Can you use this on internal surface of a sprinter van to remove adhesive previous used to attach styrofoam to walls and ceiling? Trying to get this stuff off but it's taking forever with googone. Thanks!
I've been negating doing the pinstripe on my RV. I have the exact same DeWalt Atomic drill in the exact same bag as you do. That sealed the deal, I'm ordering a dozen 3M's. If I screw up I can proclaim "But Honey, I thought I saw sign". I won't say on WhoTube she's already heard enough of that one. 😆 Really Thanks 👌
I clean old twin tape on a trucks after removing logo - result excellent: 5 min instead 1 hour with scraper and chemicals (I use on a plastic parts too)
Nice but will it remove very dried up tape material say from a car that said "NINETY EIGHT" with the decal long gone but old very dried up glue/tape material ?
If your badges were on for awhile then the paint underneath has never been exposed to UV rays. It will still show. The only way to get ride of it at that point is to buff the area with a compound.
Post a link to your rubber wheel connection please or let me know where to order the ones that you know work I'm guessing there's different qualities. And maybe any tips on using them such as direction to run em in etc. I've got an entire RV to do just the pinstripe and some small accessory paint area's on. Any recommendations on residual remover ? I saw one video where the guy used regular glass cleaner and micro cloth after the 3M wheel and that I can get at the dollar store and at least try. Oh yeah, stored RV and 30 year sun baked pinstripe but great paint so any suggestions would help. Any suggestions on faded accessory paint on the fiberglass hull 4" around the window would also be appreciated, that which baked off left once again very nice painted fiberglass underneath with no drying or cracks (the pinstripe is actually on the aluminum body and Ford chassis doors and hood). Thanks a million 👌 and I'll pay it forward helping out the next guy with your knowledge.
What's better, the smooth wheel or the one with teeth?
I know you guys have no haters.
1:56 so this is allegedly the worlds largest wrap company but they don’t know a drill vs impact driver

I need to get the 3M film off the painted plastic parts on my front grill. Will this damage that?
does the wheel cause swirl fine scratches?
Yes if you hold it in one spot for to long or it’s on high speed
Will this work to remove 13 year old stripes from a 2005 Mustang?

This won't hurt the paint when you hit it with this?
but will it blend?
It’s not quickly at ALL! Just tried it and omg took 30min to take of a 30” decal
What are your recommendations for adhesive remover? I used the 3M wheel already but I can still see faint lines of the adhesive still.

Link to premask?
“...use a cordless or electric drill”. They are both electric!
It’s an impact, not a drill
3M cost $44~ Rubber wheel cost $9. Does the exact same thing. Your welcome

This wheel does not work good.
Does it leave scratches in the paint/clear?
nope , not as long as you keep your drill speed very low so you don't burn threw the clear , you just have to take your time .
