is silent = something's wrong with the cat

When my girlfriend tripped and fell and broke her ankle our cat literally jumped out of the top of the cat tree running to her, she just knew something bad had happened and she has done this several other times for other reasons. She is extremely protectful and often just comes aroubd to make sure you are ok.
My cat tried to trip my mom down the stairs regularly, by waiting for her to go down and then walking in front of her feet from a blindspot.

On Mayo Clinic site, one thing mentioned that may help prevent cluster headache/migraine is a calcium channel blocker. Magnesium is a natural calcium channel blocker.
also consider looking into or trying ginger
I've heard that some cats and dogs can actually sense a change inside of you before something serious is going to happen, and alert you. I have a friend who has seizures now and then, and her cat can sense it. She crawls all over my friend and even paws at her when she is asleep. And she does this right before my friend has a seizure.

I don’t have a room. I have a teeny slice of my cats bed. That she shares with me
My gorgeous kitty, together with my two small dogs sometimes push me out of my queen size bed! They recon they need more space!!!!!
Lol THIS
My two cats growing up would search and "capture" anyone who was in bed sick and stay with them.
PET ME! ❤

My cat could somehow tell when I’d be coming home from college for the weekend, to the point that on the times when I didn’t come home on Fridays my parents reported he would get frantic and start searching the house, especially my room.
I’ve definitely thought my cat was checking on me. Particularly if I changed rooms. She had to see what I was up to in the new room.
When my aunt passed away, I was laying in bed crying and my cat, Simba came and sat on my chest and actually was wiping away my tears ❤
Oh that's so touching. I truly believe they can sense our emotions!
I broke my ankle and was recovering post op. My cat stayed by my side. She also got real defensive if anyone came what she felt was too close.
I’m glad my cat is always close to me ❤
Cats swarmed my room after my tonsils got removed. Imagine the movie “The Birds” except with cats and snuggles while stuck in a bed.
Few people in my life would believe this since my boy is seen as mean, antisocial, and very intimidating.
I am a kitty servant, I’m ALWAYS but always pleased to see them, the absolute love high I get whenever they look at me is something I’m sure every cat parent knows
😻😻😻❤
I fell one time and my grey tabby came running to me to see if I was ok enough to still get snacks!😂😂
My Shadow checks on me constantly! She comes up on the couch to get petted
My cat does that too! They fight over who will get pet first🤣🤣🤣
Pets are members of our communities/families, and i believe they pick jobs in their families.

The Alien reason was a real eye-opener 😮 it was interesting to place yourself in cat's perspective like that...
Making sure the servants are still in the house and not goofing off on the job. Because somebody has to make dinner, keep the litter box clean, provide heat or a/c as required, leave out baskets of clean laundry to nap on and shed all over.

Love the "Alien" reason though. Some cats are so smart, I think they really do want to understand

My cat LOVES getting skritches on his head and chin. Hes my baby boy.

My family had around four cats when I was a kid .. 30 some years, it's just third nature when they're around.
Cats are very intelligent, a few of ours can open doors.
My cat learnt how to use a ladder by seeing my dad go to the roof of the house. She climbs it up just like a little person!
Sometimes the protector thing goes both ways. Like if the cat can smell sickness on their human, they're more likely to check up on you and try to comfort you through it.
I really love your channel and I’ve learned so much. It’s fantastic.
Thank you so much! 🐾 I'm thrilled to hear you're enjoying the channel and finding it helpful. Your support means a lot.
My friend found a kitten. He already had other 4 adult cats. They accepted her.
One day I was playing with the kitten, suddenly one of the cats rushed through the room and stopped near the kitten looking at her, being still for a bunch of seconds. Then he got away. He was checking her to be fine 😊
My cat had to be let into the bathroom while I was throwing up last night.... She was concerned, lol! Trying to headbutt me as I'm heaving....
😸 Cats have such unique ways of showing their concern, don't they? It sounds like she wanted to comfort you in her own furry way.
Awwwww! She was trying to help!
my cat peeking the door as im about to sleep feels insanely sweet and creepy at the same time 😂
My little watch cat sleeps on the bed, parked between me and the bedroom door. Always on guard.
My cat guards the bathroom door while I do my business. IDK who she's protecting me from, we live alone, but I'm thankful she understands that I'm vulnerable with my pants around my ankles. 😂
They are reminding you that they are still watching you.
And that you had best continue to serve them, if you know what is good for you.
@walterp. Chrysler. I agree 💯 with you. 😺
I'm a trained human.I check on her not the other way around.Lost my TV after I introduced her to cat TV.
we had a rescue cat. had seperation anxiety - hed sleep on the covers and would not move all night. waking up when we got up.
Intro to cat security 101 😂😂😂
My cat just walked into my study and meowed.... No reason, just one of her routine 'check ups' on me. 😄
My kittie has taken the role of guardian and healer of my injured ribs and bad back which has made it hard to walk and stand.
So she has become my bed side nurse as it were.
@@bohemianwriter1 Mine was like that when I hurt my knee. Sat at the end of the bed day and night, and hissed anyone away who tried to come near. 😆
❤❤❤❤
Last winter I had COVID and RSV back to back and I was VERY sick. My cat was by my side the entire time. He followed me wherever I went and slept next to me every night. He left my side only to eat and use his box. This was unusual behavior. Though we love each other, he rarely sleeps with me and we each do our own things throughout the day. Once I started feeling better, his behavior returned to normal.
5:40 My cat started eating only with her paws and even tried and managed to open cupboard doors
My cat will soldier up with my husband, and ready to after noises we hear in the house! I love it! I wish I could get a video of it one of these days!
"complex and multifaceted" ... ChatGPT wrote this lol. I wonder if the word "Crucial" will come up, too
Exactly
I hate that I didn't pick up on that
Called cats prey animals... they are predators.
P.S. cats like calm guitar playing
Mine doesn't. If I even pick up my guitar she changes rooms.
I think cats in general like music that’s not too loud. My cat will come and do the squinty eyes when I listen to certain music (((she loves Glass Animals)))
My fuzzy boys always come protecc me when I'm in the bathroom. They're good kitties
We have a full house with two adults and three younger cats and the young ones (all from the same litter) love the blinking light box. We'll often put birdfeeder videos on for them while working and they love it.
My cat leads me to thr fridge or cabinet when she think I'm hungry or need to pick something off the floor😂
My cats lead me to the cabinet where their food is and to their bowls...
My cat looks through my shopping bags when I come back home 😂
My cat checks on me while I’m in the shower
I really love your way of telling, with the little anecdotes and jokes in it. So much more easy to remember then. Love your videos.
My cat is afraid of nothing. He also eats any scorpions that sneak in, size makes no difference. He even attacked a German Sheppard.
My cats like spiders, I live butted up to a forest and get some pretty US quarter size and up spiders. I always find them dead with the back side missing.
My cat used to stalk me from room to room ❤. 😂
Another cat I had, when I was a child, spent weeks watching over me when I was bedridden with an illness.
That's so cute! 😺 It sounds like your cats are always keeping tabs on you, just making sure you're around and all is good
@@Karen8ism I have an entourage around the house as well. 😂
